“I’ve been hearing so much about chimney cakes — those sweet, cylindrical pastries of European origin — and finally decided to give in to the hype on a Sunday evening. We were looking to satisfy our sweet tooth, and AZ Chimney Cakes delivered!
Tucked right next to Cinemark, this cozy little spot is only open from Friday to Sunday. The first thing that struck me (and made me smile) was that the entire place is run by women — love seeing that kind of girl power in action!
There was a good crowd when we arrived, but we were warmly welcomed and invited. I went with the Biscoff Chimney Cake and a White Chocolate Mocha. Heads up: everything is made fresh to order, so there’s a bit of a wait — but trust me, it’s worth it.
When our order arrived, the cake looked absolutely dreamy. It came with a soft serve swirl on top, and the chimney cake itself was crispy on the outside with a soft, fluffy interior. The caramelized sugar coating gave it that perfect sweet crunch. It was decadent without being too heavy — exactly what I hoped for!
The coffee? Strong and smooth — just the way I like it.
All in all, we had a fantastic experience. Great vibes, delicious treats, and lovely people.“

“Amazing soft serve. Like that they do different combinations of flavors regularly (seems like every week). Personally, I love the dulche de leche cause it’s like a caramel soft serve. But pretty much all of them are amazing. Just like the logo “not too sweet.” One thing that takes this place above others for me is that it is always fast and they have a really good staff. And whoever the guy is that works there is exceptional. His customer service is so kind. Thank you for always making my wife and I’s late night treat worth the drive.“

• Double Double Malt Milkshake: Thick, malty perfection—easily the best shake in town.
• Strawberry Shortcake Sundae: Fresh berries, warm cake, cold custard… pure nostalgia in a cup.
• Concretes: Love the surprise layer of mix-ins tucked right through the center. (Skip the lemon concrete, though—flavor didn’t land for me.)

The custard itself is ultra-creamy, making it a great change-up from ordinary ice cream. Prices run a bit high, but the quality and portion size justify the splurge.

Bottom line: If you’re craving something cold, rich, and consistently delicious, head straight for Andy’s—start with the Double Double Malt and thank me later.“

“So I am originally from Springfield Missouri and used to go to the original Andy’s in Osage Beach before they opened Andy’s in Springfield. This was a great place for family to go and the lines were always long but soooo worth the wait! My son and I moved to Tucson 2 1/2 years ago and have been craving Andy’s since moving here. I just discovered the other day that there was Andy’s in Phoenix so we drove 2 hours today one way just to go get Andy’s frozen custard! I even brought a cooler with dry ice to bring Andy’s home with us and had my staff at work tell me what they wanted because I said they deserved a little taste of my hometown deliciousness! We get there and we were ordering and I told the young man at the window that I’d drove from Tucson just to get Andy’s because I used to go to the original Andy’s back home and he rudely cut me off and said he didn’t have time to listen to me because he was busy. Just want to say I was really disappointed at how I was treated and the staff there really need to learn real Ozark hospitality because I’d never be treated like that in Springfield. I spent over $80 in that one trip today on Andy’s and will not visit that location again.“

“I visited on New Year’s 2026, and there was only one employee working while also training a new staff member. Despite the line being out the door, his service was absolutely phenomenal. He stayed calm, kind, and efficient under a lot of pressure…this guy truly deserves a bonus! Unfortunately, there was no option to tip digitally (cash only), so I’m sure he missed out on tips he otherwise would have received.“

“Got here for an egg waffle as I had that in Taiwan before and loved it. Although I got the original one with nothing else, the taste was yummy and the order came pretty quick. You place an order at the self serve screens and you get a text when your order is ready. They seem to have a variety of other yummy sweets, definitely will go back to try some more .“
