My husband and I tried the honey vanilla lemon and chia seed date yogurts as well as the pumpkin pie and espresso curds. Everything was delish. “Very nice place for a sweet treat! I came here around 9:30 pm for some dessert, and I was immediately greeted by the polite staff. With it being my first time, they let me try several different flavors before I settled on orange Italian ice with vanilla soft serve. It reminded me of the orange creamsicles when I was young, only better. You're free to customize with whatever flavors you like, or pick from preset combos. The place wasn't too busy at this time. You're welcome to sit at the tables inside to devour your treat, or take it to go (bonus: includes well-sealing lids). I recommend eating it quickly though, as the Italian ice melts quickly in the summer heat. Overall, I highly recommend checking it out for something a little different and fun.“

“I asked the workers to pick whatever flavors they thought I would enjoy and I have to say it was quite good! I believe I had the biscoff and coconut gelato and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Prices are a bit high, but it's high quality stuff and it doesn't leave you feeling like Veruca Salt afterwards. Workers were really nice and the vibes were great“

“We love Handels! The texture of the ice cream is a great blend of soft but thick to where it doesn't melt fast. They have a great selection of flavors too.

The only bummer about this place is basically no seating. They have just a few benches outside. The line is pretty busty at night but moves pretty quickly.“

“Petersen's Ice Cream offers great tasting ice cream flavors. We were able to sample a few of their flavors. The staff were pleasant and helped us learn about their menu. They informed us they list all their ice cream flavors on the menu but rotate the flavors they offer in store. I like how all their ice cream flavors have fun names, they lists what they are made up of and allergens. We learned they have their original store in Downtown Gilbert.

They offer indoor and outside seating. The inside is bright, pink and gives a vintage ice cream parlor vibes.

Our favorite flavor was the Nana's Banana Puddin- it's made of banana pudding ice cream swirled with marshmallow crème and vanilla cookies.“

“Tastebuds Froyo gets five stars, easy. This place absolutely crushed our Monday night bike ride tradition. Every week we hunt for a new ice cream spot like two frozen dessert bounty hunters, and this time we landed at Tastebuds. Let me tell you, they did not disappoint. I rolled in hot, sweaty, and borderline hangry and walked out feeling like I just had dessert in heaven with central air.

I got peanut butter Froyo mixed with pistachio because I am a man of culture, then threw some toasted coconut on top like the champion of minimalism I am. That peanut butter Froyo was creamy, rich, and downright seductive. I took one bite and immediately knew I made the right choice in life. The pistachio was equally on point, like it showed up to compete and absolutely did not come to lose.

The vibe inside is chill, like the kind of place where you could show up in gym clothes or a tux and no one would blink. Staff was cool, not fake nice, just genuinely nice. And the topping selection? It is not a topping bar, it is a full-on froyo playground. If you walk out with a boring cup, that is on you.

So yeah, if you have not been here and you like Froyo, fix your life. Tastebuds is the move.“

“The employees were super friendly and all had a smile on their faces. I showed up late to meet family and grabbed a blizzard. I had a couple minutes wait time for my order and was able to join them. The seating inside is smaller and limited. I think I recall seeing some outside seating but it was cold when I visited.

Prices have definitely gone up. $6.29 for a small blizzard is expensive!! They did have a 10% military discount.

Parking: The parking lot is smaller and is shared with other businesses. I visited late one evening and was able to find parking. The parking lot is rather odd for design.

Kid-friendliness: Yes. Perfect for kids. And people of all ages.

“We live in the area and frequent this place pretty often since it's in walking distance.
Recently they added a tipping option to their register, and it honestly weirded me out.
Why is there a tipping option when it's a self serve establishment? Shouldn't I get the tip, since all the employee did was sit at the register and charge me to make my own order?

Not trying to be rude by any means, just seems silly to add this function when the customers are the ones doing the manual labor.“

Freddy’s Steakburgers never disappoints! The food is always hot, fresh, and full of flavor. Their steakburgers are some of the best around — juicy with those crispy edges, just the way they should be. The fries are perfectly seasoned and their frozen custard is the perfect way to end any meal.

What really made my visit stand out was the incredible service from Edwin. He went above and beyond to make sure our order was perfect and that we were completely satisfied. He was friendly, attentive, and genuinely seemed to care about providing a great experience. It’s rare to see that level of customer service these days, and Freddy’s is lucky to have him on the team!
