“I've eaten Peninsula Pizza and Keating many times. Those are good pizzas, especially Keating. But Villages is truly better. Every few months I go back to the other two, just thinking I may have been wrong, but every time I do, I'm reminded that Villages is better!“

“I consider myself a pizza fanatic, and my range of great pizza extends to legends like Di Fara, Johns on Bleeker St., Kestes, Spumoni Gardens, Gino's of Long Beach, Frank Pepe's in MA, Regina's in Boston, and some greats in Chicago that I can't remember off hand.

This pizza was a solid NYC 7.6. I had the meat lovers and it was well balanced, with all the flavors standing out. It had a very nice Italian seasoned meatball, crispy bacon, large pepperoni slices (I prefer the smaller kind personally). I think the total flavor of the pie was lacking a cohesion that would elevate the pie. The pizza was cooked just right with minimal flop and a perfect undercarriage. It had a pleasant amount of red sauce that also was nice and garlic-ie. The cheese was not over done and while it has reg and fresh mozzarella, it don't over power the pizza given all the other flavors on it.

I will definitely go back next time I visit and try a different pizza. I definitely recommend this place. Not only because of the pizza but because the staff were great going above and beyond to help this poor tourist enjoy there pizza. (It's a take out only establishment FYI).“

“Holy artichoky! We’ve tried a lot of pizza places in Victoria and this has got to be one of the best. Our picky toddler even ate two slices! Not to mention the easy ordering, low delivery cost, and fast service. We just finished and already can’t wait to order again.“

Pizzas. It’s a decent place for a slice or two and I’d certainly return for that, but it is not remotely the same quality as Mad Greek. So, I am dumbfounded that Local is rated 4.8 and Mad Greek 4.5, and they are not even remotely close in quality. Something’s wrongs with that picture.“

However with Domino's I'm just sad I didn't change pizza restaurants sooner! Way better quality pizza! Good prices, the delivery tracker and SMS notifications are just on point. “I came with my 2 and 4 year olds - who are not normally fun restaurant companions - and had the best time ever! Not only was our pizza delicious, the staff were super friendly and even gave my boys pizza dough to play with while we waited for our food. we then watched the food being made. What a great place!!!“

“Okay this is my first time leaving a review this place is really amazing and I'm not just saying that the staff and the manager are great the food is pretty damn good specially the donors cuz usually I go for the pizzas cuz their pizzas are phenomenal and whatever you guys ask for they do it up for you I've been with the gorge one for 6 plus years off and on and now I'm at the quadra Street and the staff is really nice there too. I think a lot of people should try out this place the one on quadra Street and Gorge and you're really get bang for your buck I noticed even their pastas really good too and they have delivery or you can go pick it up and they have pretty good prices too. “Ordered a medium deluxe Hawaiian pizza, wings and sweet bread. Delish pizza. The crust was perfect, crisp not crunchy, but tender and flavorful. There was a nice amount of pineapple, ham and cheese. It was a really tasty pizza and it wasn't too greasy either. I never tried the wings but hubby said they were really good and the sweet bread was divine. “Edit: Someone got back to me way faster than I expected after the first call, the next day the owner called and started looking into it right away. The refund went through today, turns out it was just an issue between the two banks and the holiday totally not on Villages and they were amazing about communication after the initial interaction.Original: I’ve ordered here before and the pizza is pretty good but I put in an order back on December 20th a little late in the evening and was called and told my order couldn’t be completed because there was a high demand and they didn’t have enough delivery drivers to get it to me. I was okay with that because they called pretty soon after and I had time to make other plans for dinner. It’s been over a week and the charge was still on my account the charge wasn’t cancelled when it was still pending. I called and the person who answered had no idea how to fix it and all they could offer was to take my name and said I would get a call in a few days.“

“We love everything about this Romeo's location. The food is just excellent, friendly service, and you feel like you really got your money's worth.

I always order the spinach pizza, which is delicious, but honestly, I've never had a bad meal at Romeo's.

It's a comfortable place with plenty of seating, almost all booths, which I like, and is in the (outdoor) shopping mall. It is bright and comfortable and excellent value for your money.

“All three of my room mates and I used to order from Athena's about 25 years ago but I had to move out of town for work. When I got back to Victoria, these incredible guys were the first place I called for the "moving back" dinner for all my friends who helped me that day. The chef at Athena's makes the best foot long donairs I've ever tasted anywhere. Every donair is stuffed full of meat and the herbs and spices will send you to the moon. "No Lettuce or Tomato Just Extra Onion" is my fav and their sauce drizzled over the meat is just phenomenal. I am a pretty big guy and their donairs are the size of my forearm but the flavors are mind blowing. Every Greek salad is made when you order with so many fresh delicious ingredients they need to use a domed lid to contain it all. Once you add their homemade one of a kind dressing, you will take your taste buds to another world. I often enjoy the awesome Greek salad alone as a meal, with a massive dinner plate sized piece of their heavenly garlic toast. I recommend Athena's to all my buddies and pass out their cute little menus because they fit right in your wallet for easy ordering when your racing home in traffic. The people working there are friendly and take care to make your eating experience a hit. Last winter during a snow storm, I ordered a donair and salad before I headed home from an appointment down town. Everything was hot, fresh and ready to go when I arrived, but a person in training forgot to add my donair sauces to my bag. I phoned them right away to see what time they closed because the snow was coming down really hard by the time I got to my place at Mt Doug. After I explained that my sauce was missing from my order bag, the wonderful owner who answered the phone, personally sent her delivery man all the way to my home through the snow, because she wanted me to stay home where it was safe from the storm. That was so incredibly nice, because I am disabled and she was worried about me driving or possibly slipping in the snow. Wonderful people and incredible food so I hope everyone will give them a call.
