“This place is a must! The sushi we had was delicious and the presentation was stunning! All the rolls came out looking like a piece of artwork! The service was incredibly friendly and attentive. It was our first time here and they took tremendous care of us. We can't wait to go back! They had multiple air purifiers inside and every one of the staff was wearing a mask. Everything was stunningly clean and we felt very safe and comfortable. They are definitely doing all they can for their guests during Covid-19!“

“Just went for the first time tonight during Happy Hour. Made a reservation and got seated immediately. Cody was our server and was very helpful and attentive. Food was amazing, especially the Mango Rangoon’s and Calamari. Highly recommend.“

“Restaurant could use a freshen up but it was AMAZING otherwise. The Tom Kha is phenomenal. Same with the pad see ew and both rolls we had. The owner even made sure to send our noodles back because they had too much sauce. The quality control coming out of the kitchen is excellent! Hands down best thai in the area. Have been before and will continue to throw money at them for more Firecrackers.“

The Korean fried chicken was my favorite item on the menu; it was amazing and had the perfect amount of spice. The kids loved the chicken katsu, which was so crunchy! The rolls were a great selection, and we will definitely be returning.“

“So far, this is easily my wife and my favorite sushi spot in Arizona.
From the moment you walk in, you can tell they take pride in delivering a truly authentic Japanese dining experience. The service reflects that traditional hospitality, attentive, respectful, and consistent every single visit.
But the real standout is the fish. The quality is top-tier, genuinely some of the freshest and best-prepared sushi we’ve had. You can tell they focus on sourcing and handling their seafood with care, which makes every bite feel clean, rich, and balanced. It’s the kind of place where even simple nigiri shines.
Everything we’ve tried has been consistently excellent, from classic rolls to sashimi. And of course, pairing it all with a cold Sapporo just completes the experience perfectly.
You can see why places like this build such a loyal following. It’s not just a meal, it’s a go-to spot you keep coming back to.

“I absolutely LOVE this place!!! This was the first place hubby brought me to when we were first dating, and it's still my favorite. The tepanyaki chefs are a hilarious bunch and I never get tired of their culinary antics. With that said, the food is what matters and I have never been disappointed. I ordered the scallops and my goodness they were HUGE!!! Hubby ordered the steak and it was so tender! Overall a great date night spot and also kid-friendly. The onion choo choo train trick always gets wide-eyed applause lol.“

“Overall a great experience. They were able to quickly sit us and had amazing waiters/waitresses. The food was great and the chef was fun and didn’t take us away from our conversations. Sake was warm but not my favorite, wish I knew that but still was good. Great for dates and family nights out.“

“If youre looking for high energy entertainment, then you need Gabriel cooking for you at Ah-So. Our entire table loved him. He was fun and very energetic. He also did a great job cooking. He had us all laughing and even did a magic trick. We also ordered some vegetable tempura and shrimp shumai from the kitchen that were pretty good.
I dinged a couple points off atmosphere just because it seemed to take a while to be seated, then once we were seated, other tables got their chef way before we did even though we were there before they were. It was also a little awkward at the end with the hostess staff bringing new menus to the table and trying to set up when we were still there sitting. I get they are busy, but it seemed like they were rushing us out.
Otherwise, worth the trip for a special dinner with family or friends.“

“Sad to see the negative reviews about this place because I’ve had such a great experience! I love their miso ramen, tonkatsu ramen, and sweet and sour chicken. I order from here on DoorDash all the time, and it never disappoints. The broth is so flavorful, the pork is delicious, and the noodle texture is amazing. The sweet and sour chicken is also really good, different from Panda Express, it tastes more homemade than a fast food chain. Highly recommend!“

“Such an amazing experience here! First time trying it out and came here due to a friend’s recommendation. Bell was my waitress and she was so professional as well as outgoing. Quick service and patient with me when I was looking through the menu. She helped answer any of my questions and there was another waitress who passed by several times, asking if I needed anything else. Her name was Ali and she provided great customer service too! They tag teamed with providing outstanding service. Super impressed by this place and I’ll be recommending it to others mainly due to the great customer service, tasty food and overall great experience.“
