“Hands down my favorite restaurant in town. Often picked as my birthday spot if that says anything. Met friends, sat on the patio. Mexican Street corn off the cobb as an app with chips is a must (put the extra on your tacos). Everyone says the fish tacos are the best but I think its the pork adobada personally...juciy and so flavorfull. Blood orange margarita is a go-to fave. A whole table of photographers and none of us took a photo of our food. You don't need photos...it's damn good. Just go.“

“OMG! THIS WAS AMAZING! Best BBQ in AZ. The brisket was smokey, smooth and cooked perfectly! The pulled chicken was outstanding! Mac n Cheese... not one elbow macaroni left in the dish! The homemade sauces are perfect (try the Arizona Gold for something different). Anyone who rates this places below a 5/5 is just wrong...“

“First time trying The Taco Spot & it did not disappoint! We ordered the loaded carne asada fries and birria tacos. The food was so bomb. The tacos were crispy, birria was juicy and the seasoning on point. Loved it! 10/10 We'll definitely be coming back soon!“

“Our new go-to dinner out spot. Consistently delicious southwestern food, great variety of options, everything is fresh and plated beautifully. The selection of drinks is great too. I suggest starting with the sampler platter entree and arrive early and be patient there is often a wait to get in but it's always worth the wait.“

“Some of the BEST quesabirria we’ve tasted!! We are fortunate enough to have two places that make some of the great Birria at home in Montana, so our standards may be high. We are OTR truck drivers and it has been extremely difficult to find Birria that has met our expectations being out on the road. Glad we gave this place a try! We’ll definitely be back for more!!“

“Came across Fuzzy in Texas years ago, and instantly, it became my favorite go-to.When I moved back to Arizona a few years ago, I was looking up margarita places and was shocked and so excited when I saw Fuzzys! Having gone to 2 different locations in Texas, walking into the Gilbert location was an exciting surprise. It's huge! Has a full bar and patio! Very well taken care of and clean! There's a few bartenders/workers who have been there for some time (Kaylee, for example) who are amazing and make my drinks perfect! They do change out their drink menus. My favorite is an "expired one," but they still make it for me almost every time!I take everyone I know or meet here and it's become a fan fav for a lot of them as well.“

“If you're hungry and love tacos, you're in luck. Santa Madre serves up tasty tacos and they do it with a smile. Be warned, the restaurant is small and the clientele knows how good the food is. So, finding seating can be a challenge. The carne asada tacos are favorites of mine. If I'm in a grab-and-go mode, it's the burrito version for me with a healthy squirt of the chipotle sauce to heat up the tongue. Their al pastor is amazing and some best I’ve eaten - it has the right balance of heat and sweet. One of the things I appreciate is the fresh condiments bar, especially their smokey chipotle sauce. They have a nice variety of toppings, including: cabbage, cilantro and onions, cucumbers, pickled onions, coleslaw, and jalapeños. They also had a balanced selection of salsas and other sauces. The chipotle is a "must-try." I like to pour it on top of the coleslaw you put on the tacos. Their rice and beans are not just something to take up space. They are simply good eats.Nothing is hidden from the customer. Everything is cooked on the griddle to order, right where you can see what's going on. The only thing to remember is they close early at 8:00 pm. So if you want a late night snack or dinner, you're out of luck. The place is not fancy. However, Santa Madre is the perfect example that you shouldn't judge a book by its cover. You get a great meal at a good price, with excellent service, from very nice folks. Well done.“

“4 atmosphere because it was so busy it was incredibly loud... Hard to have a conversation... That's not a bad thing as the restaurant can't control that... Great fast service, friendly, hot food, ample coffee flowing and the food had no leftovers... Only the 6th time here never a bad meal this far and don't expect that to change... I will be backParking: Plenty!!!Kid-friendliness: Kids everywhere... Loud.. lol but great“

“Driving through the area on vacation and stopped in for lunch. Hands down the best quesadillas I've ever had. Tacos were all incredible but the carne asada was our favorite. Fantastic salsa and guac bar. Staff are all friendly and genuinely welcoming. Dining room and bathroom were all markedly clean. Don't skip Tacos Calafia!“

“Tried the KG burrito as a first time customer, and it was def a 11/10 for me! I would for ever more continue to eat here. Food is fresh and authentic. The flavor was definitely there enjoyed the hell out of the queso and the rice it was super flavorful and cooked beautifully! Found my next fav authentic burrito spot. I like the fact that the food here isn’t over powering and greasy like most. Everyone has their own preference but this is mines personally?I’ll be back to try more since the food left a good taste in my mouth?“

“I have been going here for at least 30 years. I miss when the dad had the store open the chorizo was the best homemade. I wish I could still purchase it fresh. I go for the green chili burrito its one of my favorites. Sometimes also it depends on the batch also sometimes it disappoints but most the time its the best in town.“

“I tried their cheese enchiladas with red sauce and a side of rice. The rice was ok, but the enchiladas were amazing! The sauce was delicious and came with a drizzle of what I think was sour cream. Most Mexican restaurants will serve enchiladas with soggy lettuce that is usually warm, but not here! The enchiladas came with a chilled mix of fresh lettuce, tomato, onion and cilantro and it was perfect with the enchiladas! Super friendly service as well!“

