“There were 18-20 of us who called for seating. Not only were we accommodated, but truly welcomed approximately 1 hour later. Our server, Josh, went out of his way to make sure our first visit was outstanding. The food was delicious, served in timely fashion and plentiful. Thank you Josh & staff for such a great experience. “Cafe Zamora is a favorite of the locals in the area! There are always customers in the restaurant. Service is excellent and staff is very friendly! Food is delicious and always hot! Chips and salsa are always served and always fresh. Salsa has just enough heat. No alcohol but sodas are very generous in size. Pictured is a plate with 3 tacos, rice and beans and the other is one taco, a cheese enchilada with rice and beans. This is one of our favorite 'go to' restaurants.“

“The food was decent, but 24dlls for one small chile relleno and a soggy disintegrated enchilada with a side of rice and beans and a drink seems overpriced. The food was a little bland, and suases were weak. Overall, a good experience eating here, i would have given 3 stars on the food, but the free chips and salsa helped. Hate leaving a restaurant hungry so if you are a big eater like me look somewhere else,staff was very friendly and the place was clean for me it was just the bland food and the portions.“

“Thisbplace has been here a long time. I always liked their food, and they have .50 tacos. I think its for their steamed tacos. I've only been disappointed like once or twice in my whole time eating and coming here. I put a 3star for the atmosphere because it does get pretty warm and sticky during the summer months but other than that there's a pretty good number of seats and it's pretty quiet. They people are very nice 👍“

“First time here, we are coming from Surprise. The food taste was great, I ordered 4 tacos and a torta de pierna. My wife ate the 3 tacos, cabeza???, pastor, milanesa, birria. The cabeza taco had lengua in it, I would not ordered again, the pastor came with pieces of pineapple, it was good, the milanesa was really good, but the birria that was really good, great taste. The torta was pork pierna, it was really good, great taste and the bread was really good. The salsa bar (toppings) was dirty, it was no fresh toppings it looks like it needed some attention. The service was also good. Overall, I can’t wait until the open the one in Surprise. I will be coming in for sure.“

“I usually come every Tuesday and Thursday for chilaquiles for breakfast! It's been fantastic giving this place a chance. They're authentic chilaquiles, the portion is just right, and the price is great! I've tried them at Old Pueblo, and they literally don't compare to Mariachi's. We've had the same girl in charge of the drive-thru a couple of times. Her service is unprofessional, and she's rude. But the style and flavor of their dishes are delicious.“

Had carnitas and barbacoa tacos - generous meat portions, delicious tortillas, and excellent salsa selection. The pickled jalapeños were perfectly salty. These are honestly the best tacos I've had in Phoenix! The ribs looked amazing too - definitely coming back to try other meats. Truly authentic flavors that transport you to Michoacán.

“I love Taco Tuesday here. Ordered 4 tacos with 3 different beef (asada, ground, and shredded). Amazing for only $2.25 each. All had lots of beef on em and the hard taco was fried there and hot. I really enjoy getting my own carrots and salsa. To top it off, the salsa verde (green) was fabulous and they even gave chips with the taco and the chunky red salsa was great.

With the rice and beans. They rotate the flavors of their agua fresca, they have melon, strawberry, Jamaica, pineapple. So far I have tried strawberry and pineapple, real fruit and it quenches your thirst!

“I absolutely love this place! From the very first visit, it stood out as one of the best Mexican restaurants around. They use real avocado in their guacamole, which is such a treat! Even though there might be a bit of a wait, it’s totally worth it because the food is always fresh and delicious.
Over time, they’ve gotten faster, but the quality remains top-notch. The customer service is consistently friendly and welcoming. My husband and I usually go through the drive-thru, and while we had one minor mix-up with an order, they handled it quickly and kindly, which we really appreciate.
One of the things I love most is that they let you choose your meat for many dishes. For example, my husband’s favorite is the carne asada fries, which come with delicious guacamole and a variety of meat options. He also loves the three flautas with beef, and those are fantastic too. And sometimes, I’m tempted to try the chicken version of the carne asada fries, which is rare and awesome.
I personally always go for the five rolled chicken tacos, which are loaded with delicious toppings, like guacamole and fresh salsa. You can choose between green or red salsa, and they’re always delicious, though they can be a bit spicy, so definitely test them out first!
I’ve also tried the potato tacos with rice and beans, and they’re beautifully made and incredibly tasty. I always crave those potato tacos!
My husband has also tried the birria, and that’s delicious too. We can’t wait to explore more of their menu.
The only thing I wasn’t as keen on was the chilaquiles, as they didn’t include cheese, and I’m used to having cheese on them. But overall, the experience is fantastic!
All in all, it’s always a pleasure to eat here. We go about once a week, and that speaks volumes about how much we enjoy it. Highly recommend it if you’re in the mood for authentic, delicious Mexican food!“

“First time here for dinner, and ordered the chimichanga (chicken) with rice and beans. It was quite good, and a huge portion for the price. I liked the beans and rice. The chimichanga was full of tender chicken. They placed a bed of pico de gaio (spelling?) and lettuce with guacamole and sour cream. I couldn’t finish it, and took more than half of it home. To drink I had a fountain Coca Cola that was refreshing. While waiting for my order they had a side station of condiments, and I sampled the pickled carrots that had a spicy 🌶️ kick; and some cucumbers. It reminded me of a traditional restaurant back in Milwaukee by the name of El Cabrito 🐐. I had a relaxing time enjoying my dinner. The dining area is clean and has ample seating inside and outside. Bathrooms are clean, and there’s ample parking. Quite a few came in to grab ‘To Go’ orders. There were a few Uber eats; and the drive thru too. It’s 24/7 here.
