“I just randomly saw this place. Having no clue what this Mexican food joint was all about. Luckily my Spanish is just okay enough, that I figured it was a vegan place. And the nice young lady at the register confirmed that for me. She even helped me to navigate what the faux meats were made from. As a meat eater myself. Sure the carne asada and el pastor didn't really taste like the actual meats. But close enough for me to still enjoy. Though, vegan Mexican food still sounds blasphemous. But I promise you it's not.“

“Cafe Zamora is a favorite of the locals in the area! There are always customers in the restaurant. Service is excellent and staff is very friendly! Food is delicious and always hot! Chips and salsa are always served and always fresh. Salsa has just enough heat. No alcohol but sodas are very generous in size. Pictured is a plate with 3 tacos, rice and beans and the other is one taco, a cheese enchilada with rice and beans. This is one of our favorite 'go to' restaurants.“

“The food was decent, but 24dlls for one small chile relleno and a soggy disintegrated enchilada with a side of rice and beans and a drink seems overpriced. The food was a little bland, and suases were weak. Overall, a good experience eating here, i would have given 3 stars on the food, but the free chips and salsa helped. Hate leaving a restaurant hungry so if you are a big eater like me look somewhere else,staff was very friendly and the place was clean for me it was just the bland food and the portions.“

“I have passed this place many times in my travels and went to a lot of places nearby. I had never heard of this place and as it turns out I have been missing out. One of my co-workers went here and told me that I need to try it out as it is legit. Who am I to argue? I went and checked it out and went with his recommendations. I tried the signature toasted taco in corn or flour and an original taco with a side of rice and beans. Their rice and beans taste very traditional and I like them very much. The toasted taco stole the show and was my favorite with carne asada with cilantro, onions, and guacamole sauce, the original was good as well. I will go back and try the other meats and styles in the very near future. Lol. Overall this is great taco place with traditional great music and food. Try it out yesterday!!“

“Family-owned gem serving authentic Michoacán-style tacos! Clean restaurant with friendly service, though a bit hard to find (corner of strip mall with no building sign).
Had carnitas and barbacoa tacos - generous meat portions, delicious tortillas, and excellent salsa selection. The pickled jalapeños were perfectly salty. These are honestly the best tacos I've had in Phoenix! The ribs looked amazing too - definitely coming back to try other meats. Truly authentic flavors that transport you to Michoacán.

“Ok, the food is amazing. We have only done pickup/delivery so not sure about how it is to dine in. I will say about half the time we get the wrong order in the bag, but on God it is always delicious, and it's great value for your money so no complaints“

“I was out and about and really hungry for lunch and I was nowhere near [my usual ] so I thought OK I’ll try this one. It is awesome. I had their ordinary hardshell taco with hamburger. It was probably a dollar more than I’m used to paying for drive-up, but when it came… It was awesome. The meat was hot. The taco shell was hot. The condiments were fresh, and they included a few chips with chopped lettuce, tomato, and cheese on the side. Definitely a value really tasty. I will absolutely try some of their other items.“

“I got carne asada, carnitas, al pastor and grilled chicken street tacos. The grilled chicken and al pastor were both decent 3/5 * The carne asada was pretty good 4/5* The carnitas were fantastic 5/5* Some of the best, if not the best carnitas I’ve ever had. The carne asada was longer strips and not as diced as I’m used to but I can appreciate that it wasn’t overly fatty and full over those bites you have to spit out. I actually didn’t get a single bite of meat that was inedible throughout my whole meal. The salsas were all pretty good as well. It wasn’t just bland red or green sauce but actually had good flavors. The horchata was decent as well, not the best I’ve had but very adequate. Customer service was fantastic. The lady in the front made me feel welcomed and not like a nuisance even though I asked for multiple things on the side and kept asking her for more and more. Her smile was everything and made my night better. Now that is customer service“

“Thisbplace has been here a long time. I always liked their food, and they have .50 tacos. I think its for their steamed tacos. I've only been disappointed like once or twice in my whole time eating and coming here. I put a 3star for the atmosphere because it does get pretty warm and sticky during the summer months but other than that there's a pretty good number of seats and it's pretty quiet. They people are very nice 👍“

“I came in late like 30min before close & most places would be pissed but they were amazing, helpful & made me feel welcomed even at such a late hour. Daphne was who helped me & I’ve never been taken care of with such care & above & beyond service. She was amazing & even hung out with my service dog for a little while so I could use the rest room. And being in a wheelchair it was easy to get around & comfortable to get under the table to eat. I just had a great experience & will continue to go back to this location! I recommend everyone to check them out!“

With the rice and beans. They rotate the flavors of their agua fresca, they have melon, strawberry, Jamaica, pineapple. So far I have tried strawberry and pineapple, real fruit and it quenches your thirst!
Overall it’s a good price for everything. I plan to return to try more items“

“I enjoyed the pastor taco with piñas, it was tender and had great taste. The birria was my next favorite and the asada was good. I would probably order pastor or birria only next time. They have a salsa bar that has salsa verde, salsa rojo, cilantro & onions, cucumbers. The restaurant is a bit small but it was busy so no problem with seating. The staff were friendly and the order came out quick. I wouldn’t drive out of my way for this spot but I would stop again if I’m in the area.“

“First of all, service is a bit slow today, but the Birria Ramen was well worth the wait. With a Carajillo drink in my hand, I was chowing down on this delicious soup like no other. The noodles are tender, the beef cooked to perfection, and soup base delicious and flavorful.

This lunch was a belated birthday lunch with my mom, and hanging with my sister and her husband was fun. The only person missing was the love of my life (wife), but she was as busy as a bee at work.

You can never go wrong with any item on the menu. I highly recommend the ramen and tacos.

I ordered some churros, but the weekend PIR crowd cleared them out. I wanted to tear up and was only consoled by the fact I could come back and eat again. :)“
