We have had multiple trips to the location on Combs/Gantzel. Two visits stick out over others. One visit about a month ago, I stopped in with my 5 and 3 year old to get some rolls for dessert for Father’s Day. The owner and one other employee were working. The owner came out with three ice cream samples for me and the kids because the rolls were going to take 2 more minutes - excellent customer service - my kids were behaving but the little sample of ice cream made their night and they still talk about it to this day! About a week ago, my husband and I went in to get him and my stepson rolls, the owner was the only one working and he had a great conversation with my husband, very personable, great customer service, and we learned his name is Matt. Yesterday we ran into Matt at the grocery store and even though he wasn’t at the shop, he was still very nice, had a quick conversation and the girls thanked him again for those ice cream samples! The customer service is incredible and the rolls are spectacular!! Totally worth the drive from Florence!“

“The peach cobbler was solid. Adding vanilla ice cream elevated it. Giving it four stars since the portion is small for the price. Now about the churros…. Cinnamon and sugar dusting is the standard for a reason. No need to add nutmeg (or whatever that extra spice was). The hot honey was a good ingredient to add to the whipped topping. I would recommend the cobbler but not the churros.“

“Donuts, croissants, and drinks (not coffee) are consistently good. The coffee is maybe the worst I've ever had. I think they know it which is why they put zero effort into it. The location seems to be more in disrepair every time we visit, which at some point becomes a factor in choosing this location. The soda fountain is always out of order, the lights in the drink case are out, the cushions for the benches are cut and the fact that they slide out of place makes it look sloppy. The service is hit and miss, most of the time you get pleasant people working but there are a couple that are not thrilled to be there. They open at 4am but they won't have half of the donuts made until way after that.“