“Had the Carne Asada tacos they were delicious. The flour tortillas were soft and just right for thickness. The meat was tender and cut to the right size pieces. Prices were pretty good. 4 stars for the single item menu. Every had to be purchased singlely. No combo plates. Rice was a single item Beans single item etc. This makes it if you buy 3 tacos rice and beans and a drink into a very bill. The place is set up very well in the small area they occupy. The staff were very nice and brought our food to the table when it was ready!“

“As someone who has lived in AZ my whole life, I love Mexican. I literally had tacos at my wedding. This place was really delicious. The ambiance is fine, a bit nicer than every other basic Mexican restaurant in town. That being said, the best places usually do have a ridiculously old, "whole in the wall vibe" and they do meet that criteria. I'd definitely have a beer with some friends here before seeing a movie.Service was perfectly fine - nobody was bending over backwards for us but it was prompt and plenty friendly. I often get take out here too so it's mostly a nonissue. Their takeout service is excellent though, the food is always warm all the way home and not a mess in the bags. It's also ready right on time.Lastly, the whole reason to go, the food just flat out rocks. It's no 5 star establishment but it is excellent. I always get a bowl and everything tastes fresh every time. They don't skimp either, like Chipotle always does. They load it up with what you ask for and then some. They also have a ton of options and many things are homemade (the salsa is killer here, the best in Gilbert honestly). You'd be hard pressed to find a disappointing menu item honestly, my wife has tried something different every time and still loves it.Overall, this is the perfect spot to grab a bite with some friends before other nightly plans or if you just want some solid Mexican takeout. I've been a few times and I'm always satisfied.“

“Stopped here yesterday to grab some lunch and let me tell you I did not regret one minute of it! I got the birria tacos, and it was the best birria tacos I have ever had! It was busy in there, but they got everyone food out quickly. Everything was hot and fresh, and the customer service was great. The lady who took my order was super nice and helpful. It was clean in there, and there were plenty of spots to sit at. Overall, I definitely recommend grabbing something to eat here it was maybe $33 dollars for two plates of birria tacos, but it's definitely worth it. There is so much meet and cheese in the tacos and rice and beans on the side. They even had a salsa bar to grab whatever you like on your tacos.“

“I had the fajitas, and of course, the chips and salsa. Everything is made from scratch there, and you can really tell. Absolutely delicious! I tried the green salsa just to test it out. I’m not normally a green salsa guy, so expectations were low. I could not stop eating the green salsa after I tried it. The chips, fajitas, tortillas…were all delicious. After our awesome waitress Ebony told us how much she loves the rice and beans, I tasted them and understood why. The refried beans are the best I have EVER had. 10 out of 10 place to eat. Everyone was helping each other, and smiling. Friendly staff and great “chill” music. People seem to enjoy working there, and it shows.“

“Cannot say enough great things about Rita's. They could have a line around the corner and somehow still have your on spot order ready within 10-15min and the quality is always consistent. “Excellent place to dine for authentic Mexican food. It’s family owned and local. Very tasty food. I had the carne asada plate special. It was very very good! Highly recommend. It wasn’t busy at all when we went. Got a margarita which was standard but the food is great. They do charge you for refills of chips and salsa but we didn’t eat more than 1 and they charge because it’s a family owned business. Excellent food!“

“Starting with the chips and salsa to our entrees, the food tasted great and the portions were ample. The restaurant and restroom were clean. The atmosphere was pleasant. The only reason I didn’t give Manuel’s 5 Stars is because of below average service from our server. After dropping off our food, she disappeared. No drink refills or nothing. We had to flag her down to get the check. Even with the below average service, I would still recommend eating at this location.Kid-friendliness: There is a kids menu.Wheelchair accessibility: Yes“

“The food is always amazing and the service cannot be beat. I always have the avocado torta but my husband is a little more adventurous and he tries different things every time we come. This time, he had the pork carnitas with the barracho beans and he loved every bite. We had plans so didn’t have any margaritas this visit, but those have always been delicious! I would strongly recommend trying Isabel’s and we’ll definitely be back when we’re on that side of town.Vegetarian options: As a vegetarian, I crave the avocado and cucumber torta. It is my favorite thing on the menu and is always perfectly prepared.“

“Food is very good here, nice unique flavors, well presented and temperature hot.Service is sub par; waitress seems to bathe in men’s cologne. Slow and indifferent to service. Had been waited on her 3x now and will avoid her next time. Table and area smelled sour, booth had chips in it and the floor had dirty silverware on it. Mind you we were there at lunch opening. No managers present.“

“I was out running errands and stopped here for a breakfast burrito. Whenever I try a new burrito place for the first time I always get the machaca burrito. I know if their machaca is good, everything else is going to be good. Also, for me a burrito has to taste good on its own, without needing to add salsa. The machaca here was pretty good but not fantastic. It needed the salsa. On its own the machaca seems like it was missing a little something. Maybe it just needs salt. I'm not sure. But add the salsa, either one both are awesome, and the burrito becomes whole. In all, the food was delicious. Come check them out. You won't be disappointed.“

“This place is the spot if you're shopping around the outlets. It may be outside but it's worth it. I wouldn't bother getting food from taco girls (no offensive but you can't even compare the two ? quality and service just isn't there) I'd recommend the birria tacos or elote :)Parking: Its the same parking around the Phoenix outlet malls.
