“Just tried this place for the first time, the price point is pretty affordable for the amount of food you get. The food was delicious, I was looking at the staff preparing an online order of a wrap and now I want to try it too. The place is nice and cozy. I just had a bit of trouble hearing the serving staff but other than that I'm very satisfied, will return when I can!“

“Had a delicious platter with my husband almsot 2 weeks ago. The girls there are hardworking and quick on their feet to serve to the customers.
The tables were a bit dirty and I think after every customer they should clean it immediately, however, no complaints on the taste, quality and portion size of the meal!“

I have been ordering from this place for years, I understand with the inflation and everything that they have the price increase, and I'm OK with that, but I'm not OK with the portion size. I still do love the food is always consistent with flavor, but definitely not happy with a portion. The meat had very little amount in there, And I was gonna charge two dollars for extra hot sauce, which I'm OK paying, but the container was so tiny“

“I've been to many Pakistani restaurants but Karakoram Restaurant stands out for its authentic flavors and generous portions. The karahi was spicy and savory, and the basmati rice was fluffy and fragrant. The staff were friendly and attentive and the prices were very reasonable. I'll be back for more of their delicious dishes!“

“I’ve been coming here for the past 3 years and have always considered it one of the best donair places in New Westminster. That’s why I was excited to visit the new location today.

Unfortunately, the experience was disappointing. The donair was cold on the inside and the meat was quite dry, which is not the quality I’ve come to expect from this place.

I truly believe that when a business grows from a small location to a bigger one, it’s because customers love its taste, quality, and consistency. Those are the standards that made people keep coming back.

I’m giving 3 stars because of the many good experiences I’ve had over the years, and I will give it another try. I sincerely hope this was just an off day. Growth should create more happy memories for loyal customers, not disappointment.

“One of the best donairs I've had in a while, I ordered a mix lamb and beef. The donair was wrapped tightly with fresh and very delcious meat and vegetables. The restaurant was very clean and had a nice asethic. Very kind service as well.

There wasn't any music playing, which is kinda nice actually but I do enjoy being exposed to some middle eastern music every now and then.

“I had a donair date here the other day. My chicken donair and fries were yummy. I did notice my meat came from the back so they must have heated it up. It didn’t bother me. It was still yummy. The owners are kind and professional. It’s a basic place, very regimented, owned and run by a cute couple. They have their own technique as to how much ingredient goes into each donair or plate which I’m okay with. They do give one napkin with each meal but it’s not a big deal, get up and go get more if needed. The napkins are right up at the front. If one wants certain extra toppings then ask for it- plain and simple. I’ve gone and ate here several times with no issues. Quite tasty each time and I appreciate the owners working hard and hustling everyday.“

Ordered a variety of delicious appetizers aka meze platter and the Fehsenjun stew (pomegranate molasses and walnut) with the tahdig (crunchy rice). Everything was AMAZINGLY DELICIOUS! “A great late-night option for wraps and platters, my personal preference.

Chicken/Lamb/Beef platters are $18.49 each, and my portion was happily hefty when I picked it up in person versus ordering via DoorDash/Uber Eats. It comes with Greek salad, 2x domaldes, 2 potatoes, rice, and a heap of meat that gets covered in 2 sauces of your choice.

I also ordered a side tabbouleh that I wish was more dominant with parsley, but it’s still decent, and quite filling with the extra quinoa.

The location was super clean, and the customer service was sincerely warm and friendly. Not sure what’s with all the negative reviews, but in my opinion, if you enter with a smile, you’ll get served with smiles in return.
