“Cafe Zamora is a favorite of the locals in the area! There are always customers in the restaurant. Service is excellent and staff is very friendly! Food is delicious and always hot! Chips and salsa are always served and always fresh. Salsa has just enough heat. No alcohol but sodas are very generous in size. Pictured is a plate with 3 tacos, rice and beans and the other is one taco, a cheese enchilada with rice and beans. This is one of our favorite 'go to' restaurants.“

“Last time I was in the area this location wasn't open so today I decided to stop by and try them out. Is there anyone in this world who can say no to a Quesabirria taco? Not me anyway. I was pleased to see it was pretty busy inside. While small, it has a good amount of seating and smells amazing inside. We took a moment to look over the menu and decided on four Quesabirria tacos and a cheese quesadilla. They have two sizes of Quesadilla so I ordered a medium. We were greeted right away and our order taken. We were given a number and told they'd bring it out to us when ready. Everything arrived so fast and looked amazing. They have salsa bar with multiple salsas, cucumbers, onions and cilantro and such. The green salsa was awesome! The consommé had great flavor and adding the cilantro and onion made it even better. Our tacos were full of meat and cheese amazing. Thank goodness I ordered the smaller quesadilla because the tacos were so filling. We really enjoyed everything and will definitely be back. The location was clean and well kept.“

“I was so excited to return yesterday since it had been a few mos- the food was delicious as always, but the paid for rice and beans were forgotten in my pick up order :( I always spread them on my mulita so it just wasn’t the same… I should have checked the bag… but I was the only customer and staff seemed confident. “The food was decent, but 24dlls for one small chile relleno and a soggy disintegrated enchilada with a side of rice and beans and a drink seems overpriced. The food was a little bland, and suases were weak. Overall, a good experience eating here, i would have given 3 stars on the food, but the free chips and salsa helped. Hate leaving a restaurant hungry so if you are a big eater like me look somewhere else,staff was very friendly and the place was clean for me it was just the bland food and the portions.“

“Tacos were some of the best that I’ve had here in AZ. The red chicken seasonal tamale was complete fire. It was amazing. The quesadillas were okay as well. I did not care for the Horchata whatsoever. However, it was my first time tasting it, so I wasn’t sure what to expect. It tasted of just milk & cinnamon, so it wasn’t a drink I wanted to have with my tacos. None of the family enjoyed it, so we just threw it away. The service was okay. The cashier shorted me .75 cents. Which is not a big deal and I didn’t mention it to her. She kept looking at her drawer and my receipt after she rang me up and I’m assuming noticed that she didn’t have change and handed me back the cash and just walked off to get my drink lol. I was like umm… okay. Since it was just .75 cents I laughed it off, but it was very strange and unprofessional to do that to a paying customer. Other than that, I ordered online and food was ready when I got there and it was very hot, fresh, and delicious.“

“I am a bit of a rolled taco snob coming from SoCal. I'm glad I found this place cuz it's just like home. Everything was fresh. Rolled tacos were not greasy and served just the right way with guacamole, shredded cheese, and some white cheese on top as well. Rice was cooked well and a nice amount of garlic in the recipe SoCal style. Service was great too. Definitely my new favorite go-to spot. Great job!!“

“I waited for 30 minutes for my food after I ordered. For me... the prices were kinda high. I paid 56 for 4 burritos including tip. I got the bacon egg and cheese and their was probably about a dozen eggs in it. I tried my wife's carne asada and it was the bomb.“

