Salad rolls , Spring rolls, Pork sticky rice cakes, The golden Char, Vermicelli bowl! Nice and fresh and quick too!! Staff was very friendly and welcoming.. I highly recommend this place!!!”

We had Levi serve us he is a great treat himself perfect server (good service is hard to come by you rock!). We followed up the dessert with delicious Ramen. Trusted our server to pair our meal with drinks, wine and beer were a great match. We have been here many times food and drinks are always great.”

“The Fork and Arrow is a must go to. We stopped in for lunch and it was great! The service was quick and friendly. The food was absolutely delicious. I had the Deadly Aunty Burger which is a loaded patty on bannock. The bannock was fantastic. My husband had the classic breakfast which is exactly what it was - eggs (he likes them done hard), choice of meat, hashbrowns and toast. We have had their fish and chips before and, again, fabulous food. They have fish and chips every Monday after 4:30pm. We know what we will be eating on Mondays!!”

Aaaand, did you know that their pastries are all true sourdough which has been fermented for four days before they develop the pastries?🥐 ☕️ They don’t offer syrup, because they’re Nordic coffee shop not American style. This place is unique. Honestly, I had no idea and, this just makes us place even more special!”

“Painter's Lodge is a staple of Campbell River fishing and scenic views for over a century now. All establishments have their ups and downs but The Tyee Pub as Painter's restaurant is on a high for sure! The pub is lovely and rustic and we sat inside with warm sunshine streaming in along with amazing panoramic views of the Strait of Georgia. Their patio is large and comfortable and offers the same scenic views. Our server Brittany 🤩 was super personable and very attentive (other staff and manager were attentive too). Menu is not extensive but offers a range of pub staples and excellent fish and chips. Specials are available to change things up. Drink menu was solid and spicy cesear with beans very tasty. As a family we were looking for the perfect venue that offers great service, tasty food (empty plates say it all) and beautiful views so we nailed it by selecting The Tyee Pub! I will absolutely go back when in CR and make it our goto for pub comfort and wicked views! Well done all round and easily 5/5 👏”

“We were just down in CR for medical (from Port Hardy) and finally decided to stop in after hearing how amazing this place is from friends. Our server was Anna and she was absolutely incredible! We both ordered a clubhouse, my husband on the sourdough she recommended and myself on marble rye as that is my fav. He has worked in restaurants for 37 years and said this was probably the best clubhouse he had ever had. Being in the industry we were (non creepily!!!) watching the staff, every one of them were not only keeping busy the entire time, helping each other out, they all looked like they were having FUN. We will absolutely be back when we are down next! Keep up the amazing work and thank you Anna for being so friendly, allowing space for conversation while still ensuring you are taking care of all your guests. 😊”

“This intimate little restaurant was a real find 🥰on my way through Campbell River! The food was great and service attentive, friendly but unobtrusive. I have had Thai food in other places in Canada and other countries and these dishes were delicious and authentic. I had the Thai Papaya Salad which came with a nice amount of the house dressing, as well as the Kristy Special with tofu as my protein selection. Being vegetarian, it was great that I could select the protein for any dish; that is so rare! Usually I am stuck with one or two options, but here I could paid tofu with most of the offerings. I had also asked for medium spice and it didn't disappoint 😅. The vegetables were generous and were not overcooked, and came with a generous helping of rice noodles and the tofu. And the portions for both were large enough that I saved a portion to have another day. Even though the place was at capacity, service was efficient, friendly and timely. If you love Thai food, I definitely highly recommend this place in Campbell River! 😋🇹🇭”

“I was craving an ice cream cake and when I went out to get one today it started POURING outside. I really didn’t want to get out of my car, they said they don’t usually sell cakes through drive thru since you can’t see it and such. I said I would come in if I had to but I really didn’t care what it looked like.
They laughed about the rain and agreed to get us one. They even made sure at the window we didn’t need anything written on it (it’s really just for me.) There was two young men at the window and they were both in a fun mood and laughing at the rain with us.
It’s a little thing but I was having a miserable day/week and I really appreciate these two.”

Since I was pregnant with my 3rd baby I was regularly getting the meatball sub. I have seen Jay many times through out that time and every time I see him he is super friendly with a bright smile on his face. He has the best customer service I’ve seen in years, I highly recommend someone give this guy a raise or promotion. He has been a rockstar through every order I’ve had, he is efficient and nice.
