“Joeys staff were friendly and efficient. The lounge was nice and open with big comfy booths. Now the food was amazing, the Cobb salad I had was just outstanding. Thanks guys! I’ll definitely be back.”
“This is a great place! Great food, great service, great people! Outstanding!”
“Great menu options of different sauces and type of meat for tonkatsu. Just a suggestion that they should display pictures of the food or put their menu on their store front window for display as I notice some people passing by not knowing what they offer as some people don’t know what tonkatsu is. After finish8ng my meal and waiting for my husband to get the car, I noticed some tourists walking by looking around to see if they could find the menu or something at the door but nothing was available.”

“I had a great dining experience at Toedam Korean Fusion BBQ. The portions here are impressively generous, making it one of the best value Korean restaurants I’ve visited in Vancouver. Every dish came out flavorful, well-seasoned, and freshly prepared.
The spicy marinated crab was rich and bold, the pork hot pot arrived sizzling with tender meat and savory broth, and the tteokbokki had that perfect chewy texture with a satisfying level of heat. Even the side dishes were delicious and thoughtfully made—fresh, well-balanced, and constantly replenished.
What really stood out, aside from the food, was the service. The staff were friendly, attentive, and quick to help with anything we needed. The restaurant is clean, organized, and the ordering system is easy to use, which made the entire experience smooth and enjoyable.
Overall, Toedam offers excellent flavor, large portions, and great service at a very reasonable price. Highly recommended for anyone looking for delicious Korean food with amazing value. I would definitely come back again! 🍲🔥”
“I visit this place often because the food is delicious, and the male servers are especially attentive and have great service sense. I just wish they had more lunch menu options — the limited selection is a bit disappointing.”
“We were greeted promptly by the owner , we loved the Mantu ,Kababs ( all kind ) , Ghabli Polo . I highly recommend Aria Afghan Kitchen to those folks looking for something different and totally delicious. … Excellent; will be back to try some more new dishes!” I wish I could give this place 10 stars. You walk in to warm, delicious, spiceful aromas and gorgeous décor. I will be going back often because I think this is my new favorite place.” Thank you for all .”

“Some of, if not the, best Chinese food I’ve had outside of China! I had the Minced Pork Glass Noodles, medium spice. It definitely had a kick, and was so absolutely delicious I will be dreaming about it for a long time. My friend had the chili wontons and enjoyed them. We were given free (I think lychee) jelly for dessert! Highly recommend this restaurant. The interior design is wonderful, and our server was great!”

“The service was great, fast and friendly. The server was attentive and made sure everything was okay.
The food was decent, not bad but nothing special either. Overall a good quick meal spot, mainly for the service and speed.”
“I happened to come across this restaurant and decided to give a try. Man, I was pleasantly surprised by the food quality and friendly service. The waitress recommended this seafood noodle soup and i trusted her recommendation and was very happy for the quality and quantity of this meal.”
“Jess’ Fine is anything but just fine. The appetizers were really good! Especially the whipped feta salad with the beets, I never thought I would’ve enjoyed those beets as much as I did. I loved their truffle fries and their ribeye steak too! Their service was exceptional too with Natasha taking care of us. I liked the vibe and overall experience here. Would come here again!”
“We 100% love this place! We came unexpectedly to John B’s for a bite to eat while running an errand in Coquitlam, and we are both SO happy with the food and the quality of service we received that I had to write a review.
We lucked out with the Valentine’s Day special SURF AND TURF for $125!!! We originally just came for a happy hour bite. There was another server who first attended us (forgive me, I didn’t catch her name), and she was AMAZING as well!
Jennifer took over our table and made us feel so comfortable and welcomed. She shared personal experiences about the menu, which we loved. After placing our order, we requested our steaks Chicago rare and rare. When they came out, they were unfortunately more well done than we asked for. As much as we hate complaining, we had to mention it. Jennifer handled it with such grace and immediately sent them back. Within 10 minutes, our steaks were returned cooked exactly the way we love them.
About 30 minutes later, Adam (the manager) came by to personally apologize for the mishap. With total professionalism and kindness, he said the words every customer loves to hear: “How can I make this better for you guys?”
We weren’t expecting anything at all, but he offered us a half lobster of course we took it!
Thank you to the staff at John B’s. You have 100% gained new friends, and we are more than willing to drive the hour just to come hang out again!”

