“We ordered our wedding cake with Fortuna and were extremely pleased with the outcome. Working with Luisa was easy and she made sure to help us stay within our budget. The cake tasting was super helpful as well to figure out the flavour and icing we wanted. Also they were super generous in adding flowers to the cake that matched my wedding flowers. Luisa also personally delivered the cake for a small price all the way to Pitt Meadows so that she could make sure it arrived safely. The guests loved the cake as well! “This place is always very busy, and it's well justified. If you can forgive the lack of parking spaces, it is worth any walk in the rain. Today, my friend and I had their salted caramel cake and it was basically like eating a fluffly, creamy, absolutely decadent cloud. It was one of the best cakes I have ever tasted.“

“If you have been looking for a fantastic bánh mì and Vietnamese coffee then congratulations, you've found it. Aunties is definitely the spot! The price point is great, especially for the bánh mì and drink combos, but more importantly, it's absolutely delicious! “This is our first visit to your store. We picked up: red pepper crostata, carrot cake, large Chicken Pot pie, Merry Berry pie and a Caramel Macchiato icebox.
I called the Burnaby store this morning and a lovely lady set aside a Merry Berry pie for me despite it being busy. 🙏🏽 We really appreciated this. With a newborn, we didn't have time to place a pie earlier. Our neighbours really love your pies and shared 2 kinds with us on Halloween (including the Caramel Macchiato cheesecake).
You have a lovely store and nice employees. Prices are on the higher end for pastries and pies.

There was a bit of confusion around the Caramel Macchiato because we asked the lady for the CM cheesecake and were instead given a CM icebox. We only realized this when we were sitting outside in the car.
Just a bit of feedback for the store employee:
If the CM icebox isn't an option listed on your website (yes we checked again), it would be good to clarify if the customer wanted the CM cheesecake or CM icebox. Initially we wanted to return it but we didn't feel great about it likely being tossed out. So we'll give the CM icebox a try. Overall still a good experience given the customer service during the initial phone call. We look forward to trying the other goodies when we get home.“

“Small Victory Bakery never disappoints no matter what location you choose to go to. Their drinks, snacks and food are always consistently tasty and fresh. My favorite is their almond croissant. It is definitely entertainment for your taste buds. Staff are always well prepared, quick and kind.“

“The premium Ube cake is the way to go! It deserves a spot being one of the wonders of the world. It is light, fluffy, airy, and full of flavour. It’s like biting into a cloud of bliss! Also tried the Ube chiffon cake but it was mainly a buttercream tasting cake which is not as good as the premium Ube cake but still good. The cakes are well decorated and a beautiful purple color. “It's Cobbs. Cobbs has yummy bread, having never been to this location before and being fairly new to the area it was a bit tricky to find. The bread as always was yummy, the bagels are decent. I wish the treats weren't quite so pricy but it's probably good I don't eat 2 or 3 a day and that helps.“

“Amazing price on seconds and day-old bagels. Other reviews here don't seem to realize this is a industrial site, factory outlet. They sell the stuff that might not meet wholesale quality at massive bargain. So yeah they are sometimes not cut all the way through and yeah if you're taking pictures outside a factory people are going to assume you're some kind of city/work safe inspector and want to help you find what you need.

They also have other interesting bread-related products but I come here for the bagels. Please don't tell your friends about PBF.“

And it just goes to show what exceptional customer service you can always count on when you go to JJ Bean. My mother had pre-ordered a cake and paid in full, but forgot her membership card for the discount. I called and asked Jenifer if we could process a refund for the discount. She initially offered a store credit for the difference, but when I picked up the cake, she told me she had checked with her manager, and they could refund the difference back to the original card.

I am extremely grateful for her proactive and helpful attitude. My wedding cake in 2013 was also ordered here, and the quality and taste remain consistently excellent. Although the prices are getting higher, the excellent service quality maximizes customer retention.“
