“They were short staffed the night we came which was 1 week since they had first opened. The quality of food was top notch. The flavors were great and the banana pudding was said to be award winning. I don’t typically care much for banana pudding but, it was delicious and I could eat it every time we go in the future. I had the pulled pork and the sliced turkey. The green beans and baked beans are very flavorful and the macaroni and cheese is very good too. The menu said it had pimento in it but, the waitress said it was very mild and she was right since we were looking for something our 5 year old grandson would eat. So I’d highly recommend this place and I’m pretty sure that you will be a return customer. Hopefully they get some more good staff and they will really have a booming business.“

“We were here on opening night for the Chuckwagon BBQ! The food was absolutely delicious. I had the brisket dinner, which I chose the green beans and potato salad for the sides. My family had the chuckwagon sandwich and another sandwich which has slipped my mind. The brisket was smoked perfectly. We cleaned our plates.For being the first evening that it was open, we were expecting the service to be still learning and the food to take a while. However, the service was outstanding, and the food was fantastic. It came out in the perfect amount of time and was so fresh.The atmosphere is absolutely adorable. The music went perfectly with the vibe. We met Mike the owner and chatted about how he built a place with his own two hands. You can tell there’s a lot of love that went into making of the booths, the wall and the tables. The only slight improvement we would say is that the lighting was way too bright. If it was slightly dimmed it would have been perfect.Overall, our experience was outstanding!! We look forward to enjoying the food when we come back again.“