“The monopoly games started again, I was prompted by the App to scan the tags/game pieces, but prizes of food cannot be redeemed in the App. Kind of stupidity as anyone could read what the prizes are.
McDonald's at Lansdowne/Barnet Hwy. is still my favorite stop, staff are nice, convenient location. Like best it has the Expresso coffee machine, not every location has it! Parking is so so, a little hard to get a spot on the weekends”
“The cashier at around 2:30am nov 26 helped me very well and professionally. She deserves recognition. I had an issue with redeeming a game day burger (said I already redeemed at diff location) and she resolved it by charging me a bit less (for the headache we both endured).
Also to my joy, the big mac and cheeseburger i ordered came out fresh, well made and tasty. Better than my other recent experiences at other mcdonalds locations. Thanks team”
“The food was great, delicious we ordered the family combos and dimsum was exquisite. Portions were big platters tasty
Friendly and professional service
Celebrated a birthday and they even gave us free noodles to believe for long life
Thank you for a wonderful experience”
“Sunday, April 7, 2024 My 1st time ordering at this location. My Server was Anna, an exceptional, experienced, attentive, Mature Lady with a great personality. I will definitely be back to see Anna!”

“I had no idea what a Poke bowl was so was a little iffy on ordering but I will be ordering again... soo good! I ordered a custom bowl with Spicy Salmon. large portions, fresh ingredients and tastes amazing. I ordered extra sauce and im glad as was lacking a bit orginally BUT that might be how they are and im just picky.”
“Such a great bakery! Finally quality treats worth the extra time at the gym! They are not like most bakeries now days that use excessive sugar and oil for cheaper flavour. This bakery makes everything from scratch and uses quality ingredients ... the only problem is they are a little too close to home....:) I have tried most of the items and have not had one that I don't love....eek”

“The service was good. The staff came by and was accommodating and helpful. I took my grandma here in her wheelchair and they brought us to a good table that was good for her. It is a small and cozy place. Not many seating. But was able to get a seat easily at opening time.
The food was good. Nice portion and was full and satisfied at the end of the meal. My grand liked her meal as well.”

“This restaurant deserves 10 stars.
The food is excellent and well prepared, I come with my family at least once a week and it never disappoints.
The tomato beef noodle soup is absolutely delicious, with flavours you cannot find elsewhere. The jellyfish appetizer is just as good, its refreshing and umami, the perfect balance.
I would passionately recommend this restaurant to anyone, the atmosphere is clean and comforting and the waitress is extremely respectful and polite.”
“This gem is a must try! The restaurant is a bit small but the food is pretty darn good. We loved everything from bibimbap, kimbap and most of all we loved the carbonara. Never thought we would enjoy carbonara in a Korean place but the chef apparently specialized in Italian cuisine in Korea. Daniel the chef is a genuinely nice guy and great with my toddler. Will come back again. I highly recommend this place!”
“I went to the Coquitlam Grill as a last-minute dinner idea since I was already in that area and was glad that I went there. When I arrived, I received a table right away, with the choice of a booth seating or one at the bar. I also saw seating that had small television monitors right up close for you to watch. I took a moment to look at their menu and carefully thought about what I wanted. Even though they serve breakfast all day, I ordered the Oceanic Platter. It came with calamari, a piece of breaded cod, panko shrimps, side of rice, a cup of coleslaw and a trio of dipping sauces that are tartar, tzatziki and chili. The calamari were crispy and well-seasoned to my liking on its own. The cod and shrimp were excellent and had no complaints about them whatsoever. The sauces were exuberant, and I found myself using them with every different seafood that was on my platter. The rice was also great, and I liked the fact that it had green onions on it. The restaurant has this antiquated aesthetic to it with the mild lighting and the bar-like interior design to it, yet a little sophisticated. The staff were very courteous and mindful of my needs. The service was very fast as well when they brought my food out right away. I hope to come back to the Coquitlam Grill very soon. I highly recommend anyone to pay their patronage to this restaurant, whether you in this city or are coming by there.”
“Friendly and helpful staff, great product selection, provided recommendations on smoothies and good customer service. Keep up the good work and kudos! Love the Coquitlam location.”
“Salma provided the best best service I have ever had. She talked to me for at least a half hour with a very genuine conversation. 1000% would recommend”

“After finishing my hearing test a few doors down I wanted to grab a coffee for my trip back to Maple Ridge. I went into a name brand store, was ignored and left. Then I spotted this gem. I ordered my usual black coffee and watched as someone actually ground the fresh beans and then made my coffee in a French press. I joked with them that that's how I make my coffee at home. I added a blueberry lemon scone and had a nice drive home. All 3 staff were a pleasure to deal with, and my snack was delicious.”
“Reviews brought me here.
Came on a Sunday around 3pm and it was quite busy. Still managed to snag a seat.
Staff recommended the EggNog Latte which was delicious and I tried the House-made Red Velvet which I savored every bite.
Good service, cafe was clean and nicely decorated. I'll be back for sure.”
“One of my favourite sushi places in the area! Service is always top notch and the staff are absolutely lovely. Plenty of different options for specialized rolls and such! Crazy boy roll is a top favourite for me. Best options for sashimi in the area instead of having to get full portions each time!”
“I recently discovered this magnificent sushi restaurant near my home. I've never experienced fresher sushi before. Their raw oysters are divine. And the sockeye salmon sashimi is unbelievable. My server (Rose) is a sweetheart who is friendly and polite. The music is a little on the loud side but the genre of the music is enjoyable. I'm going to make this sushi restaurant my regular place from now on.”
“Overall a great place, however they allow smoking on the patio right next to a door and sitting at the bar you get the horrible stench of tobacco every time the door to the patio opens. Really should not allow smoking on the premises.”

