“Trying some new bakeries and breakfast spots around Arcadia and stopped by Essence for a bite this past week.

I ordered the Egg Sandwich and thought it was delicious. The bun was so soft and eggs were cooked perfectly. The French Scrambled Eggs went well with the baguette, which also came with a jam that was to die for. I could eat this breakfast every day! The coffee and pastry didn’t disappoint either!“

“My absolute favorite place for Redbull energy drinks & Teas!! 😻 They use real fruits in their drinks and pure sugarcane! 🍉🫐🍓🍑 The (i’m assuming) owner who works is so kind & funny always and is great with suggestions! ☕️ The prices are amazing for the quality & size of the drink :) There’s a section of board games inside to play and they stay open later which is very convenient! I absolutely love this place and i hope more people can stop by to try it! I haven’t tried the coffee yet but it’s next on my list. This place is so cute and i wish the best to the company 💐“

“Excellent coffee, teas, and vegan munchies. Fun and imaginative drinks for any mood. Highly recommend trying any of their coffees or teas with their various flavored foams. The iced blueberry tea with blueberry foam is light, refreshing, and out of this world. Steep is also a warm and inviting place to come hang out and work. I am usually disappointed with vegan food offerings in coffee shops, but their breakfast sandy is delicious! The slaw in the sandy takes it over the top.“

Usually prefer fresh taro over powdered but the nutty notes really came through in their drink so would highly recommend as a non-caffeinated option. Also ordered the custard bao and staff gave us a surprise extra bun 🥰 which was delicious! Like all boba places the slightly off kilter wall art is endearing (I swear this is a requirement in a boba shop).“

Food is delicious. Prices are fantastic. Customer service and the staff friendliness is great. So happy we found them. We Will definitely be recommending them to everyone for all future catering or dinning needs.“

“My husband and I went for the first time today. We were greeted as soon as we came in and were asked if we had ever been there before. I said no it’s our first time and so she proceeded to explain how the process works of choosing a tea and how we can ice or blend and even mix flavors. It’s a nice feeling when you walk in somewhere new and they help with explaining their product. We ended up choosing black tea milk boba with coconut and honey... We will definitely be returning due to great tea and customer service and AMAZING!!!!!!“

“Wow, went in expecting bagel nosh, but left having experienced artwork.
The food takes a little longer to come out, but that's because it's all homemade.
The person on the grill has a love for their work, and the taste reflects it.
The coffee is gourmet. None of that hipster dirt water, but real coffee (Kona and Macadamia Nut). I wish I could stay longer for another refill!“

I tried the vegan blt and my bf the croissant egg sandwich, both were served with cut up tangerines which perfectly complemented the sandwiches, and were a healthier option than chips or something else! We were able to enjoy all the artwork and sip our ginger lemonade and mocha coffee while the food was being made, we even got to race each other in the old Mario kart on the Super Nintendo station! There wasn’t any awkward or cold vibe that I usually get from lowkey coffee shops, I felt as if I was at the owner’s home and being treated to a homemade lunch, it was an experience unlike any other. I’d definitely recommend this spot to someone that’s tired of going to soulless coffee shops or cafes to hang out or get a bite to eat, the Trans Am is the real deal!“

“My wife heard about Mis Raices Café through family and facebook. We are always looking to try new places around town. My wife, one of our daughters, and I stopped in this morning. The atmosphere was very positive and relaxed with the baristas and other customers. We each had a different drink choice: Duvalin Iced Latte, Marzipan Iced Latte, and a Carmel Iced Latte. All three looked amazing just from the presentation when the baristas made them. They all tasted just as amazing. Once we left we realized we may have been sitting next to the owner and his daughter. If we realized it when we were there we would have told him how impressed we were and it is one of the few we would beyond highly recommend to everyone. No doubt we have found a new favorite local spot we will definitely be coming back regularly. To the entire team at Mis Raices, you are doing a phenomenal job with everything. Thank you!“

“I’m a loyal customer and love this spot for lunch , the food and service are great. My only complaint is with the iced coffee. A few times now, the person taking my order hasn’t asked how I want it prepared, Normally that wouldn’t be a big deal, but I’ve received it with just creamer and no sugar, which really affects my morning. There is another team member who always prepares my coffee perfectly and checks in about the sugar and creamer every time , I really appreciate her attention to detail!, so I think a little extra training could go a long way. A loyalty or rewards program would also be a great addition for regulars like me!“

Terrific on point every bit of it was so good and then I was gonna go inside and say thank you to the chef it was that good and then he came out and went to everyone’s table. This is super terrific hidden gem. You have to try this place.“

“It's an in house cafe at the company HQ. . .Not my first rodeo, won't be my last.Spots like this tend to take pride in the food they serve and hope folks other than the staff will return.It's not Denny's or Cracker Barrel but it's OUR spot and it does just fine. . .Burgers are pretty good and worth the money.Sides are usually fresh made.And the soda is a dispenser like you'd find anywhere else. A few bits for a refill is a pittance considering the showers and laundry around the other side of the building. . . are FREE! ??‍♂️The remodel is outstanding and was worth the wait!So if you swing through and have the break time, park your rig, grab your laundry and shower kit. Do the S³ and tie on the feedbag for a few bucks.If you've been out here rolling some a few years, it HONESTLY won't be a letdown.“
