“9th Street is my "go to" place. Chef Bill and the waitresses are like family to me. The food is great and you get a LOT of it. I can't think of one thing on the menu I don't like! He comes up with fabulous home made soups and great desserts, which is handy to take home for later. If you want a friendly atmosphere where nobody is a stranger, you have to check it out.“

“We brought our dog to Mt Home for some socialization training (he's in service dog school). We found BF on Google as an outdoor venue, but the outdoor area was closed. So, they opened it for us. In fact, not only were they VERY sweet and the service excellent, but Cali went the extra mile - even asking about seasoning on Scout's burger patty, because they season with garlic. I'm BIG on customer service - and I was wow'd by Back Forty! My food was very good, too - icing on the cake!“

“We enjoyed the food and atmosphere. The wait staff was great and food came out promptly. I was, however, disappointed to find out that the mens restroom didn’t have a baby changing station. My husband had to change baby girl’s diaper on the floor. In this day and age I’d expect mens restrooms to have a changing station. Men change diapers too…“

“My wife and I ate at Jamie's today. We had a most delicious tenderloin. It was one of the best I have had in a long time. They call it Bigger Than a Bun Tenderloin. It would take 4 buns to hold that delicious piece of meat. Then we at a piece of White and Dark Chocolate Cheese Cake drizzled in raspberry syrup. It was simply a delicious meal served by an extremely pleasant and attentive staff.“

“Got the recommendation to go here at a nearby gas station as we were passing through the area. Great tip! The food was exceptional and so reasonably priced. Service was great. A unique setting and atmosphere and very clean. I will say some of the background music playing was obtrusively bad but the great meal overcame that. We had the chicken fried chicken with mashed potatoes and white gravy (best ever!), and the Ozark chicken plate. That's a grilled chicken breast with cheese, bacon, tomato and avocado on it. A side of grilled broccolini was included which was wonderful. Huge portions. Just a great meal!

“Really good food. Not spicy (hot)enough, but they'll give you extra chili if you ask for it. No too comfortable with all the Indian and Nepali God's on the walls.“

“IMHO this is right at the top of the list. The best Chili Relleno I have eaten since moving to Missouri from Arizona. The service is great and the prices are reasonable. I'm just sorry I can only eat there about once a month. My only complaint is the beans which are a bit runny. But that is only my opinion. The rice is some of the best I have eaten, while the food has the right amount of heat for me, not too spicy with good flavor.“

“Staff is like family, as friendly as you are. Food is good. Relatively famous. Location is easy to find. Ample parking. Seating is a shade cosy, all chairs, no booths. Easy to befriend fellow diners, or bring a party and combine tables. Specialties: Catfish, tomato relish, hush puppies, B&G. Table(art) feature a map of the local lakes, fish specie, some ads. Other aesthetics change seasonally.“

“We just attended a meeting in the big room at Ole Mill Tavern. The staff was very friendly, very helpful and everything was wonderful.“

“Love the breakfast, it was homemade cooking, and the atmosphere was friendly, a little bit of a wait to make your order but that is understandable becasue it was busy. The food came hot and the was a plus for us. I would definitely have breakfast here again if I pass that way ?“

“We sat at the bar for drinks and dinner. Katie is attentive, friendly, and a great server. We ordered the fried dill pickle appetizer, which was very good. For dinner, I had the 6 oz sirloin with mixed veggies and a salad. The salad was cold and crisp, and the steamed veggies were excellent. The steak was a little fatty with some gristle. My compliments to the kitchen for cooking the steak a true medium and not adding any seasoning as per my request. When in the area again, I will return.“

“Bartender/Waiter was amazing! Awesome service and amazing drinks. The loaded nachos in the appetizer menu aren't what we expected and my husband was crazy pleased with the brisket quesadilla but my Santa Fe salad was amazing. Overall we were very pleased mostly with the service and the drinks.“