I've only been disappointed like once or twice in my whole time eating and coming here. “Best deal in town if you're looking for Mexican food. You've probably noticed all the hottest burrito joints are all charging something like $15 for a single burrito. No side of rice or beans, just a simple burrito.Not señor burrito. This is easily hands down my favorite place to get some Mexican take out. The prices are reasonable, yet the portions are huge. Monster burritos. Sorta thing you need after a long day at work when you're too exhausted to go home and cook a meal.For me personally it's the Diablo shrimp burrito. Everyone boasts that they have a spicy burrito but it's always a letdown in the actual spice or flavor department. Whatever they're putting in that Diablo sauce is fire. I don't care what the repercussions are the next morning when I wake up and have to sit on the porcelain throne, I'm always asking for a little extra Diablo sauce. It ties so well with the shrimp and rice. I hope they come up with more menu items that incorporate that sauce.The location itself is in a comfy part of town, and considering they make all the food from scratch service is very fast. Shout out to the guy working the window, he's always super cool and we talk cars almost every time I pull up.“

“Visited for the first time. Ordered a carne asada Machete, al pastor huarache and a tripa taco. The machete was pretty good, stuffed with asada and cheese, the huarache caught me off guard with the very dark colored tortilla (but the I remembered it was México City style food, not northern Mexican food, so no big deal), the tortilla itself didn't have any flavor, but the add ones like the spread beans and the al pastor gave it some flavor, it was ok. What I really loved was the taco, the tripa was crispy not burned or bland, just perfect and delicious. Double small taco size tortilla. Will give it another try, maybe something else in the menu.“

“Their salsas are so delicious! A warm and inviting atmosphere. The folks here are so friendly and cheerful. We stopped in after gym meet right down the street. Our breakfast was cooked in great timing and was very good! They said that people drive by but sometimes don't see the restaurant! How is that possible?
I love how they give to the community as I noticed the big calendar near the front entrance. They also do catering here.
We gladly recommend people give them a try.“

“First of all, service is a bit slow today, but the Birria Ramen was well worth the wait. With a Carajillo drink in my hand, I was chowing down on this delicious soup like no other. The noodles are tender, the beef cooked to perfection, and soup base delicious and flavorful.

This lunch was a belated birthday lunch with my mom, and hanging with my sister and her husband was fun. The only person missing was the love of my life (wife), but she was as busy as a bee at work.

You can never go wrong with any item on the menu. I highly recommend the ramen and tacos.

I ordered some churros, but the weekend PIR crowd cleared them out. I wanted to tear up and was only consoled by the fact I could come back and eat again. :)“

“This restaurant was a delight! The margarita flight was fantastic with three different flavors. The entree portions were large and everything we ordered was delicious. The guacamole had pomegranate arils which was unexpected but gave it a nice sweetness. Even the churros were wonderful. Definitely not the dry churros you get at a festival. These had caramel inside with chocolate sauce drizzle and served with ice cream. We will definitely return!“

“This restaurant never disappoints. The food is always delicious and service great. This morning we stopped by and ordered The Mexican Flag and Pancakes with Churros, and of course, with Cafe de Hoya. Our waiter, that we get from time to time, is always on top of it. We were crazy enough in this weather to request the patio and he checked in on us a couple of times, brought us water and turned on the fans. Thank you for your amazing service always Nathan.“

My husband convinced me to give this place another try. I went with him a few weeks ago and got the mixed bowl. It was delicious. A week after that, I tried their breakfast buritto. Also delicious. Therefore, I have decided to change my original review from 2 stars to 5 stars.

I decided to form my own opinion after reading all the mixed reviews. The 2 women who prepared our food were pleasant, but the male who rang us up gave the vibe he would rather have been anywhere else but there. I ordered the mixed burrito, and my man ordered the supreme quesedilla. The food looked good, but that's as far as the positive goes.The flavor of the meat was ok but full of gristle, which turned me off. The beans had no flavor. The guac was a fake puree with a strange taste. It's disappointing for sure.“

“I came in late like 30min before close & most places would be pissed but they were amazing, helpful & made me feel welcomed even at such a late hour. Daphne was who helped me & I’ve never been taken care of with such care & above & beyond service. She was amazing & even hung out with my service dog for a little while so I could use the rest room. And being in a wheelchair it was easy to get around & comfortable to get under the table to eat. I just had a great experience & will continue to go back to this location! I recommend everyone to check them out!“
