“Yesterday was my first time at Olexa’s and the experience was great. Our waitress was very helpful with her recommendations for a first-timer. She recommended the Smoked Turkey Sandwich with a side salad. It was delicious and came out quickly given there was a full house at lunchtime. We also had a slice of the quiche of the day which was delicious also. By the end of my meal, I was very full but of course, there’s always room for dessert. She raved about the cake and yes, I had a slice of the warm buttercream cake. It was so good. I’ve been raving about Olexa’s since yesterday and will return with family and friends.“

“Punchlove is one of my most favorite Birmingham coffee shops! They have incredible coffee, pastries, and non-coffee drinks! I especially love the sarcastic, seasonal menu. They have a lot of unique flavors and menu items–– I'm a big fan of the Punchies–– as well as a plethora of dairy-free drink options.

Great atmosphere with beautiful plants, and the owner is super knowledgeable about coffee. However, I wouldn't recommend this spot if you're planning to do work or focus. They don't offer wi-fi and have a no laptop policy on the weekends.

“We have always enjoyed Baha Burger. Due to medical issues, it’s been some time since we last ate there. The owner was always so courteous to us and eager for us try new things. He introduced me to the delicious remoulade that is a must for all things I order. However, our most recent experience made us feel differently. I know people have off days. We are all entitled to them….BUT…while we were eating, we overheard the owner yelling at the cook (he was standing directly behind us) about how many tater tots he put on my sons plate. He said it was too much for a child portion and went on and on about it. There were nine tater tots on his plate and he ate them all. My son overheard him yelling at the cook and asked me if he should give some of them back. That hurt my heart that my five year old felt guilty eating a meal that was set in front of him. I’m sure we will still give them our business because the food is amazing. I just hope the owner understands that sometimes things should be handled differently. Nine tater tots was not a true reason to have gotten so upset. Now if it had been ten….😜“

“Vecchia’s overall is amazing! Delicious food, a variety of beverages, great atmosphere and most of all a superb staff! In addition, they offer throughout the week live music entertainment, 1/2 off wine on Wednesday, kid’s eat free on Tuesdays, Cooking classes, and bouncy house for kiddos on the weekends. I’ve been to NOLA countless times over the years and I’m here to say, every morsel of food we ate at this place was hands down better than anything I’ve ever had in NOLA. I love spicy food and everything was seasoned to perfection. I honestly can’t say enough great things about this hidden gem. Super friendly staff, excellent food and great atmosphere. “We stopped in for lunch,while visiting Trussville, Alabama. The establishment was clean and quite tidy even with the high volume of customers. We did enjoyed a delicious meal. My hubby ordered the Fat boy burrito and I two tacos(cheezy beef and redneck) both are served with chips and salsa. We each enjoyed a refreshingly tasty margarita, a perfect compliment to the meal. The staff was friendly, polite, and attentive to customers. We much appreciated the delicious and relaxing lunch, after our travels.“

“Nice restaurant. You will spend about $12-13 for a plate and drink. I got the braised pork plate with the hot cheddar pasta, bread, and broccoli salad. The pasta was really good and cheesy. The servers were very friendly. It's by the federal reserve. It's cool because the bathroom entrance was the old vault. Indoor and outdoor seating available. The wait time for the food wasn't long at all; they got our food out within minutes.“

“Get the donuts, skip the rest. I used to be a huge fan of this place, but after their expansions, it’s clear the quality has taken a nosedive. The Hero Burger, once amazing, is now a sad shadow of its former self. The patty is dry and lacking in flavor, with barely any cheese, and hardly any cracked sauce. We used to love coming here and supporting a great local biz, but now it feels like they’ve sacrificed quality for quantity. Come for the donuts, they’re still good, the buns and lunch menu are just not what they once were :(“
