However the key to our satisfaction was our magnificent waiter Dan who was knowledgeable and very attentive and he gave us a little extra attention which we greatly appreciated. “Every year we fly in from the East Coast just to eat here! Normally I get the popcorn chicken with donut holes and that is amazing but last year they had on special a cheesesteak and that was so good. I also got to try their funnel cakes. What a treat! “Very great experience here and have been twice recently. The teas are good and much organic and can be made with various sweetners. The PASTRIES ARE INCREDIBLE which was a surprise because I came for the breakfast sandwiches I heard about. Those were good too! Pastries made every day fresh. I especially like the maple danish. The food was tasty and served after preparation in a timely manner that compliments the flow of conversation. I think my favorite was the Doro Wat, along with the beets, and the chickpeas, however the cheese was light and creamy and the enjira bread was mellow, tangy, soft to the touch and added the proper balance to the spices and flavors . The absolute highlight and great surprise was the staff! These were the kindest, with pleasant voices, understanding spirits and just incredible Gentleman who took out order and served us. It was as soothing as a spa date to be under their care . One last note my friends, you MUST treat yourself to the fruit drink...where do I start...it seems to be a fresh puree of sweet tropical fruits layered in glass with various delicies. Each layer of fruit bounces with flavor as you sink your straw in at different levels to find distinct flavors of watermelon , mango etc each like memories of childhood when we played all day outdoors and fruit was sweet & real. So much better than candy but did remind me a bit of mambas but healthy. The juice in itself could be a meal And worthy of a visit. “My husband and I love this place . Everything from the salads, meatballs, pizza, soup is all very good . We travel to AZ very often to watch our daughter play softball. I am very sad and disappointed though. I had a pair of AirPod pros that had fallen out of my purse about a month ago . I didn’t realize this . I pushed the find my device and it said they were at Pomos . Two young men said ohh ya we have them they have been here forever . They descried them to me . I said yes those are mine . Then upon getting them out of the bin discovered they were no longer there . Sad that employees are the only ones with access to lost items therefore it had to be an employee take them . They were a gift from my husband so makes me very sad and disappointed.“

We stopped by for lunch this week which was the first visit for both of us. I ordered one of the Vegan options and my lunch companion ordered the new French Dip, both dishes were exceptional and the service could not have been better. “We booked at Tommy V's Urban Kitchen as part of AZ restaurant week. We were seated promptly and our server-Jake-was attentive. Our meal was delicious - we enjoyed all of three of the courses. The appetizers of brussel sprouts and the risotto balls were both excellent. Our main courses were the halibut and linguine and the Sea Bass. -both of us had "clean plates". The chocolate mousse dessert was light and a nice finishing touch. We will be back and we do appreciate their participation in AZ restaurant week. We would likely not have tried this but we are glad we did!“

“I love breakfast and a good cup of coffee in the AM. US Egg delivered on both. My omelet was fluffy and tasty, all the ingredients were wonderful. The pancake was superb, and the coffee was GREAT! They even left me a carafe so I could refill myself.

All in all, a great brekky place. Not cheap, hole in the wall, but great value for the price. Worth every penny!“

“Today I placed an online order and it was set to deliver, my mistake. I called the restaurant and let them know I will have a family member pick up order. They were super understanding and said the order was changed to pick up. As my family member arrived he saw the “delivery “ person grab our order from the pick up shelves and leave. Oh well. My family just let them since the order was on its way. Well, the guy never arrived at our home. I called the restaurant explaining my issue- and they immediately said they’d replace the order. No need to reorder, and it would be ready in 15 minutes. They were incredibly professional and exceptionally fast. I cannot recommend Flower Child enough for this. THANK YOU! “Pastries were great, I liked that they had mini versions of the bigger items. Also a nice casual spot where kids can walk around while eating and even had some games etc for them to play with. The croissant breakfast sandwich wasn’t bad but not great, I think it was the egg that brought it down, I don’t want to guess on how they make the egg but it wasn’t my favorite.“

“This is our favorite Thai restaurant! I've been ordering the pad Thai for the past two years and it was amazing. It's been a few months since we ordered and today the Pad Thai was on a different level. I literally said OMG after every bite. The noodles are thinner and the sauce sticks perfectly to them( we used to order extra sauce since it was a tad thin). Sauce is a little sweet while the heat(I do medium) accompany it perfectly!“

“This is the first time that I got a decent salad to go and not have it be just a little handful of lettuce and not much else. I've always been disappointed and I love their salads when I'm there. Their Pizza still didn't have very much toppings it was mostly just the pizza which bummed me out they do better when you're there in person which shouldn't be the case. But I am so grateful for my decent looking salad this time I'm really happy. When you can't go wrong with spinato's flavor.“
