“Stopped and grabbed my daughter a breakfast sandwich on the way to school. Normally if she's not finished when we get there she'll toss the rest. Not this morning, this morning she chose to go in late, and finish her biscuit. We'll definitely be back.“

We spent more than 2 hours hanging out at the oyster bar downstairs (we are typically eat and leave people)so that is really saying something. “We usually stop here for a bite and drink once a week bc it’s convenient and the best place within a couple of miles. Not usually too crowded on Friday night around 6:30. Has Friendly bartenders, rest of the bunch not usually happy. My appetizers are good, drinks good but they’re often out of appetizers I want. And out of steak on steak night. When I’ve had a full meal here, it’s ok for the price. It’s a drive to anywhere better.“

“Once again, I had passed Hartz many times in Phenix City. Finally I had spare time to seat down and eat, rather than pick up and go. Great value for money. The buffet had a very generous selection. Everything was hot, fresh and very tasty. Enjoyed it immensely and will definitely return.“

“Can't explain; other than I've been eating here for over 40 years. My Dad loves hole in the wall hot dog joints. Must've rubbed off. I get 2 whole chili dogs and tots; all the way. Not sure why you can get either whole or half hot dog; I've never asked. I did splurge last visit and got the scramble dog. I think everyone should try the scramble dog at every place that they have them in search of the best scramble dog. Hidden Grill has pretty good scramble dogs. They have great slaw. Do not skip the slaw.“

Kid-friendliness: Not too good. We avoid it when we see kids here. It becomes so noisy..most parents do NOT control their children here. It is small and not appropriate for crying, loud kids.“

“I went with my boyfriend and we got Liz as a server. We ordered our food and a few minutes later Liz comes back to show something to my boyfriend. She showed him that we could get a free entree with a purchase of another entree and two drinks. We had no idea about that, completely missed the sign when walking in. Because of this we saved $17. We can't thank Liz enough for saving us that extra money. She was very sweet and provided excellent service. We would return to this location just to see her again.“

“Food was excellent! Best Mediterranean salad added ( gyro meat ) we have had in a long time. Gyro wrap and pizza were very good. Pleasantly surprised since everything else in the area was closed. Drinks were great and priced well. Staff very friendly and on point! The inside could use a makeover, dated and very worn tables and chairs.

We returned the next evening for drinks and music had a great time! We recommend and we would return if in town again.“

However, the service could have been a lot better had they had attentive waiters and bartenders coming around to tables/sections. It's a nice place for a bit of chatter and a cocktail. The food on their menu could've been alot more fulfilling ration for what you're paying. Overall I really enjoyed my date night there!“

“Not from Columbus so wasn’t sure of where to eat so we stumbled upon this jewel. The waitress was such a sweet young lady and was very attentive. The fried green tomatoes were excellent along with my pesto & shrimp pasta and my husband’s pecan crusted salmon. Also couldn’t resist the red velvet cake! Would definitely recommend and return when in the area.“