“The food is amazing and the presentation is 👍👍 Would highly recommend this restaurant!”
“I'm a regular. There's not many Ramen places in Vancouver area that is okay price and has broth made from scratch with no msg that leaves you dehydrated hours later. I come here every time I need to see my dentist on a monthly basis. You can drink the whole broth, and feel fine because it's made from scratch with khombu/natural msg/umami. Jinga sells Ramen for ridiculous $30/bowl, without extra Ramen. Here you get a bowl $21 +$4 for noodle refill, that's enough to leave your stomach full. Their pumpkin appetizer is also good, if you like spring a little sweet and crispy, give it a try.
They replaced the pork to tonkosu broth with chicken, that was the only downer, so they discontinued their tonkosu Ramen which was my favorite to order, but the new version isn't bad either. The noodles were nice and chewy”
“The teriyaki and other mains I’ve had are very good, but for me, it’s the side items like appetizers and special rolls. Everything has so much flavour even compared to other great restaurants. You have to try the jalapeño poppers, and get two orders, trust me! 10/10”
“A nice hidden nook of Coquitlam, a clean establishment which features delicious Korean Fried Chicken. Plenty of options, with bone-in or boneless chicken, Bao Buns, Rice Bowls, Burgers, and classic Korean and Western sides. Perfect for lunch or dinner at an affordable and low cost, and can feed groups up to 4 or more on bigger dishes for sharing.
Quality of food is always excellent and service is fast and professional and done with care. The staff are eztremely friendly and easy to communicate with and perform their job excellently. Wait times are relatively low and the ingredients are fresh and the food is cooked just right.
For payment they accept card & cash, and are order at location, pick up, or delivery with apps (Fantuan, SkipTheDishes, DoorDash, UberEats).”
“Mom and I got the combo with the chicken, biscuit fries, and waiting for tenders, and let me tell you, I was in a food coma within minutes 🤯excited to take a picture with my mom🤣. The service was fast and friendly, and the prices? 💸 Totally worth it! If you're a fan of not spicy food, you NEED to try Popeyes ASAP 🚀. Five stars from me, no question! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I've even ordered another tenders for takeout because their chicken is still soft and flavorful the day after😋😋 kudos to all team🫡”
“This is by far the best cafe/coffeehouse in Coquitlam, if not the lower mainland. Staff are friendly and accommodating, the food is amazing, fresh, and filling, and the coffee is also fantastic! And prices are also really reasonable! The atmosphere in this place is always friendly, and if you call for take out its ready in a timely manner, I work in the area at times and always come here for lunch if I'm there around that time 10/10 beanery, keep doing what you're doing ❤️”
“I haven’t really had the “in store” coffee selections so can’t comment on those but the fresh beans they sell are spectacular and the only coffee I Drink! I’ve tried almost all of their blends with my fav being Mexico and second fav being Ethiopia. Great friendly staff too”
“Easily one of the best pizza spots I’ve found in Coquitlam so far. The crust is the standout here — light, crisp, and just chewy enough that you keep going back for another bite. Their Hawaiian and Meat Lover both hit the mark: generous toppings, flavorful cheese, and meat that’s surprisingly not overly salty. The High Street fries is another winner, packed with flavor and really well balanced.
Overall, a seriously satisfying experience this place has officially become my go-to, and I’ll definitely be back for more.”
“Our fave sushi place! Fresh; great "special rolls" (Crazy Girl & Popcorn Roll 😍) & very friendly, attentive service. Reasonable $'s, too.”

“I liked the food , designed well and tasted great! Quick service ! 1 star out is for noise , may be because of many people . I don’t know, but I expected more calm and peaceful atmosphere. Anyways, I definitely come again ! Recommend pop-pop rolls ❤️♥️”

“Pasargad Restaurant offers amazing, authentic Persian cuisine. Delicious food, excellent appetizers and desserts, wonderful music, outstanding service, and a very kind, welcoming owner. Highly recommended — I’ll definitely be back! If I could give more than 5 stars, I would for sure. Truly the best!”
“I love the experience at this Tim Hortons. They started taking names for orders, which makes the experience feel so much more friendly. Some of the employees even go the extra mile to remember regular customer's names and their usual orders. It's such a warm and welcoming feeling when they greet you personally or already know what you had like, especially the one who mostly took my orders always has a very friendly smile and has too much patience while dealing with customers. The service is quick and efficient. and the staff are always friendly and kind. Great coffee, and amazing customer service.”

