“It was great! I visited for my birthday :) the waitress, Donna, was very friendly and she guessed it was my bday before I even said it lol delicious breakfast :)”
“This is a great place! Great food, great service, great people! Outstanding!”
“Had lunch here again today and we love their food and presentation. Our server Sukhman was wonderful and made the best margarita ever. Her bubbly personality made our lunch a delightful experience. See you again soon. LOVE THE NAAN CLUB!!”
“Great menu options of different sauces and type of meat for tonkatsu. Just a suggestion that they should display pictures of the food or put their menu on their store front window for display as I notice some people passing by not knowing what they offer as some people don’t know what tonkatsu is. After finish8ng my meal and waiting for my husband to get the car, I noticed some tourists walking by looking around to see if they could find the menu or something at the door but nothing was available.”
“We came on a Friday night for dinner. Like many people have said, parking is limited to the few spots at the front or else you would need to find parking on the back streets. The back street is residential area with no street lights so it can be scary to walk by yourself.
The food was very tasty and good portion. But I found the soup a bit heavy on MSG. Food came out really fast. The side dishes is unlimited refill.
The service was excellent and attentive. The server checked on us every 10 minutes or so. She knew it was our first time trying the hot plate so she helped us quite a bit. She explained how to eat the food quite well.
Parking: Difficult to find parking at the front. Free side street parking with 7-10 minutes walk.”

“This Korean BBQ spot is absolutely one of my favs in Lougheed. The pork and beef bbq and also side dishes were as flavorful as they were plentiful. The bibimbap was super comforting and the soups were rich.
The store was quite busy but very welcoming with the staff.”

“I like that all the food is freshly made! And you can adjust the spicy level as well. Friendly to people who can’t eat spicy! The dandan noodles are surprisingly good. The noodles texture is chewy (doesn’t look like it). Dumplings are pretty yummy too. They gave us a small bowl of ice jelly for free. Good service!”
“Rhe best KFC I've had in the tri cities! Seasoning is perfect, chicken is tender and crispy, cheeky tebokki is absolutely delicious. We had the variety platter and although my friend has some food allergies, the server was able to help us decide which dishes would be safe and was able to instruct the kitchen as well. Friendly, informative, and attentive service too, we Will be coming back for this again.”
“We went to Aria for the first time, and it was incredible. We had the Mantu, the Naan and the Chopan & Chicken Kebab. The live music was a nice touch. Couldn’t recommend any higher. Must try.”
“Service is really good. Highly recommended. The meat in barbecue combo is nice- tender and tasty, especially the marinated pork and beef, though the portion can be more.
Tofu kimchi soup and the vegetable salad that came along with the barbecue combo were really good!
The portion of small Gamjatang is generous, though I feel the taste is average.
Overall a nice experience!”

“This is a family-owned Shanghainese restaurant that offers a variety of authentic dishes, including classics like Xiao Long Bao (soup dumplings) and Sheng Jian Bao (pan-fried buns). The food arrived quickly and was served piping hot, showcasing the kitchen’s efficiency.
The Xiao Long Bao were exceptionally juicy, with flavorful broth and perfectly seasoned, firm filling, although it does have thicker skin than Wangs in Vancouver. The Sheng Jian Bao, a delicious pan-fried bun, had a crisp bottom and was packed with savory soup, offering a wonderful balance of textures. Another bonus was, it wasn’t too oily.
I’ve tried the dan dan noodles and the peanuts were crunchy and provided an enjoyable contrast to the softer dishes. The noodles were slightly overcooked.
Bean paste noodles - huge portion and really flavorful.
Overall, the meal was satisfying, and the prices are reasonable for the quality and location.
This restaurant is truly a gem for anyone craving authentic Shanghai-style cuisine in the area. I’ll definitely be returning to explore more of the menu!”
“Salma provided the best best service I have ever had. She talked to me for at least a half hour with a very genuine conversation. 1000% would recommend”
“Enjoyed (almost) everything we ordered! The pork smelled quite off-putting. This was the second time the pork smelled terrible from there. Didn't make us sick, just smelled gross.
Everything else was delicious though.”

