“We enjoy The Rattler more than most any other restaurant in Tucson because the food is always wonderful, reasonably priced and the views of the green golf course, pond and mountains so peaceful and beautiful. We absolutely love the BBQ ribs. Their fries, onion rings and the fresh vegetables are great! There is so much food, we nearly always take home a box. Breakfast is delicious too!”

“BUGS BUGS BUGS! Me and my Husband came in here June 08th 2024 for Dinner, the Atmosphere is terrible... They sat us by the bathroom first off when there was other seats and my potatoes salad had flies in it.... My Husband's potatoes salad had flies in it they were mixed into THE SALAD! these were already in it then when they made our food. Absolutely disgusting and they served us this with out even checking the food? That tells you exactly how much these people care about there customers. No discounts, no anything just here is new potatoes salad and have a nice night basically.... Terrible service, disgusting place full of flies. We will never eat here again, and I do not recommend this place to anyone until they figure out there bug problem and how to treat customers right. Absolutely disgusting... It's your guys job to quality check food make sure it does not CONTAIN BUGS. I paid $61.00 for eating bugs..... this is a disgrace of a restaurant!”

We were absolutely impressed by the friendly, cheerful employee, Alexis, and her so-employee Matthew! The sandwiches were so much better than Subway which we usually go to near our home. “The parking lot and exterior appeared well maintained and issue free.
We were warmly welcomed upon arrival by a fireball of customer service by the name of Esmeralda.
I can't recall the last time l received a THANK YOU just for visiting.
An obvious amount of pride is on full display as the building interior was well maintained and noticably clean.
The menu was simple and straight forward and we ordered without incident. Lag time from ordering to meal presentation was minimal at best. Our food was cheerfully served hot, fresh and delicious.
Totally refreshing to experience this level of customer service, not only were we made to feel welcomed, but we felt valued.

“I love subway. Don't always get the freshest food wether it be the meat, vegetables, bread, or for that matter even the cheese at times. But they are consistently average. Some employees excel others. I purchase the same two things. And that's all. But I do them when prepared correctly. I'd hate to see subway locations shut down. Overpriced. But memories. “Finally revising this review - management changed some years ago. Service has been great, both in wait time and food quality, and with pretty much everyone that works there. Friendly and efficient service. I always order on the app and pick up at the counter, so I can’t really speak to the overall “atmosphere”, but it’s been clean every time I’ve been there, which means something.

Vegetarian options: Black beans can be substituted for meat in any item, and multiple items are noted specifically as vegetarian on the menu.

Parking: Parking is sometimes sketchy when the Mexican restaurant right next to it is full; the main ingress from houghton also goes right between the two. that part of the shopping area wasn’t thought out. There are designated spots for takeout though, and I can always find a spot, it’s just tight.”
