“First time visit. We were surprised it was not busy for a Friday night. Food is ordered at a counter then you seat yourself. Food was hot and fresh, wings had plenty of sauce. Pizza had fresh topping although it could have had more sauce and cheese. The crust had a nice slightly yeasty flavor and seemd cooked well. Pizzas are cooked on a conveyor belt. Overall it was not terrible.“

“It’s a clean place with wonderful staff. All the display cases are amazing. While the gelatos have flavor, they’re not as bursting as I expected. Still enjoyable and worth the stop. The marshmallow one was not as good as years ago when a friend gave me a sample from a pint.

For those complaining about sewer there was absolutely no bad smells.“

“I have been a wine member here for years. Love the wine tastings and always enjoy going in for the wine of the month. There is flexibility to change the tastings for a glass. I am hard of hearing with hearing aids but I can have conversations without struggling whether I am in the dining room or bar. I have great service from a number of servers which include Cade (very personable, makes you feel like you are the only person in the room), Mike (funny), Frank (funny, very knowledgeable of the membership and got me known about the member dinners!) and Greg (funny). I would dine with them all again and have. The wine bar is a fun atmosphere and you get to meet others while you are there. Ciera is new. I love the trivia she brings, knowledgeable of the wines and just very sweet. Stephanie has been there for years, knows her wines and has great suggestions. Greg is one of the managers and also works at the wine bar. He is funny, knows his wines and knows what I like and would not. Coopers Hawk is my go to for all occasions.“

They were a little busy and it was just him and another lady but they handled the crowd well and did it with a smile. The drinks here are also very good and much better than their competitors. “We live in the area and frequent this place pretty often since it's in walking distance.
Recently they added a tipping option to their register, and it honestly weirded me out.
Why is there a tipping option when it's a self serve establishment? Shouldn't I get the tip, since all the employee did was sit at the register and charge me to make my own order?

Not trying to be rude by any means, just seems silly to add this function when the customers are the ones doing the manual labor.“

“My family and I love Mad Greens! It’s so fresh and delicious! My son loves the Chicken Caesar salad because it is so fresh. You can tell that chicken was made that day! I always get a build your own because I can mix things up! My husband loves the quinoa bowls. We use the rewards program with makes it’s to easy for us all! “The staff here are absolutely phenomenal! I arrived 15 minutes before our pizza was ready and had to wait with my boys (ages 5 and 9) who were already feeling cranky. I was not anticipating waiting to be a pleasant experience. Fortunately, an employee was folding pizza boxes at the counter and my kids were fascinated. They asked to watch and she agreed, explaining the process along the way. When my boys asked if they could try, she said they could and coached them through the process. My kids ended up helping to fold boxes until our pizza was ready. Other employees popped in to help and monitor when the original employee had to answer the phone or help a customer. What would have been a miserable 15 minutes turned into a wonderful experience. My kids left the restaurant declaring that their first jobs would be at Barro’s. The bonus to all this is that the pizza was absolutely delicious. We will definitely go there again!“
