Great place for quick lunch.
What a gem of a spot! We stopped in here for a quick bite and had a great experience. Staff was friendly and attentive, checked on us multiple times and kept our drinks refilled without a single ask. Food was FANTASTIC. We ordered the gyoza, salt and pepper shrimp (our favorite dish we ordered), spicy yellowtail, the evil roll and the Hawaiian roll. Although service can sometimes be a little slower, it is understood that this is a family-owned and operated place, which allows for a relaxed and enjoyable experience. Many customers express their love for the hot kitchen entrees, especially chicken katsu and calamari, which are considered to be to die for. The staff may not always speak perfect English, but they are very attentive. Overall, visitors never leave disappointed and look forward to returning, with some even making special efforts to share their appreciation for this small, "hole-in-the-wall" restaurant. While one customer is sad to leave the area, most are eager to come back when visiting Arizona again.
