We ordered a fettuccine with shrimps, an avocado salad croissant, and a cheese pressed burger with double meat. Everything was so good, especially the burger! It was grilled just right. The cake tasting was super helpful as well to figure out the flavour and icing we wanted. Also they were super generous in adding flowers to the cake that matched my wedding flowers. “A nice little Vietnamese sub place tucked away in a small parking lot in Central Burnaby. Ordered a few special banh mi sandwiches and tried the sausage rolls here.

The banh mi is very filling. Nice amount of pate and butter and nice bun as well. A bit salty with the soya sauce but overall really tasty. The sausage roll was nice too, very large, but more of a pork based sausage roll. I liked both and glad I gave this place a try.

Also ordered cheese buns which I used to like but lately they have been giving me whole wheat cheese buns. Won’t be ordering those anymore. I can’t tolerate whole wheat so they just went to waste. Sad because the white ones were great! I also love their Nanaimo bars! Overall a great place!“

“Visited Bakestone brothers with the Too Good To go app. I was pleasantly surprised to find this place tucked away on Winston Street in Burnaby. It has a lot of seconds at really inexpensive prices. The products are still 2 to 3 days before their expiry dates. I usually freeze a lot of bread so it wasn’t a problem for me. I got bagels, tortillas, pitas, and naan. All of it was fresh and delicious. There was not only Bakestone Brothers products. I recall there being Silver Hills bagels and Bakestone Brothers organic bagels. The other name brand was lesser known to me. The tortillas had an expiry date of December 27. Overall, this is a great place to go if you’re looking to buy a large variety or amounts of breads.“

“We had booked the full afternoon tea experience for a high tea bridal shower and it was amazing! Kevin and Sue did an amazing job with set up and take down and the food and tea was amazing! We had a list of food allergies for certain guests and they were able to accommodate easily. Communication was amazing overall. The cutlery, tea cups, plates and towers were better than expected! Guests loved the details and I would highly recommend and book again when the occasion arises!“

Coffee and teas lattes are actually reasonably priced but pretty much everything's ng else is definitely pricey. Some items are ridiculous priced nearly double for same exact item from superstore . Eg hagan daaz ice cream is 9 dollars . They do have a good produce section . Whole foods you shop for quality not price .“
