“The best of the best! All 6 of us were blown away by the various appetizers, entrees, and desserts. The place merits a James Beard award. Waitstaff was amazing, too! One of my five best meals ever! Dining outdoors surrounded by a billion flowers was fun too. A most memorable experience. Shane and Gia were most attentive, informative and also memorable. Certain members of our party may need to consider attending Platelickers Anonymous meetings now.

Edit: 13 hours after our delicious dinner, we all returned for a 5 star high tea! We were greeted by the incomparable Shane and seated once again at the beautiful outdoor table we'd enjoyed the previous night. Our server Pilar was impeccably helpful and attentive. All 6 of us felt we'd enjoyed an extended perfect moment, relieved of our usual cares and travails. Thanks again!”

“My group of four truly enjoyed our evening. The food was the best we've had in a long time! From start to finish, the experience was fantastic and memorable. Excellent staff, service and food and the fireworks show truly was the icing on top. We even had a gorgeous view over the grounds to the water. We will definitely be back! “The best ice cream in the Cowichan Valley - it's the spot we recommend all our friends try. Always new flavours, and always delicious; including some I've never had before like pumpkin pie, carrot cake, and apple pie. Caramel crunch is a family favourite. We usually buy a scoop and then walk down to the trail at government wharf.

“We had an amazing treat at Ironworks Cafe & Creperie. So many tempting choices, both sweet and savoury. Three of us wanted to share two crepes, and asked if our choices could be cut into thirds. Renee plated the thirds individually with full garnishes. 🌟🌟🌟 We had the ‘Four Berries and Cream” (sweet) and the ‘Spinach, Artichoke & Brie” (savoury). Hmmmmm.
