“✨ Local Favorite Shout-Out ✨ Stopped by Mike’s Place tonight and ended up having the best unexpected evening. I missed a networking event (it’s next week 😄), so I sat at the bar—and I’m so glad I did. Huge shout-out to Drew, who not only did an excellent job as bartender but also helps run the Facebook page. Friendly, welcoming, and great service all around. I enjoyed the salmon dip special along with a couple glasses of wine—absolutely perfect. This has always been one of my favorite spots in Conway, and tonight reminded me why. Shout out to Ken, one of the bartenders as well! -Ruthie Daugherty”

“Tried mooyah’s today for the first time. I only got a small Oreo milkshake which was 4 dollars. A little pricey but it tasted good. However- they didn’t blend the Oreos hardly at all, so I had to get a spoon and scoop out all the Oreos. If it was blended better I would have rated it higher. I’d still go back if I was craving a shake though.”

I don’t eat non jiffy cornbread…I ate every bite of her old fashioned jalapeño cornbread, country fried potatoes were delicious, and so was the cabbage, both thighs were southern fried perfection, I was in a complete food coma after this meal. I have been a chef for 23 years and no stranger to growing up eating these dishes, but they are rarely this good all at the same time! we will definitely be back to support this outstanding place. “As someone that has been to every Mexican restaurant in Conway, El K’iche is the absolute best. Discovered it a few months ago and they have some of the best street tacos I have had north of the Rio Grande. I love Mexican food and any time I travel, I always try the little establishments and even food trucks. I haven’t found anywhere as good as our very own El K’iche here in Conway. The hand pressed corn tortillas on the Tacos Moisas are to die for. The refried black beans they serve are amazing. When I eat here, it always transports me in my mind into a village 4 hours from anywhere in the mountainous jungles of Zacapa, Guatemala. I can’t recommend El K’iche enough!!!”

“Look, I don’t know where y’all found Tavares, but please do not let him go. Never have I ever had anyone, in my 30+ years of life, make certain drinks I’ve always been familiar with as well as him. They literally made me walk up to him and thank him for making them so well. His hospitality is unmatched as well. “Update 2/19/26: Quoted 15-30 minute delivery, arrived in 13 minutes. Cookies and creme and ghiradelli ones are great. Snickerdoodle decent.

Delivery time quoted as 10-15 minutes once I ordered. Changed to 30-35 minutes after 10-15 minutes went by. Total time was 40 minutes. 7 cookies. Followed directions properly.

Chocolate chip: Decent. Slightly warm. A little soft a little crisp. I like the way they bake them. Definitely a lot smaller than crumbl -- normal sized cookies. I prefer these over crumbl.

White chocolate macadamia: Again I like how they baked it and it was decent, but wasn't really what I expected from this flavor (my go-to cookie flavor).

Peanut butter chip: Great cookie. Sort of tastes like a Nutter Butter cookie. If anything it could benefit from slightly less sweetness, but not a big deal.

Confetti deluxe: This is the best one of all of the ones I ordered. Nothing bad to say about it other than it may be a little too sweet. I sometimes tend to find sweets too sugary and I don't eat them often. These deluxe cookies are larger and cost $1.50 more.

S'mores deluxe: Was okay. Very sweet. Not sure I tasted any graham crackers in the entire time.

Double chocolate chunk: probably the worst of all of the ones I had. Too crispy is the main reason. Some chocolate pieces were good because they were bitter. Needs more of that. It didn't have that same somewhat soft but somewhat crisp quality the others did -- overbaked.

Sugar cookie: second worst of all of them with double chocolate chunk being the worst and confetti deluxe being the best. It's so-so.”

“Fast, Easy Pizza with Gluten Free / Vegan options!

I tried the gluten free crust which is also vegan with vegan cheese and other toppings. The crust was super thin like a cracker. The red sauce was good as well.

The pizza cooked in just a few minutes so it’s good for a quick meal. I could definitely see myself going back.”

“Their custard is very good, 100% customizable, and the employees are friendly and helpful. The only downside is the price. The small of most things there is over $5. I willingly pay it once or twice a month it is just that good. If I get a medium, I have 2 full servings, a large is 3 servings for me. The small, I can just barely finish. And don't get me started on their ice cream cones. I made the choice one day to get a cone, the old fashioned cake cones. I love their crunch in contrast with the ice cream. For some reason I thought a 5 scoop cone would be just enough... a 5 scoop cone is equivalent to a large. Thankfully I requested a cup which they gladly provided. That ice cream cone was so yummy, and I made it less than half way through the ice cream before I topped out. Next time I think I'll just stick with a 2 scooper, that is more my speed.”

“Today I had a carne asada taco and burrito. The taco was pretty good and the meat was tender.
The burrito was also tasty but I wish they would put the lettuce and tomatoes inside the burrito instead of on the side. And I think the meat to beans/rice ratio is a bit off. For $12 a little more meat would be nice. A bit more seasoning would also help.
The green sauce came in handy cuz the red one was too hot for me.
They have an extensive menu so I'll probably revisit to try something else.”

“I tried the Beef Soup, or Caldo de Res, on a nice October day under the covered eating area. The soup was piping hot and filled with vegetables including squash, corn, and plantains. A big beef bone with plenty of meat attached was included. An excellent meal for anyone eating healthy. A small side of rice was served as a side, as well as thick tortillas.
Plenty of parking here and a nice covered eating area. I'll be back.”