“This is my favourite A&W! Open early, amazing service (fast and professional), love the space we have as well as the food is always fresh at ANY A&W but this one is just something! Highly recommended!
Vegetarian options: You’d be able to find anything you are looking for from veg to meat lovers. Breakfast menu would be best but beyond meat burgers are also an option with lots of veggie sides like onion rings or fries.
Dietary restrictions: You’d be able to find anything you are looking for from veg to meat lovers.
Parking: This place is in a complex, there is a lot of spaces to park. Note that there is only 10–15 in front of the entrance. So, you may need to walk 30sec to 60seconds from other parking lots like SuperStore’s
Kid-friendliness: There isn’t anything for kids specifically but the space is spacious for kids to “run around”
Wheelchair accessibility: It’s OK. No button to auto activate but the doors are big enough to open and allow wheelchair to access”
“I wanna take a moment to appreciate Dima’s customer service ?? at Barnet hwy, Coquitlam McDonalds. She’s went above and beyond to serve us as I had few questions for my orders. I really appreciate you service Dima. Keep up the good work? hope your management have noticed your hard work and great customer service.”

“(Update: I see there are a lot of negative reviews here, but I've been to this location twice since it's new renovation and had nothing but the best service and I get them to bring it to my table. After the initial order via self serve it took no longer than 10 mins for the staff to bring my order both times.)
Since the new renovation this place is really nice. It looks really modern. The place is really bright. I really enjoy the option for your food to be brought to you at your table via number, I understand it's not a new feature at this location but it would be nice to see that at other locations. All in all the new renovation has made this McDonald's ahead of its time in decor. THE CUSTOMER SERVICE IS EXCELLENT.”
“Good korean food. We ordered family combo and the portion was very generous. For 4 adults & 1 kid, we had plenty of leftover for lunch the following day.
- Tangsuyuk: our favorite! The pork was juicy yet the coating was super crispy. The most delicious part was the sauce! It had the perfect acidity and sweetness for the fried pork.
- Kkanpungki: good. The chicken pieces were big and the meat was juicy. The coating was crispy. The sauce was good but we had better sauce.
- Tray Jajangmyeon: the noodle was perfectly cooked (chewy but still had a bite). The black bean sauce was delicious and there were plenty of seafood and ground pork pieces.”
“Sunday, April 7, 2024 My 1st time ordering at this location. My Server was Anna, an exceptional, experienced, attentive, Mature Lady with a great personality. I will definitely be back to see Anna!”

“I had no idea what a Poke bowl was so was a little iffy on ordering but I will be ordering again... soo good! I ordered a custom bowl with Spicy Salmon. large portions, fresh ingredients and tastes amazing. I ordered extra sauce and im glad as was lacking a bit orginally BUT that might be how they are and im just picky.”
“Such a great bakery! Finally quality treats worth the extra time at the gym! They are not like most bakeries now days that use excessive sugar and oil for cheaper flavour. This bakery makes everything from scratch and uses quality ingredients ... the only problem is they are a little too close to home....:) I have tried most of the items and have not had one that I don't love....eek”
“We ordered beef noodle soup and popcorn chicken. Dishes were so tasty and delicious! ( Prices were reasonable too .)
We Love the clean and relaxing atmosphere . Friendly service, hosts constantly walking around and topping up our tea !
So happy we found this Taiwanese restaurant near Port Moody . We definitely will go back again and again.”
“Very fresh sushi. Creative dishes. The most amazing friendly staff. Can be exceptionally busy on the weekends. Also a wonderful dinner before a movie as the theatre is very close by.
Vegetarian options: All the vegan options are excellent. Very fresh and yummy. Miso soup is exceptional.”
“It's been a while since I've been to the John B Pub, a friend of mine and myself decided after a few years to go for lunch.Sure glad we decided to go to the "B" The food in the past has always been so consistent and very good. And happy to say after a few years it's still the same ( absolutely consistent )
We both had the JB Bacon Double Cheese Burger, with me having the Onion Rings, and the friend of mine the Fries and a Gluten free Bun for him as well.
Burgers were outstanding and extremely flavorful and definitely fresh, Onion Rings and Fries were both on point also. Add a couple beers to everything... And perfect...!!!
Service was very good, and our server always came around to see how we were doing.
Now that many of us are retired early now, we all may be going to the John B Pub more often for lunch.
By the way the menu has so much to offer, and covers everyone's needs. Seems like they downsized the menu a bit, because I definitely remember it being so many pages to turn lol. It was almost too much to choose from before. Now it seems to be the perfect menu size, that still covers everyone's needs.
Cheers will be back...”
“Amazing food and atmosphere! We had a reservation for 4 on a Sunday night, and were serviced very quickly. We ordered the clam bibimbap, seafood hotpot and fried squid. Everything tasted so fresh and delicious. While it may be a bit on the pricey side, my family and I found it incredibly worth. We look forward to coming again!”

