Just a suggestion that they should display pictures of the food or put their menu on their store front window for display as I notice some people passing by not knowing what they offer as some people don’t know what tonkatsu is. After finish8ng my meal and waiting for my husband to get the car, I noticed some tourists walking by looking around to see if they could find the menu or something at the door but nothing was available.”

“Thank you for such amazin' food ToeDam!!! We give 5 ⭐️'s becoz the second we arrived at ToeDam we were greeted and offered us a table even though we haven't made a reso. She doubled checked if there's reso at 715pm. And they didn't, so we got lucky and got a big table for us. Nova was awesome from leading us to the table and gave us some time b4 placing an order. The tablet was informative and easy to place an order. We ordered the 2 person $97 combo and added $5 lettuce. (Which we find that it was not worth it for 4 piece of lettuce) PLUS, we had to order the DUCK... new on the menu. We ordered a lot of food for 2; but we know that we will save this for our lunch next day. The second the order was submitted our sides came out and BBQ dishes, Soy Bean Soup, Rice, and Duck arrived. Nova and staff was always on it and made sure if we had everything. Honestly, we didn't have to wait for anything. As you all know, there's many Korean BBQ restaurants in Coquitlam. We've tried a few, and tbh this is one we would come back to. Good reason for us to go to coquitlam to eat at ToeDam and grocery shop at HMart. MUST TRY and you won't regret it becoz you have Nova and their team. Great reasonable price for two and we will be back for the sous vide duck... Thanks again we will see you again!!!”

“Rhe best KFC I've had in the tri cities! Seasoning is perfect, chicken is tender and crispy, cheeky tebokki is absolutely delicious. We had the variety platter and although my friend has some food allergies, the server was able to help us decide which dishes would be safe and was able to instruct the kitchen as well. Friendly, informative, and attentive service too, we Will be coming back for this again.”

“Service is really good. Highly recommended. The meat in barbecue combo is nice- tender and tasty, especially the marinated pork and beef, though the portion can be more.

Tofu kimchi soup and the vegetable salad that came along with the barbecue combo were really good!

The portion of small Gamjatang is generous, though I feel the taste is average.

“My bf and I came here for dinner, and we shared the beer battered onion rings. It was pretty hot, so we had to let it cool down for a bit. But it wasn't overly battered, which was nice, and their sauce paired nicely with the onion rings. It was very tasty.

He had the blue cheeseburger. I'm not a fan of blue cheese, but he demolished it in a few bites. Which says a lot. He said it was pretty good, and the burger was very filling.

I had the hell's kitchen burger. It was huge! It was filling for sure, I had to take the rest of it home.

I came here to try for the experience. The overall experience was nice. The service was great and always checked in on us. Even filled my water to the top. I'll never be thirsty again, lol. I loved it!”

“What a GEM. This place has a solid menu and pretty authentic flavours considering the low prices. Others charge 150-200% more and that makes 0 sense in this economy. I had the Aglio Olio and it was a 9/10. Free garlic bread and a 25% discount if you follow on Insta. Seoyoung was a great server and was so sweet and helpful.

“It's a decent location, as the service is pretty good. My disappointment is whenever I order and ask for extra, it's not even what it should be, as I have worked fast food. Unfortunately, it's always so light and dry. So I have to ask for extra, extra, extra to get a decent amount of sauce on the meal.

Also, when I ask for extra napkins at this location, notice the plural word, I'll be lucky to get only one more.

When one is driving with food, two napkins doesn't cut it.

Also, napkins are not made by killing a bunch of trees either, that tale is so old. Just give some dang napkins.”

“This most recent visit sparked a memory of McD's of the 90's. My how things have changed. Back then, they had 6 tills open with lineups filling the entire till area. Nowadays, not so much. 1 till open, 4 self entry screens. I like that we can enter our own orders, less entry errors. Self-serve drinks. But even though the customer is doing half the work, the wait time seems longer than back in the day. I'm sure robots will replace all staff one day ?”

“This Church's Chicken in Coquitlam is one of my original go to fast food places to go. Open late and always fresh, I have been enjoying chicken, fries, gravy and jalapeno poppers here for decades.”

