“Amazing place to get a sandwich and an ice cream. The staff here are so friendly and kind too. I got a roast beef on rye with assorted accompaniments, it was grilled, delicious, and served promptly.

Then I got the smores sundae and it was amazing too. Lots of ice cream, rich, creamy, and lots of whipped cream.

Comfy cozy place with booths and tables and cute decor.

Scottsboro is a small town but the ice cream and sandwich love at Payne's is big and bright!“

“Here for vacation and we’ve hit this place up pretty much daily. Friendly owner and staff and delicious drinks.“

“Usually love Sonic, get a frozen refresher there all the time since I first tried one. Only I have to take it home and mix it up unless I want to drink the 2 inches of thick puree at the bottom that doesn’t ever get mixed in. Usually not a problem except today I’m throwing it out. Also received an Ultimate Meat and Cheese burrito today with and ate it to find no meat whatsoever in it so there’s that. Service is always great but damn, out of 20 frozen refreshers I’ve ordered, only maybe 2 were mixed together and didn’t just have puree on the very bottom to choke on.“