“Bought take out to eat and home, and was a good meal overall. Of course, I think eating the food in restaurant would be better, but the take out was still good quality even with the travel time.
The Seolleong-tang, Gogi dumplings, Japche and Mul-Naengmyeon were great and would recommend for take out options. The LA galbi was good too, though the onions underneath tasted a little raw/undercooked.
The Haemul-pajeon pancake was dense and doughy, not very crispy. Unsure if it’s due to being takeout and maybe steam/heat in the box softened it. But the texture and density of the pancake itself would make me suggest to avoid getting it, at least as a takeout option.
The corn cheese wasn’t very good as of course, it cools down during travel time, so the cheese and corn hardened. But it was free with uber eats minimum spend so it’s net neutral in my opinion.
Overall a good meal, and would be interested in going to eat in person as I think it would probably taste even better.”
“A week ago Tuesday, while living in Canada, I was craving Korean food, so I decided to visit after receiving a recommendation from an acquaintance who said this was a good restaurant. Having been disappointed at other restaurants, I was worried when I saw some of the low reviews about this place, but I still went there to try Korean food. I have a picky appetite and a sensitive personality, so I went into the restaurant with the thought of what would happen if I came in a bad mood.
However, as a result, the service was satisfactory and the food tasted good, to the point where the low reviews and concerns about the taste of the food were for naught. The seasoning was just right for my taste and it seemed to be in good hygiene condition. It was nice to be able to taste the familiar taste of food from another country. Accordingly, I ate it while being thankful for the chefs' hard work.
Next, let me tell you what I felt about the service. Basically, the servers were friendly, and the greetings when entering were appropriate and not excessive, so I didn't feel burdened. In particular, thanks to the bright energy and smile of the young female server with bright hair, I was able to have a positive influence and enjoy the meal. They are people who feel burdened if you talk to them too much, so it was nice that they kept it within the appropriate range. Looking at other reviews, I noticed that kindness is fundamental. I think the kindness of the server made the food taste better.
It was unfortunate that the music was loud and uncomfortable, perhaps because I was older, but it wasn't that uncomfortable.
Honestly, after visiting, I didn't really understand the criticism about the low reviews. I don't think it's right to cause damage to the store by leaving a review out of malicious intent or your own sensitivity. People like me who come only after reading reviews may not be able to experience such a wonderful and wonderful restaurant. Of course, no lady or gentleman writes a review with that intention, but this is the service I felt today. Even on my return visit on Thursday, the service remained the same. So, I thought I should post about this house, even though I know the reviews. We ask for unchanging service.
The above was an honest review by a retired uncle and ajumma who studied food in Korea and lived as food critics.”
“I think a lot of other reviewers have echoed that meat quality is great and I can confirm it is true. I visited with a party of 4 people and we ordered the Gooi-ga Special. We were prepared to order more but it was enough for us.
The BBQ set came with a variety of meat and seafood and the tofu soup was delicious. They do not have a lot of seating so you are at the mercy of luck if you don't reserve a seat or get on the waitlist. I would definitely come back here with friends again! The only reason for the 4 star is the lack of seating and unpredictability of getting in or waiting.”
“One of Doni’s standout features is its dedication to quality ingredients. Each dish is freshly prepared, and it shows. The portions are generous, and the presentation is impressive, especially for a food court setting. It’s clear that thought and care go into every meal, making it feel like you’re dining at a standalone restaurant rather than a quick stop in the mall.
Doni has successfully elevated the mall food court dining experience. With its diverse menu, commitment to quality, and friendly service, it’s a standout option that’s well worth a visit. Whether you’re a regular mall-goer or just passing through, Doni offers a delicious escape from the usual fast food fare. Highly recommended!”
“Absolutely outstanding service! Marco was attentive, friendly, and went above and beyond to ensure we had an exceptional dining experience. His recommendations were spot on, and he always seemed to anticipate our needs before we even had to ask. It’s rare to find such genuine hospitality, and he truly made our evening memorable. We’ll definitely be back – all thanks to his wonderful service!”
“Go there for the location, good service and atmosphere. The coffee is mediocre at best - with all the craft coffee around now, you don't go to Starbucks for quality anymore. You go because they monopolize the market. That location, with a true craft coffee shop and good food would be amazing. But we have Starbucks. So it is going to be the formula mass produced coffee shop, where you go because of location, the people behind the counter and the people you are meeting. And they give my dog a Puppacino”
“Fair portion of food. I highly recommend the Singapore Noodle bowl, it is very good. The beef soup is good, but they tend to compare it to pho, which is nothing like pho, but it is good for what it is. The customer service is great! I come here every now and then and I've never had a bad experience. I come here just for the food for the most part. The prices are quite decent for the portion and quality ? I love it. I shared a pic of my nearly finished Singapore noodle, smelt and tasted so good I didnt want to wait to take a picture”
“I cannot express how wonderful this food is. you taste the love. just ordered delivery for me, so much food that I won't have to cook in this heat for a couple days. smelled so good, sister literally same to same address ❤”