“Best drive thru EVER. EVERY👏SINGLE👏TIME👏 This staff has their game tight!! I have literally never had to wait more than 3 minutes in this drive thru. The ONLY McDonald's drive thru that actually functions how it was designed. Fresh food every time too. To management & staff you have no idea how much this is appreciated & underrated as a serious flex! I'm a travel nurse & always at McDonald's across BC and can say your drive thru wind the gold medal 👑👑👑”

“Honestly one of the cleanest and nicest looking McDonalds I've been to. A bit of a weird ordering area, but was fairly pleased. A burger was missed in my order, but it was quickly resolved.”

“Such a great bakery! Finally quality treats worth the extra time at the gym! They are not like most bakeries now days that use excessive sugar and oil for cheaper flavour. This bakery makes everything from scratch and uses quality ingredients ... the only problem is they are a little too close to home....:) I have tried most of the items and have not had one that I don't love....eek”

“One of the best places around. I had the tomato beef and tendon soup and the pork dumplings. Prices are very fair and what was a shock is that the tip percentage started at 10% which I've never seen in restaurants. That was nice to see they don't force a tip. I gave a 20% tip as the service was reflective of that. I recommend this small place to everyone.”

“I had one of the best mool naeng myun I have ever had in the Vancouver area at Cafe SoBahn. It did not have a meat slice, but who cares. The broth was close to perfection. Usually I drown the broth in vinegar and mustard, but not here.

The sign for the restaurant has a very hard to read font, very thin on a white background so it's easy to miss. I missed it. It is definitely more of a cafe than a restaurant, but boy that naeng myun was unbelievable”

I'm still thinking about it. We had the Som Tum, Ginger Shrimp, Drunken Chicken Noodles and the most stunning Tom Kha soup I've had. The flavor profile was so deep and aromatic. Id rate this place with even more stars if I could.”

I was in the area for a ride when I saw this restaurant was open, and decided to pop by for some food. The portions were great for the price and everything tasted amazing!

I ordered their signature clam bibimbap and their deep fried squid and fries. I wasn't too sure how I'd like the bibimbap (because honestly clams are overrated), but I really enjoyed the flavours here. It was even more elevated if you wrap it in seaweed with some side dishes. The squid was perfect as well, and the fries were crispy without being overcooked.

If you have a chance to visit and are craving some Korean cuisine, I would definitely stop by here.”

“Hello, I don't normally write reviews but as the service here was so good I thought it wouldn't hurt to write something

Today we had a very good dine-in with a very welcoming host team greeting us at the door with a friendly feeling when you first walk in. service was incredibly welcoming including the waitress, Maddy. she was very respectful and making us not feel rushed to order our food and guiding us with every question we had with a genuine answer when ordering.

The fries were delicious as always. and when our waitress had checked in on us she asked if we would like our bottomless re-fill. Not being able to deny as they were so good we said yes. though fries took a bit of time our waitress made it her top priority to make sure we were comfortable and got the re-fill. As we were finishing up our meals Maddy cleared off the table giving us a nice space to sit and talk.

over all a very good experience the service is truly welcoming and nice.”

The pastry store was decorated very elegant, clean. I like the way they display their pastries with little name tags. The store smells so buttery and lightly of fresh baked pastries. Talking about their croissants, the crust with its crispiness is perfect, the inside is still kept its moist and chewiness. I have to say this store would have one of the best croissant i have ever tried. The way they make the croissant in savoury and sweet way is just so creative and fun to try. I will definitely come back to try more and all of the pastry”

“I knew from the smell as soon as I walked in that THIS was the place!! I have missed ppho like this since I lived on the border of the Vietnamese district in Montreal!! I showed them the pictures and my son and daughter-in-law and they came right over and we ate together Not surprisingly, most of the patrons are Vietnamese!”

There is no seating in Sushi Tree, we just sat in a grassy patch nearby to eat them, which was no problem.”

Some of the employees even go the extra mile to remember regular customer's names and their usual orders. It's such a warm and welcoming feeling when they greet you personally or already know what you had like, especially the one who mostly took my orders always has a very friendly smile and has too much patience while dealing with customers. Every side, from the mutabal to the tabouleh, was fresh and delicious, and even the fries and rice were served in generous family-sized portions. On top of that, they serve fresh bread straight from the traditional oven, warm and fluffy, which made the meal even more special. The service was outstanding, the restaurant spotless, and the music created the perfect vibe to enjoy the food.
