“First of all, never would have guessed this place was here! Watched a TikTok and saw this recommendation saying to skip Dutch in the same parking lot and head to New Penny. Soooo glad we did! Had a coffee date with my AZ bestie and drove 1hr to get here from North Scottsdale. My gf is on the westside. Walked in and immediately appreciated the welcoming environment. Very open and spacious with tons of seating including outside on the patio with a cabana-like setup. Super cute. The menu is huge with tons of not only coffee drinks but boozy ones too. I tried a new menu item - the Elote Avocado Toast. Yumm!! It was topped with pickled onion which is definitely a favorite of mine. The elote part of the toast was exactly what I was expecting. I also tried their highly favored Zebra coffee which I got iced. Sooo stinking good that I drank it slowly all morning. I paid for it last night with going to bed later lol, but it was worth it. My gf got a coffee which she also loved and oatmeal which was scrumptious too. The shop inside of local vendors was a lovely touch to walk through especially while you wait. I think everyone in Avondale must stop here because there such a wide range of people from Mom’s brunching with their babies, to grandmas/grandpas, to Firefighters ;). I highly suggest visiting and I know I’ll be back. Maybe next visit we’ll have time to walk the grassy area just outside with the bridge over the pond.“
“I love this coffee shop. I found it the last time I was in the area on business and I went back every day I was there. The coffee is strong and robust, they can make basically any drink you want. Additionally, I really like that they have yogurt parfaits and BYO oatmeal. These are two of my go to things for breakfast and it's so nice that they have options! I plan on ordering coffee from there the next time I need it. If you haven't tried it, I'm not sure what you're waiting for.“

“Just came in with my family for the first time we loved it the coffee was so good and I appreciate they had raw sugar, I had the morning crepes and it was so good! I wanted one of the sweet ones but I was like I need some veggies.. Isaac was very helpful the whole staff were friendly.“

“Shout out to to the Dutch employees ask for my peach ring rebel with pomegranate drizzle and when I pulled up to pay I had noticed that I didn’t have my wallet girl went to go see if I can’t get it for free but when asked said it wasn’t possible so when Brenda was called she said she was gonna do her deed of the day and pulled out her phone and payed for my drink she made my day more blessing are coming her way“
“First time here and I LOVE IT! I told her it was my first time and she was so sweet to walk me through placing the perfect order. I will kick myself later that I only order 16oz on both. I should order the largest size they got! I get the iced matcha milk tea and caramel hazelnut mocha. Those little (dinosaur eggs) candy coffee they place on top of the drinks are CUTE. Delicious drinks, quality ingredients, and fast+friendly service!“
“I was pleasantly surprised with my order. I always order the same drink and without fail, the flavor changes from Starbucks to starbucks. However, my flavor palate and presentation was met to almost satisfaction. I recently moved ( we all have that cafe shop back home that just knows you) and within the first sip, I was instantly brought home.Kid-friendliness: On top of the good coffee, my kiddo was being a little fuzzy today coming from the doctor's office. The baristas never lost their smile and was very patient with us. It makes a big difference when you're already feeling overwhelmed.“
