“Have had the pleasure of 4 dining in experiences but today's meal was gawd awful! Nothing distinctively different like "flakey" with today's 1/2 pound catfish nuggets Heavily battered and mushy nuggets; like fish bathed in room temperature water for days. 2nd best would be overrating today's meal. 06.05.26“

“Wow! I swore to never eat CB again when the food got really bad and the new CEO was changing the brand. Well I tried Sunday. Holy smoke. It was one of the best meals I've ever gotten from a CB. The expanded menu is awesome. The cornmeal battered okra was 100% better than than flour battered. I got catfish it was so good. My whole table was so pleased with the food. The service was A1. If CB will continue like this I'll be back often as possible. I don't know who is managing the Pell City CB but it's better than ever“

“This was exactly what we were looking for in a breakfast diner. The wait staff was very friendly and kind, the menu was filled with all your breakfast favorites. They even customized a sandwich. Oh! And they had bologna as a meat option. Yes please!“

“It had been over 40 yrs since the last time I had visited Fat Mans, so today my wife and I decided to visit and check them out. My wife had a cheesburger with fries and sweet tea. She commented that the cheeseburger was cooked properly, cheese was melted and it tasted great. She had mustard only so there were no other condiments.
As a bbq lover, i had to try the large chopped pork sandwich with fries. We got there at 11:04 am and they had just opened at 11 so while our orders were taken immediately there was a few minute wait in order to be called to pick up food. (order is placed counter, paid for, and picked up at counter and drinks are self serve as well) My sandwich was a really nice size portion of chopped pork on a really fresh bun. Very tender and juicy and filtered very well, meaning no globs of fat, bone pieces, etc. Smoke flavor was very prevalent as well. Pickles lay on top and amount of sauce on meat was not overpowering. The sauce was a bit tangy, good flavor although i do prefer a sweet heat kind of flavor. Cole slaw was a sweet slaw, chopped fine and served in styrofoam cups. Good flavor and generous portion paired with this size sandwich.
Our fries were just basic fries, unseasoned, decent but nothing special.
Q was good, wife enjoyed the burger and we will definitely be back. BBQ and sides are sold by the lb so Im sure they could make a nice lunch to take up to the lake and enjoy. Good Job Fatman....it wont be another 40 yrs before we come back for sure!“

“They only had the cook and the waitress working with packed tables. I almost left but the waitress was really welcoming and hustling. After my food came out, the cook came by to ask about the temperature. The steak was great. I also noted her talking to other guests about the quality and temp. Not something you see, even if it wasn't a waffle house.“

“The best thing is the fresh Milo’s Tea on tap! The food was fresh and tasty. The burgers are cooked perfectly. The chicken tenders, nuggets, and sandwich have a good taste and flavor to them. They are freshly made and have good breading. The fries are amazing, especially with the double-o sauce! The service was quick, employees were friendly, and the restaurant was clean inside and out.
