Our server Alyssa was phenomenal and helped us with food selection for a family style, multi-course meal and drink selections. Easily the best food I've had in a couple of years and arguably the best sushi I've ever had. While this is a premium location to eat at, you will be investing in delicious memories and an unforgettable experience!

“We had an incredible experience at Yama Sushi House from start to finish. It was my husband and I first time there. The restaurant itself has such a great atmosphere: clean, welcoming, and great ambience. The sushi was exceptionally fresh, beautifully prepared, and very flavorful. Every dish that came out was clearly made with care and attention to detail, and it truly showed in both the taste and presentation.
What made our visit truly unforgettable, though, was our waitress May. She was absolutely amazing! She was very friendly, welcoming, and incredibly attentive. “I recently had the pleasure of dining at AJ's Sushi Bar, a small new business that is truly underrated. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with the warmest of welcomes by the friendly staff. The service was exceptional - I have to say it was the best I've experienced in the entire century!Despite being a small business, the quality of their sushi was outstanding. Every dish was expertly crafted with fresh ingredients and bursting with flavor. “I have to say this is one of my favorite sushi spots in Scottsdale! It’s a cute tiny little sushi restaurant in a strip mall but damn is everything super fresh and authentic! When you walk in you feel like you’ve been transformed into a little sushi shop in Tokyo and the entire staff speaks Japanese! The sashimi and the nigiri’s are sooo fresh and the piece of fish are huge and little rice!!! It is on the pricier side of things but I guess you have to pay for good quality! I’m a huge fan of Uni (sea urchin) and it’s really hard to find high quality ones especially in Arizona. But OMG their uni at this restaurant I don’t know where the chef sources it from. I can tell it’s def from Japan maybe Hokkaido! Wow the sweetest and freshest Uni I’ve had in a long time and that’s even compared to having it from the source when I go to Japan! And they give you sooo much uni in each nigiri it’s just a mouth full of happiness!!! It is $25 for two pieces but sooo worth it! Also highly recommend unagi, the piece of unagi is sooo big you need to take two bites and it melts in your mouth!!!

“Located a mile from the Four Seasons Scottsdale, there aren’t a lot of good options around Troon. SWAN delivers excellent and fresh sushi. Owned by a Japanese couple, they maintain excellent standards and prices are more than fair.

Full bar and Sapporo on draft for $7.

Nice outdoor terrace with plenty of heaters.

Overall, excellent sushi restaurant with other options including miso black cod, noodles and chicken.“

We were welcomed by a very friendly & cheerful staff. Once seated, the ambiance was cozy and intimate. We were immediately greeted by our server Shira who was very knowledgeable & extremely attentive to
us all evening. Being a vegan I was prepared to order rice & vegies and then unbeknownst to us, the amazing Chef (J.R.) personally came to our table and offered to prepare vegan versions of several of their dishes for for me! The food was really good (we enjoyed some solid ramen and noodle bowls from the menu), the staff was super nice and attentive, and the happy hour prices made everything feel like an incredible deal. Super relaxed vibe right by the Scottsdale Mall area. We'll definitely be back, especially on Tuesdays for that extended happy hour value. Great spot for casual sushi and drinks“
