“This Tucson Sub spot never misses! Always HITS! They have a variety of sub options on their menu, as well as healthy choice options from wraps to salads. Don’t be afraid to ask about their secret menu options either! The owner recommended one today (see photo below) and it was absolutely everything I wanted in a sub sandwich. Great tasting ingredients, not shy of filling the bread up, threw that extra cheese just right, and had a spicy kick to it. I have tried a few different sandwiches on the few occasions I have returned, and some menu items I have revisited, always with the same love and preparation as the time before. Beyond the food, is the service. This Ma and Pop shop heart and soul is in its hospitality and welcoming feeling, and it directly reflects into the food they serve on a day to day. I have found no reason to go to any other sub place in town because, for me personality, this one takes the cake. Amazing people, outstanding service, delicious food, great value, all in one locally owned and operated location right here in Tucson.“

“I visited last week and picked up 3lbs of ground beef. I have to say, I won’t be going back to Fry’s for my meat anymore. My sloppy Joe’s turned out so tasty and flavorful, without all the gristle or those unknown fillers often found in store-bought ground beef. The chat with the staff was fantastic; the friendly and funny guy helping me even suggested camel lol. I’m not quite adventurous enough yet to try that, but I definitely plan to come back and explore the other delicious looking meats and treats you offer. The value is truly excellent for what you get. The atmosphere was warm and inviting—everyone said hello and joined in the friendly conversations. I left feeling happy, with a smile and some great quality meat in hand. This place has definitely earned a forever customer in me.“

“I had an amazing experience with Quiznos thanks to one incredible employee, Ernie. I placed a DoorDash order and unfortunately my soup was forgotten. I called the store to let them know, and even though they normally don’t handle delivery themselves, Ernie went completely above and beyond.

He personally brought my soup to me and even included a sweet treat as an apology. That level of customer service is rare these days, and it truly made my day. It’s clear that Ernie genuinely cares about customers and takes pride in his work.

“This Subway is the nearest eatery to the Country Inn & Suites Hotel, so for a quick dinner late, it turned out to be a good choice. The staff was nice, and the sandwiches were the reliable Subway fare with fresh ingredients.\nNote that the hotel calls this Subway "within walking distance", but that means across a divided four-lane road (South Tucson Blvd.) with no nearby pedestrian crossing markings. We elected to drive and just made a loop with right turns to get to the Subway. There's parking behind it, and the driveway entrance is on the north side of the building.“

“I built my own sub and if I do say so myself I did a pretty good job. Seriously though, I wish I would have gotten the names of the employees working. They were fantastic and had loads of patience. My daughter and I went into Subway at 17:30 (5:30pm) on 01/27/2025. I hope I have narrowed things down. My contacts were extremely cloudy and it was getting dark. I can't see to drive very well at night and my daughter doesn't drive. I might have seemed hurried and a bit moody to the employees there. They handled it with class and dedication. I am so sorry if I seemed a bit cross. My sandwich was delicious and I will definitely be back in a better mood. It's no excuse, I could have asked but I didn't know if you could still build your own sub with the ingredients you wanted or if the menu changed to what was suggested. “Walked in to pick up for DoorDash. The manager shared that they were very backed up due to a team member not showing up and they were in the middle of delivering a HUGE catering order.

Angel was the only one in the store and it was genuinely astonishing seeing them handle the rush alone with a smile.

Both Angel and the manager were exceptionally communicative and consistently considerate to me and other patrons even with the visible stress lol

“I've been in there a couple of times. The food is good. The workers are hard workers. I got PTSD symptoms I'm not a veteran but helped a lot of people and helped save moms and babies during the pandemic. I also helped save 3 million bees. Trying to save the world a food supply. I miss the $5 dollars foot longs. I wish they bring those back. I hope they keep there prices low as there doing now. Maybe have some specials like $7 dollars foot long on weekends? “Just wanted to give a shout out to an excellent employee named Michael at this location. I hadn't been to a Baggins since before the pandemic. Earlier this week, I was able to have lunch there, and I found it even better than I remembered. The food was fresh and delicious, especially the cookie! But the best thing about my visit was the assistance I received from Michael - he helped me with my order and even made sure I chose the right soda. “I like the food here, but the pizza upsets my stomach sometimes, and at my most recent visit I got a slice like I often do and the crust was very rubbery and hard to chew. It didn't bother my stomach this time though. I think it was just in the warming oven for too long or something. It's the first time I've had a slice with the crust that way. The taste was good, and always has been.The cheesecake pops are excellent!The staff are all friendly and the place is clean. I like to eat their food. The salads are very good too. I haven't tried anything else yet.

“Really good sandwiches and very cozy! Went here after flying back from Florida for my uncle’s wedding; I got the high baggin’s sandwich, tomato basil soup, and a lemonade. Each meal comes with a piece of cheese toast and a cookie, free of charge. The sandwich was amazing! The egg salad blended well with the bacon, and the iceberg lettuce added a perfect crunch to it. The tomato basil soup was well seasoned and nice and hot. I reccomend placing the cookie they give you on top of the soup container while you eat the rest of your food to help warm it up. I hope to go again - the food was great!“
