When I go to order I see Laura the manager, who reminds me to put in my phone #, she is always friendly and personable. I once said to her - I appreciate you and she said : We appreciate you. Usually Makayla will bring my food and I love that she is always smiling and so sweet and kind- Part of the reason I come here is because the food is great and the other part is because the staff is AMAZING !“

“The food & service was excellent! My husband had The Glendale Burger & his choice was a side salad. He said it was excellent & really liked the pickles they put on it. I had the Fish Fry with Cole Slaw & Cajun French Fries. Loved the flavor of the slaw. The Cajun fries reminded me of the restaurant we used to go to in Louisiana. Portions are great. I highly recommend to stop & eat or try their bar.“

“We stopped by for Happy Hour. At around 4PM the bar was almost full but we grabbed the last 2 spots at the corner. We started with a couple beers. Cold but not icy like we like them. There was one bartender and she was kept hopping between the bar and filling table orders.

After a bit, we ordered 2 Happy Hour specials, 5 chicken wings with lemon pepper and 8 hot boneless chicken wings. The bone in and boneless wings were both large and tasty. Both came with blue cheese sauce, carrots and celery. When the menu said hot, they meant HOT. But that was fine for me.

The bartender was great and the folks at the bar seemed to be mostly regulars. We recommend stopping in.“

“Haymaker has been our favorite local restaurant since we moved to AZ 6 years ago. When they moved across the street to their new location - it’s even more our favorite restaurant. “We stopped by Yard House at Westgate on the 4th of July after finding out the fireworks had actually been held on July 3rd. We were a little disappointed, so we decided to grab a drink and a small appetizer instead.

Tiffany was our bartender, and from the moment we sat down, she made us feel genuinely welcome. We haven't received service like that in a long time. She was friendly, attentive, personable, and made the experience enjoyable from start to finish. Even when she got busy, she made sure we were taken care of.

Marshae also helped us throughout the evening while Tiffany was assisting other guests, and she was just as kind, attentive, and professional. They made a great team, and we truly appreciated the excellent service from both of them.

The only downside was the queso dip. It wasn't what we expected. Rather than a creamy queso for dipping, the cheese on top had become crispy and almost burnt, and my husband ended up scraping much of it off the plate. Unfortunately, it's not something we would order again or recommend.

Overall, the outstanding service from Tiffany and Marshae completely turned our evening around. We came in disappointed after missing the fireworks, but we left having had a genuinely great experience thanks to their hospitality. We'll definitely be back because of them.“

They do have a full menu, but most people come for the good bar food. Fish and chips very good, nachos are good (ask for extra nacho sauce), salad options good.

The bun was toasted nice the veggies were fresh. Only conplaint is the burger was a little under seasoned. But there's an absurd amount of white people in Phoenix so I get it. It was still good. I would get it again for sure. The fries were nice too. They reminded of frozen fries but didn't have that frozen fry taste. Just the crunch without getting hard and they were pretty much all the same length. I wanted to get meatloaf but they only serve It on Mondays. So we'll see.“

“I very much enjoyed my morning breakfast of a Chorizo Benni. Such wonderful flavors and a perfectly poached egg. ? When I asked my server about it, she said it was her favorite on the menu, and now I know why. I highly recommend if you like poached eggs (runny yoke) and a bit spicier foods.

Vegetarian options: I did notice some vegetarian options on the menu but did not order any.“
