“I am satisfied with the price, taste, and quantity. I especially like the generous portion of each menu I ordered. I feel like most sushi restaurants' menus are a bit lacking in portions, but that's not the case at all here. Moreover, looking at the very clean bathroom, you can guess what the kitchen is like. Highly recommended.“

This restaurant, which I visited during my trip to Chilliwack, is a favorite of my kids because they love sushi. I ordered their favorite dishes, and they ate everything. I even enjoyed one dish so much that I forgot to take a picture of it. While I was eating, I noticed that many people were ordering to go. From the way they greeted the owner and chatted with each other, it seemed like there were a lot of regular customers.“

“Their authentic asian options is the winner, i normally get the lunch / dinner box for roughly $30 including tip and tax but the food quantity is usually more than what you expect them to give you, we ordered 2 dinner box and it came with sushi and what you see in this picture. Give them 5 star because they have been running cooking with diesel before, during and after covid pandemic, best choice for contractors and laborers who need lots of good stuff to keep up with their work!“

Also, I like the bright and comfortable atmosphere, clean and well-organized tables and comfortable seats.

“A modern Japanese environment makes you get into the mood to have a great sushi experience. Right off the back the chef greets his guests. I ordered the style A combo which includes tempura, maki rolls, nigiri, and sumo mono salad. All were great to the taste! As a bonus the chef threw in his own maki creation. Overall if you want to have a relaxing time with a hint of a real Japanese restaurant experience this is the place in Chilliwak to go.“

“This is my favourite sushi restaurant ever, I live in hope and will drive out just for the sushi. Excellent experiences in both eating inside the restaurant and ordering for take out. Today I ordered the jumbo crispy gyoza + a spicy tuna roll. The tuna is always so fresh, this is the only sushi restaurant I feel comfortable eating raw fish at. The jumbo crispy gyoza is a new favourite - the photo on the menu showed what looked like 3 large gyoza, so when I received 5 - I was thrilled! Delicious pork filling in a crispy coating ?and they’re huge! each one is the size of my fist.“

“Best sushi in Chilliwack!! The sashimi was delicious, the sockeye salmon was the best! Deep fried prawn gyoza was great,the Dynamite roll has lettuce in it which we loved. Ebi sunomono was big and very tasty. The chopped scallop nigiri I asked for very little mayo and it was so fresh and tasted great. The tuna maki had a large fresh piece of tuna in it, so good. Our new go to sushi restaurant for sure.

“We love Maru sushi- it’s one of our go to spots in Chilliwack for sushi! There are plenty of plant based options on the menu (though they could be marked a little more clearly) and the food is always delicious. Quick and dedicated service are the cherry on top! We love it here and are back often. Definitely try their yam tempura roll and the inari nigiri..! Those are for sure our favourites ?“
