“The pho here is phenomenal. I've had Pho from all over the AZ and WA state and there really is no comparison to the pho at Rice Paddy. It is so good that what I thought was good pho before is really unacceptable now that I've had this pho. I'm not joking when I say that you will be craving this soup after the 1st time you have it. Every now and again you come across a business where service AND quality are superb. Where the owner's passion shows through in their products or service. In this case, Rice Paddy - the owner is also the chef and his love for his craft shows in his high standards for his food, his prep, and his ingredients. What makes this place even better is, not only is the food good but the staff make you feel like part of the family. I'm there at least once per week, I hope this place gets the recognition it deserves!“

“Authentic Vietnamese food served by a lovely and kind staff. We ordered the grilled beef vermicelli, Vietnamese coffee, and grilled pork banh mi (not pictured). Everything was delicious and the meat was cooked to perfection. The restaurant itself is cozy and comfortable to dine in. We’ll definitely be back for more.“

“Bahn Xeo - 5 Stars! Spot On Perfection! Turmeric infused crepe flour fried in coconut oil with the proper ingredients of shrimp, pork belly and bean sprouts.

Bahn Xeo is like candy for food lovers!

Paired with a plate of lettuce leaves and sweet Thai Basil because you want to eat Bahn Xeo like it's a wrap, a lettuce wrap. You place of piece of Bahn Xeo, along with a little bit of pickled carrots and radish and a leaf of Thai Basil inside a lettuce leaf and wrap it like an egg roll. Dip the wrap in the sweetened fish sauce and eat.

NOTE: 9 out of 10 Restaurants will NOT make Bahn Xeo. This restaurant is the same. I just so happened to show up at a time when 2 Aunties were visiting and the good nephew who owns the restaurant was making them Bahn Xeo. The Aunties pulled some strings for me. Thank you Aunties Lin and Yu! :)“

It was fast (ready earlier than estimated), staff was super friendly, and the food was fantastic. I had panang curry with chicken, gluten free, hot. I love and eat Thai regularly, all over the US. “My friend and I came here today for the first time for lunch. It was quite confusing at first, there is no menu posted other than the sandwiches. There are hot and cold dishes you can take up to the counter, but no descriptions in English. We ended up getting the lemongrass chili tofu and asked the lady at the counter for a noodle dish with spring rolls and pork belly to share. Unlike other reviewers, we didn't think it was overly expensive. First the tofu, they make it in house and it's amazing! Best tofu by far that I've ever tasted, and you get a ton! The noodle dish came out without any spring rolls, but we let it slide because it was so delicious. Fresh and light but with rich bites of pork belly and a tangy sauce on the side. The owners kept coming by to ask if we liked everything, and before we left they brought us a loaf of freshly baked bread for free! We'll definitely be back again. I just wish they had a proper menu to look at with descriptions in English, I feel like we missed out on a lot of options due to the language barrier.“

“I've been going to this place for years and the quality of the food has been consistent. I normally get the pho and share a spring roll order and Vietnamese sandwich. Let me tell you the broth for the pho has a very authentic and established taste. What do I mean? It tastes like it's the same broth brewing in the same pot for a long time. The spring rolls are a nice size and always served with authentic peanut sauce. The Vietnamese sandwich was very delicious and the bread was soft. The ambience is very nice in there. The tables are arranged to fit a good group of people but the sound is well contained so it doesn't feel loud in there. The service is always good. The staff is very attentive and friendly. This place is located in a shopping center and there's plenty of parking. The price is very affordable for the amount of food you get. If you're in downtown I recommend you try their pho!“
