“my 2nd visit,,, this time i took my wife and great granddaughter, once aain had the country fried steak and eggs,, was as good as i recalled,,, my wife had a fruit dish which was fresh and crisp,, great grand daughter had scrambled eggs and a pan cake which disappeared which was surprising as this never happens way to go Lunas,,,,,,,, will return”

“I've been enjoying Mona's frybread and tamales for at least 18 years and have found none better! The awesome red chili is cooked on mesquite wood! I live in Tucson and the 27 miles one way to Mona's is well worth the drive! The tamales are good-sized and the masa to meat ratio is great! Also, no fillers like potatoes, carrots, etc. Mona always asks if we want olives. Hubby really likes her green corn tamales, but I'm stuck on the red! I can't recommend Mona's enough!”

“If you know, you know — this is our favorite food truck, hands down. They make the best Sonoran dogs we’ve ever had. The bread? Toasted perfectly. The flavors? On point every single time. And they’re one of the few brave enough to serve tacos de tripa… and they do it right.

It’s a super friendly couple who’s been holding it down for years, and they even have their own little air-conditioned room now so you can eat comfortably after grabbing your food.

“Subway sandwiches are subway sandwiches everywhere you go so do you really need a review of the food?

The two young people working tonight were worth taking a minute to review. I didn’t get your names but you were there 7pm on Oct 4th. So pleasant! So helpful! Looked you in the eye and talked to you! Crazy how many times I’ve ordered a sandwich and have never been looked at… and that’s considered normal (at other locations). Can you two travel the country training others great customer service?

It was just such a great interaction and you two deserve a shout out. Go forth and excel in life, you’re better than fast food, but I appreciate you being there for me tonight.”

“We took our parents here after some leisurely walking on wild burro trail. The ambiance and service was stellar. They welcomed our large dog with so much kindness, bringing him ice water and snacks. Every staff person we encountered was professional and accommodating. The food was excellent. You will pay resort prices, but with the views, service, and vibe, its very much worth it.”

“This was a class act! Our 50th anniversary dinner was so special. We arrived early to listen to the Native American flutist. The receptionist commented on our anniversary. Our waiter was terrific and chatted about our special day. The other servers also complimented us. It was such a personal experience! The food was superb. The wine great. And the lemon cube dessert was to die for! It was quiet. Perfect ambiance! I highly recommend the Core Kitchen. It was worth the extra money for a truly exceptional experience.”

“German chocolate shake???? Ummmm YES!!!! Never been as from out of state, referred by a local park ranger earlier in day (Thank you Ms. Ranger) and stopped on reverse trip back to hotel. Everyone in car very happy, shake, iced coffee and hot coffee, so many choices🤯, wished lived local but we will find another before we leave for home. Your Sunday night ladies were fabulous, wish knew their names to thank properly.”

“It has been so great watching the 11370 W Tangerine Rd #102 location get built, and we were even more excited to see a familiar, friendly face from the 1st Ave store move closer.

“Jake is the best customer service representative. Matt, in the meat department, is really good with people. The meat manager will totally help you by ordering what you need. Cashiers are kind. Store is super clean. The quality of food is upscale. View of mountains from the store front seating is outstanding. The store has a Starbucks and hopefully they will get a gas station soon. Oh and I like the Safeway app reward system as I can earn points to get $1 gas. Thank you very much Safeway!”

“Big Sexy Chicken Wangs & Things is packed full of flavor, a huge serving and its very reasonable. We had BSCW&T at the Tucson Quarter Midget Association Track last year and are happy they still attend and serve our families during race weekends. 10/10 (We love the fries and the buffalo chicken is mouth watering!)”

“Looking for a Chinese in the area and wow we're we pleased. It was about 3:00 and they were still doing quite a bit of takeout, but their dining room was very nice. In The Kung Pao chicken was great with lots of vegetables. The pork fried rice was fantastic and was served as a side when we ordered the "family style". You won't be disappointed”

“On Sunday night, November 16, 2025 my wife wanted to order dinner and us a 3rd party app called InKind which has a special offer of spend $100 get $50 off your order. We tried several times to figure out how to get the discount and couldn’t figure it out. My wife finally called the store and spoke to Brenda who was very helpful in trying to help us and apply the discount. Ultimately, we couldn’t make it work, so we just ordered dinner without the discount for pick up. 15 minutes later, my phone rang and it was Brenda from Thai Chili 2 Gilbert Crossing who proceeded to tell us a customer had come into the store and told her how to use InKind. She shared this process with us while on the phone with my wife and we successfully used InKind and received the designated discount. I want to stay that Brenda provided the best customer service and experience I’ve had in Gilbert in the last 11 years. Brenda is the consummate professional in customer experience/service and her management should be very proud to have a team member like Brenda. They have a customer for life from me and my dinner guests from a simple act of kindness and service to make a customer feel important to their local family owned Gilbert business! “Of course the Ritz Carlton brand is known for great hotels, and Dove Mountain doesn't disappoint. Ignite Lounge is so inviting, and the scenery is gorgeous. We dined on a Thursday so were able to sample the delicious sushi offerings. Our main courses were superb as well, including the elevated Sonoran Hotdog, short ribs, fish and chips, and crispy chicken. Service was outstanding as one would expect. Go around five pm to witness the Native American flautist which is an extra treat.”

“We are a big group so we always put a strain on the poor staff any where we go today we ordered 9 subs. The staff handled it so well kept everything organized and in a timely manner. Garrett handled business as usual quickly and with a smile.”

“I sometimes eat here as my second option for for a quick fix for food. It’s pretty good, in my opinion, although the meat can change everything about the sub. I usually order a sub with white bread, ham, tomatoes, olives, onions, lettuce, pickles, American cheese, mayo, and mustard. I used to get oven-roasted turkey but it turned quite plain and very bland, so I switched to ham and it changed everything for me. The cookies are great ad well.”

“I stopped by for the first time today and I’m glad I did. The employees were fantastic, friendly and knowledgeable. The food was delicious and healthy, the iced mocha was perfect, not too sweet and perfectly chilled and the prices were ridiculously low, considering the quality of the food. Will definitely be going back again soon.”

“This is the subway to go to. The management is great. The quality of their prep work is so good. Everything looks appetizing rather than just tossed in the line with out care. The bread is soft and fresh and this is probably the only subway ive been to where they care this much about their job and what they are serving and presenting. Way to go to the team here.”

“Cayton’s was a great experience all around. The views were absolutely beautiful and made the whole visit feel special. The food and adult beverages were solid, but what truly stood out was the service. The staff was incredibly friendly and went out of their way to be accommodating to a family member in a wheelchair, which was genuinely kind and very much appreciated. Unfortunately it was a rainy day when we were there but I will definitely be back to utilize the patio.
Between the welcoming atmosphere, thoughtful service, and spectacular views, this is definitely a place I would return to.”
