“We recently moved to Campbell Rive on Sept 1st and my sister ordered food for all of us working unloading the truck. The food was absolutely delicious! It was a lot of things I'd never had...the homemade dumplings were huge and flavourful and the glass noodle dish was so yummy. There was a savoury chicken dish and spicy scrumptious beef dish. Plus creamy delicious cheesecakes...a variety, plus some refreshing flavoured drinks. It was just what we needed! Everyone had so much more energy to finish the job and the drinks were so refreshing as it was such a hot day. I think the owner is the one that delivered it all and he was very friendly and polite. We'll definitely be going here again soon!”

“I love this little bakery. I live in Courtney. At least once a month I need to drive up and have an apple fritter.

Have tried a lot of their other products as well from breads to cookies and they’re all marvellous

I love the tuna tatatki, anything raw salmon and the takoyaki. I was a little disappointed with the bbq eel nigiri, so fatty and not worth the price. The rest of my experiences have been great there. Pick up or eat in, the restaurant is very cute and looks very japanese.”

“We were camping at Salmon Point RV Resort and decided to come here for dinner on our last night at the campground. The butternut squash ravioli was delicious. I told the staff that it took everything in me not to lick the plate! The ocean views were incredible and the interior of the restaurant was spotless and modern. We are so glad we went!

While some reviewers have mentioned not loving the ordering system, I actually found it very efficient. It’s a style you often see in larger cities, so it might just be new to some visitors. If you’re comfortable using a QR code and your phone, it’s a breeze. And if you’re not particularly phone-savvy, there are plenty of friendly staff happy to help. Our food arrived quickly and was excellent across the board.

The only thing I’d mention is that they are so popular it’s best to book your reservation a couple days in advance. We left it too late at had to catch a later reservation than desired.”

We had Levi serve us he is a great treat himself perfect server (good service is hard to come by you rock!). We followed up the dessert with delicious Ramen. Trusted our server to pair our meal with drinks, wine and beer were a great match. We have been here many times food and drinks are always great.”

“I had 2 issues. #1: I’m not a woman yet the first greeting I hear when the server arrives at the table is “Hi ladies.” Please teach your staff gender neutral language. You can just say Hello, tell us your name, and ask us if we’re ready to order. The “ladies” or “gentlemen” part of the greeting is not necessary. I guess our server decided it was more important to gender us than to provide good service. And I shouldn’t have to tell the server that I’m not a woman, I shouldn’t have to put myself in public where someone could overhear and I put myself in danger. #2: I asked for fries with my sandwich. I had to find my server and ask where they were. I also asked for no lemon and my water came with lemon. My friend also had requests missing and decided not to say anything because she is not confrontational.”

“It was our first time eating in this chain. We were driving through Campbell River and wanted to have a quick stop for a lunch. I was impressed with the cleanliness in the restaurant and , most importantly, how fresh all ingredients were. They have told us that everything is cut every morning , and no prep is used from yesterday. We ordered two bowl burritos. Delicious. Fresh. Ate inside. The customer service was friendly, and we were not rushed to pick what we wanted. Good experience definitely. Highly recommend.”

I paid, left & realized something was missing from my order. I phoned and it was deny deny deny. I added up what we had from the menu on their website & I was charged $10 too much.”

“Friends Stateside were bragging up this pretzel pizza and I had to give it a try.Well, this pizza was DELICIOUS.I called the order in, because I wanted to alter things a bit and the girl on the phone was very polite and patient.Sadly, they did lose our order, making it necessary for two trips to Merecroft to pick it up in our lovely CR traffic, but, I didn't have to do it, so it's no skin off.I sent the crabby husband instead.Once home with the pizza ( he had the pepperoni pizza ) well, he loved it. So, grumpiness aside ... the pizza was really good. I would recommend to anyone. And hey... to the staff at the Merecroft pizza place.. don't sweat it, the crabby husband is usually crabby.... it was nothing new. LOL”
