“What an amazing place! The coffee is out of this world and they have lots of delicious options for food as well. Try one of their breakfast bagels, thank me later. Such a fun and friendly atmosphere, my favorite coffee shop! If you haven't tried Modern Grind yet, you're missing out“

“This is a great little coffee shop, love that it is locally owned and operated by a lovely family. The coffee is delicious and a nice change from Starbucks and Dutch Bros. Highly recommend!“

“I'm not a coffee snob but I love a really good coffee. I used to think Starbucks served the best quality, but after my first time at Black Rock, I was convinced that they make the best espresso hands down. The drinks are all amazing and the staff are all upbeat, friendly, and on point. Been coming here for like 4 years now religiously and I will never go to another place if there's a Black Rock near by. I just can't say enough how much I love this place!“

“I’ve been to this cafe many times I am usually very happy with everything I order and the customer treatment is good nothing over the top but always friendly smiles and recommendations are made… tbh I’m kinda obsessed with the cucumber lemonade here everyone must try it!!! this morning however I walked up to the counter and the lady was having a bad day or something she literally rolled her eyes at me made me feel like I was aggravating her so when my son wanted something I rushed to order for him so he wouldn’t get the same treatment. He also likes the lemonade but really wanted something else but I was afraid to ask him since she was already annoyed with us. Not sure what I did aside from walk up to order. but I’ll give this place another shot hopefully it was just a bad day for her.“

“best boba and donuts highly recommended“
“Absolutely would recommend this place to anyone. We are new to Goodyear and have been looking for a great coffee shop that isn’t like the big chains. This one totally checks all the boxes as far as the drinks and the customer experience. We had a small issue with DoorDash, and they absolutely handled that great. I can’t say enough about this place and the menu that they have!“

“I've been here twice so far! I've enjoyed both experiences. The atmosphere is really homey and calm. The baristas are super helpful when deciding what to order to drink. I was recommended the Bolla Sausage with green chile. Between the coffee and baked goods. The quality of the bread, fresh produce, and coffee drinks is phenomenal. I wish I started coming here sooner. This is another local staple shop for me. Hopefully, in the future, they can extend the hours. either way, Love it! Keep doing what you're doing here :)“