“I order their
1/ seasonal Pumpkin Spice Latte
2/ Fig, Brie & Prosciutto Croissant a
3/ Crogue Monsioure
The pastry store was decorated very elegant, clean. I like the way they display their pastries with little name tags. The store smells so buttery and lightly of fresh baked pastries. Talking about their croissants, the crust with its crispiness is perfect, the inside is still kept its moist and chewiness. I have to say this store would have one of the best croissant i have ever tried. The way they make the croissant in savoury and sweet way is just so creative and fun to try. I will definitely come back to try more and all of the pastry”
“I knew from the smell as soon as I walked in that THIS was the place!! I have missed ppho like this since I lived on the border of the Vietnamese district in Montreal!! I showed them the pictures and my son and daughter-in-law and they came right over and we ate together Not surprisingly, most of the patrons are Vietnamese!”
“Large inari topped with fresh ingredients and filled very tasty sushi rice in a nice tofu pocket. Prices are reasonable considering the size and work required to assemble as these are practically made to order since the stock on the shelves run out as quickly as they make them. Gem of a shop!”
“I recently visited Café Ciel, and it was a fantastic experience from start to finish. The ambiance is cozy yet modern, with warm lighting and comfortable seating that invites you to relax. The café has a great vibe, whether you’re there to work, chat with friends, or just enjoy some peaceful time alone.
The staff were friendly (especially Fatimah) and attentive, making the whole experience even more enjoyable. If you're looking for a place to unwind with high-quality coffee and a welcoming atmosphere, I recommend café Ciel in Coqitlam to everyone.”
“Have been taking out food from this establishment. They a a few spicy and tasty dishes, such as Lamb Vindaloo. However, I was not impressed with the kebabs. Generally recommeded for Indian food.”
“Our students always enjoy their time at Rio Brazilian Steak House.”
“we love this place, food is good, friendly staff but one thing I think they could improve on, they advertise it as a pub and restaurant, we went a month go with a family with small kids from out of town. we asked for a high chair as one of the kiddies was under one but they didn't have any, and they didn't have kids menus. We always see lots of kids in there so I think it is a good idea to cater to families with kids.”
“The vegan options were wonderful.. even my non vegan friend enjoyed it so much. The food and service was great, christine is very personable and made sure we have everything we need.Highly recommended.”
“Visiting Vancouver from Ontario Canada..staying at vrbo in Coquitlam..found Browns Socialhouse during online search..
Was perfect for us..had steak and pasta first time..went back a second time and had steak and pasta and steak frites.. so good.. happy we found this spot!
Great service and friendly staff..went around 3 and 4 in afternoon..not very busy..nice and quiet.”
“We recently visited Red Robin and tried their burgers, onion rings, and dessert. For the main course, we ordered a Red Robin burger, a chicken burger, and onion rings. The burgers were incredibly juicy, and I especially enjoyed the chicken burger. The onion rings were also fresh, crispy, and a great portion size for our group of four.
For dessert, we had a fudge cake with ice cream, which was a delightful way to end the meal.
What truly stood out, however, was the amazing service we received. Our waiter was exceptionally kind and friendly, making us feel very comfortable throughout the meal. Her attentiveness and warm attitude made our dining experience even more enjoyable and efficient.
Overall, a great experience with tasty food and top-notch service.”

“Quality European food, fair pricing, generous portions and quick take out service for a Friday evening. We’ve been wanting to try this place for a while and can’t wait to try more on the menu + share this gem with family and friends. We have two young picky eaters that enjoyed their entire plate, one actually went to lick his plate haha that’s rare. Thank you :-)”
“I love the experience at this Tim Hortons. They started taking names for orders, which makes the experience feel so much more friendly. Some of the employees even go the extra mile to remember regular customer's names and their usual orders. It's such a warm and welcoming feeling when they greet you personally or already know what you had like, especially the one who mostly took my orders always has a very friendly smile and has too much patience while dealing with customers. The service is quick and efficient. and the staff are always friendly and kind. Great coffee, and amazing customer service.”
