“It whole in the wall was a place, this would be it. I’ve only been here once for a quick lunch break. I got a 6pc honey hot party wings. $10.19 with tax. Wing were wet and hot, flavor was a lil more hot than honey gold, which I’m not mad at. The wings are a bit small. Service about average, not bad at all. It’s close to downtown but all the customers seemed like regulars. I’ll be back to see what that burger hittin on.“

“First of all—the concept? A+++.

This place has that perfect balance of fun and flavor. The atmosphere is lively with personality—Soul/R&B playing, throwback movies on the TV—it feels like a spot that really comes alive on the weekends.

I went with the fish dinner (was tempted by the pasta, but note: it’s only available Thursdays and Fridays), and it did notdisappoint. Perfectly seasoned, crispy on the outside, juicy and flaky on the inside—easily one of the best fish dinners I’ve had on the road.

And the fries? Best we’ve had traveling. Hands down.

My partner ordered a cheesesteak and a cheeseburger—both well-seasoned, generous portions, and clearly made with care.

They also have a really fun “Spring Splashers” drink concept—three non-alcoholic berry drinks. I got the Peach Berry Splash and loved it. As you sip and mix it, real pieces of fruit come through the straw—super refreshing, especially if you’re not drinking.

And to top it off, everything was served with a genuine smile.

“Yeah, there’s a $10 door charge—it’s a bar after all. I’m a truck driver just looking for a good spot near the Schneider yard to grab some food with a buddy, and this place did not disappoint. The food was phenomenal, the atmosphere was spot on, and I’ll definitely be back whenever I’m in town.

I had the fried pork chop with fries—absolutely on point—but what really surprised me was the spaghetti. I love me some well-seasoned southern spaghetti, and this was legit. Liked it so much I grabbed four to-go and threw them straight in the rig’s fridge. My buddy’s chicken and waffles looked great too.

Highly recommend—good food, safe place to chill, and just a solid time all around.“

“Okay so here's the deal. I love love love Dixie Queens food. Especially the wings and chicken Philly and the ice cream. But that said it's become to often that the inconsistent nature of the food os frustrating. There's no going back there to complain because if they didnt do ya right the. First time thru. “Order food online for work mates. The online portal serves up an order number,but the system is broken and store clerks will not know the order number, nor is it printed on the ticket. That's said, the Manager (?) kind lady with the neck tattoo and gauge earrings explained the issue and was quick to ensure our order was correct. The other staff were very friendly, too.
