Probably 30 pinball machines from every era. Impeccable service. Quality merch. Literally the only detractor is the fact that they only have 2 single washrooms, but this is likely due to the building structure and out of their control. I can hardly wait to go back, and encourage every visitor to Victoria to go.“

Our server (Aiden) was charming and knowledgeable and made the dining experience delightful. The restaurant is small and nested beside a Starbucks in a hotel, so the atmosphere could be a bit better, but the great food and service more than made up for it.“

“I was confused at first with what to order because what I first saw was for you to create your own pizza, Im not familiar with that thing since I just order whatever I can see on top of the cashier.

But the staff are very patient, polite and super kind. Im not so kind that day because I am feeling so tired and just want to eat. But they really made my day.

“We are quite happy with Boom & Batten. We love the food, the view as well as the atmosphere, for the most part. One of the issues is what makes my husband feel uncomfortable while we are trying to enjoy dining. The choice of music is not suited at all to fine dining. It is so unpleasant that my husband asks to leave as fast as we can & at times, he prefers another restaurant. We have mentioned it few times but nothing changes. Gentler music would enhance our experience considerably. The other disappointment is mine. I love the grilled cauliflower for either breakfast with two poached, for lunch with the beet & goat cheese salad. I enjoy it for dinner as well. The unfortunate part is that the portion I am served lately is barely more than half of what I was served a mere 6 mos ago. I am always left wanting more.“

“Cosmos Pizza in Tillicum is the real deal. The Spinach Special is the best pizza in town. So much flavor, tons of garlic and onion, just perfect. Their Cosmos Special is also amazing. And the crust? Best I’ve ever had. The CHEESY edge is actually ridiculously good.

But it’s not just the food it’s the people. This is a family-run spot, and you can feel the love. The guy always throws me a pop when I come in. He’s awesome. I honestly love this place and hope they stay in business forever. Every dollar here feels good to spend.“

“Dear Ricky, congratulations on the new franchise. Service was awesome, thanks Mark! A/C works great but I'm not a fan of the pizza dough, sorry. Maybe the dough was perforated too vigorously? Pizza dough is supposed to puff up and its that air inside that makes the crust melt in your mouth, good..! This dough is flat (especially in the center 2/3's of the pie.. it's like the cheese penitrate the dough preventing it from fully rising or imo properly baking. Trust me I'm not a crank, I'm serious, there's something wrong and it's probably nothing to do with the oven. I will try again in the future thanks.“

“We are visiting from Ontario and have been trying BBQ chicken pizzas all across the country, this one is the closest we have had to the best one at Diana’s Pizza in Hamilton. I’m partial to the barbecue sauce they use at home, but a real good wheel. Lots of toppings, nice and hot. Pretty nice guy at the counter, made me feel real welcome, anyway if you are in the neighbourhood and need a good pizza, you should try them.“