“So I ordered the 8 bone-in wing combo in Buffalo and was given smoked wings. I'm not a complainer by any means and am not the best judge of smoked food because I absolutely cannot STAND smoked foods lmao. I made certain when ordering that I didn't accidentally select smoked and checked again once my food arrived and I definitely did not. I realized they were smoked before even trying them but am not one to not try things just because I don't typically like them, you never know. I know for sure now that I do not like their smoked wings...they were insanely smokey, maybe they use a different type of wood than I'm used to having (my dad is obsessed with smoking foods) but it was not a good smokey flavor, IMO. I couldn't eat them but was refunded by Uber Eats right away. The curly fries were good! A little cold but I legitimately don't mind that, they were still crunchy.What saved the day though, was their apple pie. OH MY GOD! I could eat just the pie crust all day long! The crust was like a shortbread cookie and had huge chunky sugar, it was amazing. There wasn't much filling but I don't even care because the pie crust was that good. I'm going to stop by after work to pick some more up to take home with me. ?I do look forward to trying their regular wings the next time I'm feeling wings for lunch/dinner.”

“On Saturday we had a group of 7 dine in for the buffet. we expected them to be somewhat busy. however we did not expect the person at the front counter to be rude when after standing for 5-10 minutes (not sure of the exact time) waiting on empty tables to be bussed, my boyfriend asked if they could clean some tables. she went to the back and came back and apologized if she sounded sarcastic before. the 3 different men we saw bussing tables would only take 2-5 things off the tables at a time. they had carts. I have never in my life seen such a thing. I finally cleaned off table 18 that was pushed with table 17. I moved the plates and trash down so we could sit down. my brother in law asked one of the men bussing tables if he could please get that cleaned up as we had to buss our own table. he took some of the trash but not all of it. another customer cleaned up table 17 for her and her children to sit down and eat. I watched another table I believe number 24, clean their own table off. I have never in my life seen such a thing. the only employee that actually seemed to be working out front was the woman who was taking pizzas out to the buffet who was pregnant. everyone else we encountered was rude and didn't seem to care at all about customer service. we will not be back. The buffet lacked a lot of options.”

“Went to Logan’s for the first time. Friendly customer service. Great, fresh food including made homemade yeast rolls and a cinnamon apple dessert. Macey was an excellent server, and the kitchen Manager Wes came out to say hello. I highly recommend Logan’s in Conway!”

“The tropical smoothie on club lane has never failed me. I’ve been sick all week with strep and I can’t eat much, but those smoothies have been keeping me alive. I’ve never had any issues with orders and they always make the best wraps. They pay attention to every modification and are very friendly, I go out of my way to order from this location pretty often. Thank you guys for everything!

Vegetarian options: They have a meat substitute that you can switch out for in just about any of their food items. I usually get the Thai chicken wrap with the fake meat :)”

“the last few times we've eaten there, the guy behind the counter wore gloves to take our cash payment and didn't change his gloves when making sandwiches. I told one of the staff about it and he said he'd mention it. we'll he did it again. wore gloves while ringing up our order and didn't change them when making the sandwiches. it's just unsanitary to do so and can cause people to get sick. I love eating here, they are real friendly and the sandwiches are really good, but the cleanliness has gone down a LOT. I won't be back for a while due to the lack of cleanliness and sanitary procedures. I saw on their health dept Inspections, this is an ongoing issue......”

What a great group of guys and gals that helped me with my order, morning off 9/23/25.

I stopped by to order Starbucks Coffee Traveler for a large meeting. Baristas did such an excellent job.

They brewed a fresh batch. Put all the cups together. Put extra Grande cup of cream and other condiments that my meeting folks might need. Thank you so much for being so courteous and efficient.

Few hours after my meeting, I had a long drive and this location wasn’t far from my meeting. I decided to return to get a medium roast, “Casi Cielo,” in my personal cup.

Once again, baristas did amazing job here. Special thanks to the young guy that helped me with my To-Go Order. Despite them being out of “Casi Cielo.” He did a Pour Over.

Honestly, I think pour over has something little more special because the flavor is different and the full body aroma was different. My drink tasted great. My taste buds were happy.

Thank you and I’m looking forward to returning. I highly recommend this location.

“I had to write a review for GC! Sometimes we DoorDash a meal instead of cooking and most places are hit or miss. GC is fantastic when you want a real meal delivered to your door and actually cheaper than cooking for 2. The servings are large and much bigger than Cracker Barrell. Almost enough for 2 meals! Everytime they have been a winner with thier pot roast, meatloaf, bourbon chicken and fried chicken. We have never been missing items unlike Cracker Barrell. If you DoorDash I highly recommend!”

“I love this restaurant. We go here often. The same man, whose name I just cannot remember right now…Robert, maybe?..is usually working the front counter and drive-thru. He’s such a nice dude. The staff obviously works very hard to keep it clean even though there is wear on the benches and tables, on the paint, etc. It’s got a nice nostalgia to it, and I don’t mind it being a little worn or dated. The food is phenomenal!!! PHENOMENAL, I say!!! The chicken is always crispy on the outside and tender and juicy on the inside. The fish is crispy on the outside and nice and flaky inside. And those crispies?! Heaven! Always fresh! I literally crave the green beans. I also really love the cole slaw! It has just the right amount of mayo so that it’s not too dry or too runny. My husband loves their corn. LJS used to have the best corn on the cob, so moving to kernel corn seemed like a horrible change, but it’s actually still great just like the cob corn!! Yay! And, I realize this is fast food…fast SEAFOOD, at that, but I L O V E this Long John Silver’s! It is a gem, and I’m happy to drive from the other side of Greenbrier to this spot on Oak Street in Conway to indulge in the great service and outstanding food here!
