Even as she was multitasking and taking care of multiple orders she made sure I didn't feel neglected. And she did all this with a beautiful smile on her face. With the experience she provided for me I will definitely be coming back. Give that girl a raise!“

“We have a wheel chair bound member of our party. The staff knew exactly what her needs were without asking. Salad was chopped so for a change she didn't have to sit there like a child while someone at the table cut her salad. Bathroom was totally accessible. Food was delicious. Wonderful visit.“

“My husband and I often eat at the Metro Diner Trussville, AL location, because the food is excellent, and the staff is amazing. “I had not been to a Sneaky Pete’s in at least 30 years, always had great food so working in the area I decided to stop.

The ladies working there were SO sweet and nice, the food was as great as I remembered. This brings back great memories.
I got the loaded dog, it was too big for me to eat for lunch, a really fat sausage with special sauce, meat sauce, fries, jalapeños and cheese sauce with a side of fries and a drink.
It was messy but oh so tasty! Even though it is about 8 miles away I will definitely be coming back, not just for the food but the service as well.
Message to the owner, you need to keep those ladies at whatever it costs! Wish I had gotten names but the ladies working in 10/25/24 were great!“

“We had such a wonderful experience! The food was absolutely amazing, and the customer service was exceptional. Our waiter, Johnny, was attentive, sweet, and so personable. He made sure we were taken care of and truly made our dining experience special.

The manager was also incredibly kind and went above and beyond by coming out and putting cartoons on for our grandson. That thoughtful gesture meant so much to us and made us feel genuinely welcomed and appreciated.

“We used to dine here quite a bit. The food and service were good and really never had any complaints. We recently moved a little farther out in Clay and we still often travel down Chalkville Mountain Road.
Yesterday afternoon (10/6) my wife and I were in the area and we were hungry so we decided to stop in and eat. It was nearing 2:30 and the restaurant was pretty busy. We got seated right away and the young waitress was there almost instantly to take our order.
Then it hit me. There are a few new faces I didn’t recognize and they were all working in harmony to get the food and drinks out in a very timely manner. The entire meal was cooked to perfection. This crew knows exactly how to keep customers happy and want to come back. Absolutely everything about our dining experience was great. 5 stars to all of the staff. They do their jobs well and smile the entire time. 😃“

“Depending on what you're ordering and what time you order it, it can be great. At 7:00 p.m., I ordered the dinner special -two piece chicken. Unfortunately for me, one piece of my chicken was so dry, I couldn't eat it. The other piece was so greasy, I could barely eat it. I ordered an apple pie and I got a strawberry cream cheese pie that had apparently been sitting there all day. My mashed potatoes without gravy and my green beans were fine. To say that I'm disappointed would be an understatement. I didn't really have the energy to take it back. I think my dog will be happy with the chicken that I couldn't eat. I think what time it is really does matter what time you order because I got the same order a few days ago early in the day and it was perfection. Lesson learned I guess. it's just the dinner special doesn't start till 7:00, so they had only been running it for an hour. the food was like it had been there all day. So disappointed. Won't be back for a while!“

“My wife and I have always been a good customer to Jax and I’ve been please with the food up until tonight. We had the worst chicken dinners we’ve ever received from any restaurant. The chicken was over cooked and did not appear to be fresh whatsoever. The biscuit was hard, the coleslaw was not fresh at all and we could not eat our dinners we’re very disappointed“