“Met for lunch with a friend at Gordon Ramsay Burger. I didn't expect anything but I was very impressed by the attentive service and the outstanding blue cheese burger I had. I will definitely go there again. My friend and I are considering always meeting for lunch there. If you have a good thing why change it. Looking forward to my next lunch.”
“Hailey, Ethan and Josh Josh are great. They really know how to make customers feel amazing. I came here all by myself and now I am left with more friends than I first got here. Then I went on a dating app and then found the love of my life. Then the next night I came here and went dancing and found another girl that was the love of my life, and then the other girl came in and found me and called me out, so I am starting from scratch. However, the staff were very supportive and then they taught me a big lesson in life about just sticking to one love of your life and that true love of your life that weekend.”
“Hello, I don't normally write reviews but as the service here was so good I thought it wouldn't hurt to write something
Today we had a very good dine-in with a very welcoming host team greeting us at the door with a friendly feeling when you first walk in. service was incredibly welcoming including the waitress, Maddy. she was very respectful and making us not feel rushed to order our food and guiding us with every question we had with a genuine answer when ordering.
The fries were delicious as always. and when our waitress had checked in on us she asked if we would like our bottomless re-fill. Not being able to deny as they were so good we said yes. though fries took a bit of time our waitress made it her top priority to make sure we were comfortable and got the re-fill. As we were finishing up our meals Maddy cleared off the table giving us a nice space to sit and talk.
over all a very good experience the service is truly welcoming and nice.”

“UPDATE FEBRUARY 27/2026: I was able to do takeout tonight at this very busy location and really glad we did. I tried the new location over in Burquitlam few weeks ago but now I know I will always come back to this location on North Road because the portions are very generous in comparison and it feels like I had a complete meal. I uploaded the most recent picture of today’s takeout and in all honesty it feels like it’s almost doubled the size as the Burquitlam location.
Update :. Thanks to Julia and the owner....wow. Words can't express how I felt so blessed by this location. They really go above and beyond to ensure top notch quality and service!!! The only issue I have is I live kind of far away. I wish I lived closer lol.
Sushi California takeout and as always..very good and consistent w all their locations. One of my favourite is the Korean chirasi don...definitely give it a try especially if like bimbimbop.”

“Excellent vendor! Their chimney cakes and cones filled with ice cream are absolutely delicious. I definitely recommend trying their new pumpkin-flavored ice cream — it's a must! Nate was fantastic. Even though it was quite busy and he was working alone, he managed all the orders with ease and professionalism.”
“We got 2 Banhmi Sandwiches (lemongrass chicken and the luncheon meats ones), one spring roll, and a tofu avo salad roll. It was some of the best I've had! Very authentic! What made the sandwiches so good was the bread. Incredibly fresh, tasty, crisp, but not a flaky mess.
The salad roll peanut sauce was savory, delicious, and the perfect pairing for the tofu. I could eat 5 of them, easy. They had excellent vegan options, a great atmosphere and friendly service. Highly recommend.”
“We had the farm burger $26 and fish sandwich $30.
I substituted the fries with salad for extra $2.50. They r both pretty good, but is on the expensive side. The fish sandwich, was good wish they put the Cole slaw on the side instead of inside the sandwich. The fish was good except because of the slaw, the fish become soggy and lots.of juice dripping. I have to washed my hand twice . It was quiet on a Sunday night. There was only a few table. The music wasn't too loud. And I like the decoration.”
“When you’ve finished dining at a restaurant and, after some time, start thinking about where to eat out again — this Korean restaurant will definitely be at the top of your list.
The Napa cabbage pancake is a rare find in Vancouver. It’s crispy but not greasy, with a fresh sweetness from the cabbage that makes it irresistibly good — you just can’t stop eating it.
The whole calamari is another standout. The batter is light and crisp, pairing perfectly with the tender squid inside, giving each bite a wonderful texture and depth. Once you start, you won’t be able to stop — absolutely a 12/10 recommendation!
Both the clam kalguksu and galbi kalguksu are excellent as well. The noodles are perfectly chewy, with the clam broth being light and refreshing, while the galbi broth is rich and full-bodied — ideal for those who love exploring deep flavors.
Prices are reasonable, which explains why it’s always busy with people waiting in line. If you haven’t been yet, it’s definitely a must-try!”
