We ordered a fettuccine with shrimps, an avocado salad croissant, and a cheese pressed burger with double meat. Everything was so good, especially the burger! It was grilled just right. For dessert, we ordered a tiramisu cake to share. Really love the chilling vibe here.“

“We ordered our wedding cake with Fortuna and were extremely pleased with the outcome. Working with Luisa was easy and she made sure to help us stay within our budget. The cake tasting was super helpful as well to figure out the flavour and icing we wanted. Also they were super generous in adding flowers to the cake that matched my wedding flowers. Luisa also personally delivered the cake for a small price all the way to Pitt Meadows so that she could make sure it arrived safely. The guests loved the cake as well! “A nice little Vietnamese sub place tucked away in a small parking lot in Central Burnaby. Ordered a few special banh mi sandwiches and tried the sausage rolls here.

The banh mi is very filling. Nice amount of pate and butter and nice bun as well. A bit salty with the soya sauce but overall really tasty. The sausage roll was nice too, very large, but more of a pork based sausage roll. I liked both and glad I gave this place a try.

Also ordered cheese buns which I used to like but lately they have been giving me whole wheat cheese buns. Won’t be ordering those anymore. I can’t tolerate whole wheat so they just went to waste. Sad because the white ones were great! I also love their Nanaimo bars! Overall a great place!“

“The premium Ube cake is the way to go! It deserves a spot being one of the wonders of the world. It is light, fluffy, airy, and full of flavour. It’s like biting into a cloud of bliss! Also tried the Ube chiffon cake but it was mainly a buttercream tasting cake which is not as good as the premium Ube cake but still good. The cakes are well decorated and a beautiful purple color. “We had booked the full afternoon tea experience for a high tea bridal shower and it was amazing! Kevin and Sue did an amazing job with set up and take down and the food and tea was amazing! We had a list of food allergies for certain guests and they were able to accommodate easily. Communication was amazing overall. The cutlery, tea cups, plates and towers were better than expected! Guests loved the details and I would highly recommend and book again when the occasion arises!“

I did not like how it crumbled as I ate it, which felt a bit unpleasant going down my throat. We also tried the Triple Cheese Toast, Molten Cheese Tart, and BBQ Pork Buns. They didn’t particularly stand out, but were tasty.“

“For now, one of the Tim Hortons that still retains some of the feeling of what it once was. However, the restrooms are the same story: always dirty and looking like they've never been properly cleaned.
I honestly hope that one day all Tim Hortons will be back to how they were before, super clean and with neat and totally friendly staff.“
