“I visited this sushi restaurant last weekend and was immediately impressed by the modern design and cleanliness of the space. The warm and welcoming staff guided me through the menu as I ordered several sushi rolls and pieces of sushi. My next impression was the incredible taste of each item. While I’m not a professional food reviewer, I can confidently say that the sushi was incredibly fresh, and the rolls were absolutely fantastic. The servers were friendly and attentive, adding to the overall positive experience. I highly recommend this place and will definitely be returning in the future!“

“I was surprised with this place on a date a few months ago. Ever since we come we one to three times a week. Thos place NEVER disappoints and we have become acquaintances with quite a few of the staff members.

Even when we come late at night they truly make the experience by putting on my fave 90s music and let me belt it out for a few songs while I eat.

I absolutely LOVE this place. The food is always on par and always great. Staff is EXCELLENT. David is one of the BEST servers ever. Location is perfect for us and it's become our dining room away from our dining room.

If you're looking for a new sushi place, this is it!

“Our family loves Xami Sushi. It may not look like much from the outside but the sushi is delicious and the chef was trained by a Japanese sushi chef. We are so happy that this little spot opened up right in our neighborhood because our family loves to eat sushi multiple times a month but we always had to drive so far for it. There are lots of rolls, nigiri, and sashimi to choose from. We have come back again and again. It's nice sitting up at the bar and chatting with the chef. The decor is nice and my daughter loved the little dinosaur chopstick holders. Love that they also have fresh wasabi by request. We'll be regulars for sure.

Parking: It's a small location but plenty of parking for the size of the place.

“My all time, last meal on earth, favorite restaurant! I grew up in Phoenix in the late ‘80’s/early ‘90’s and there were Tokyo Express restaurants all over the place. (I recall one on Indian School and one on Thomas)
I returned to Phoenix after moving away 30 plus years ago and had to find out if Tokyo Express was still around. After scouring the internet and making some phone calls, I found this location on Camelback.
The food is EXACTLY as delicious as I remembered, at very reasonable prices, prepared fresh and served by a very friendly staff. The entire restaurant brings back so many great childhood memories. I come here as often as possible. I highly recommend the chicken teriyaki bowl, California roll and side salad. Perfection!

“This is by far my favorite sushi place. Don't be fooled by the hole-in-the-wall vibe. The food is great, the prices are cheap, and most of all I love that the owners are waiting on you and cooking for you. I was afraid this small restaurant might not survive Covid but I'm super happy that they did. Let's all support good quality inexpensive mom and pop restaurants whenever we can!“

“I stopped in for a "buffet to-go." I was pleased in the establishment and the selections. There were not many people at the stations. The food was streaming hot and plenty for 6p. They have your typical Chinese dishes, susji rolls, salads, soups, and desserts. For dinner to-go, they charge by the pound... A decent price.

There is a huge parking lot, as the restaurant is located within a shopping center. Accessible parking and entrance.“

“The teriyaki chicken is so good the vegetables have a slight crashed to them. I like the atmosphere in here. The iced tea is really good the blackberry. Premium tea. I ordered the combo which came with an egg roller good also.
