“The most authentic Italian food in the valley. Everything is homemade. The owner imports most of the ingredients from Italy. I’ve never been to Italy but I’m sure this is the closest you’ll get to Italy in Arizona. Everything was so delicious. “Really good pizza and a nice salad bar. They staff makes your salad as you tell them what you want on it, like a Subway style salad bar. All the ingredients tasted and looked fresh. The pizza was delicious. The crust was not thick but also not thin. It was light and puffy and was easy to bite through. I had the Barro's Special (I think that's what it was named) and my wife had a Kona Hawaiian pizza with chicken instead of ham. Both pizzas had plenty of toppings on them and both had delicious flavor. My wife also ordered the Salt and Vinegar wings. They weren't nearly as good as the pizzas. The wings were a little overcooked and dried out. I felt like they had way too much salt on them and the vinegar taste was quite strong. I don't think we would order the wings again, but we would definitely eat the pizza and salad again. I recommend giving Barro's Pizza a try. They had a steady customer flow while we were there. It appeared to be a favorite place for locals.“

We got the margherita pizza which had a very nice crust, and the whipped Herb ricotta cheese with toast (was supposed to be Focaccia but maybe they ran out I guess) which was very nice. In fact we just ended up putting the Ricotta on everything haha.“

Oregano's continues to set the standard for authentic homestyle Italian food at resonable prices (meaning literally pre "runaway inflation" prices). It's a good value. High quality, good-sized portions for what you spend. We pass a lot of other places on our way to Oregano's.“
“We love going to the original location for dinner and this location for lunch. It’s more of a relaxed environment with the options of a sand which or gelato. They also do sell imported meat by the pound and fresh bread when they have extras! I also love that the gelato flavors are always changing so you can always try new ones. I always get the piccante sand which if you like spicy this is the one to try!“

Tough to get seating on a Friday or Saturday early evening, as would be expected, which just goes to show that it is a good spot to visit and get some pizza. Pricing is fair/reasonable, menu is diverse enough and toppings can be customized of course. Friendly staff, quick service and great atmosphere. Live band/musicians on a Friday evening was welcomed. “This is not commentary on the food itself, but an issue that customers need to be aware of when ordering delivery. Many restaurants are doing this, and this is yet another...do NOT try to tip the delivery driver through them. They subcontract the services of people like Door Dash, and when a tip is added to the order the delivery driver will never see a dime. The restaurant KEEPS those tips. I always tip in cash myself, because multiple restaurant chains are doing this to drivers that end up making as low as $2.50 in TOTAL for bringing even a large entire catering order to someone. This exact scenario occurred with an order from this location.“

“Awesome place for Italian food ! We ordered the Calamari, which was very good. My wife had the Lady is a Scampi. She said "it was great". I had the El Diablo Pasta. It was FULL of shrimp ! There was a flavor party on my tongue ! Everything about this dish was excellent. And the portion size ! Holy Cow ! Both my wife and I took half our meals home with us. I also had the Italian Wedding Soup. It came with a tennis ball sized meatball right in the middle ! (I might be exaggerating a little, but it was a BIG meatball). I had to add a little Italian seasoning and a touch of salt to really bring out the flavor. It was almost a family sized bowl it was so big. Between that and the Calamari I was pretty close to full by the time my meal arrived. Our server Cari was spot on. She was also the bartender, and since we sat outside we were lucky enough to have her as our server. She was very personable and cheery. A delight to talk to. She checked back a couple of times to make sure we had everything we needed but she was not intrusive. Perfect service, perfect food and perfect atmosphere. We wouldn't change a thing ! We got the large bucket, with 4 meatballs and 1/2 loaf of garlic bread. The food was delicious, and the noodles were the perfect consistency, having a little bite to them!
