“On our way up to Campbell River last week, we pulled into Weinberg's Good Food a local general store + grocery + café tucked behind the gas station by the Buckley Bay – Denman Island ferry terminal. ⁣ I call a lot of places “hidden gems,” but this one literally is! They’ve somehow fit local produce, unique imported products you won’t find in big grocery stores, locally crafted goods and a mini café to grab a drink and snack for the road, all into a cozy little space. ⁣ If you’re driving north toward the Comox Valley or Campbell River, take a quick pit stop to refuel (you and the car)!“

“Amazing products and service! Bought 2 pieces of cheesecake here - the lemon curd (recommended) and plain - and both are decadent!! Best cheesecake I have ever purchased from a store. And, the oatmeal raisin cookies taste like the ones one makes at home - and they were not overly sweet . Perfect. The service was friendly, helpful and kind. Will go back - when in the area - and look forward to the cinnamon buns next - they were already sold out for the day and we were there before noon!“

“I ordered iced venti matcha latte last time and they mistakenly made it hot drink, I was too shy to let them know so just drank it, but to be honest I hate hot drinks and always go for iced even in the winter season. But today I went in again and ordered the same thing and made sure they got the order as iced, explaining what happened with other girl last time. The girl named Lindsay said she feels sorry for what happened last time and that I could have asked for the new one and they would’ve replaced.
