I recently had the pleasure of dining at MILAAP Restaurant and tried their highly recommended Chana Bhatura, and I must say, it was an absolute delight!

From the moment the dish arrived, the aroma was incredibly inviting. The bhatura itself was perfectly puffed, golden-brown, and wonderfully light, with just the right amount of crispiness on the outside and a soft, fluffy interior. It wasn't greasy at all, which is often a concern with fried bread, and it maintained its texture beautifully throughout the meal.

The chana masala was equally impressive. It had a rich, robust flavor profile, perfectly balanced with a medley of aromatic spices. The chickpeas were tender and cooked to perfection, and the gravy had a delightful thickness that clung to the bhatura without being too heavy. It struck a fantastic balance between being savory and subtly tangy, with a hint of warmth from the spices that truly elevated the dish. It's clear that a lot of care and authentic ingredients go into preparing this classic.

I ordered the chicken tikka masala and garlic naan, and both were excellent! The chicken was tender, and the sauce was rich and perfectly spiced. The naan was warm and freshly made, perfect for dipping. They also have great portion sizes, so I felt I got good value for my money.“

“Tonight we decided to try the Tahn Door Indian Eatery and it was a pretty solid experience all the way around. We ordered on UberEats so it was a little more expensive than if we just ordered over the phone but we didn't feel like going out in the rain so a delivery app was our best option. Tahn Door is awesome because they are on all the delivery app services! For the food we ordered two Butter Chickens and one Chicken Coconut Curry, their gravies come in whatever spice level you choose mild, medium, hot and extra hot. We ordered one of the butter chickens hot and the other one mild. I'm a big fan of spice and I don't think the Hot Butter Chicken was very hot spice wise so I would definitely recommend getting the Extra Hot next time the flavour was still really good anyway! The Chicken Coconut Curry was a little more watery then we'd normally like but the flavour was really, really tasty! Weird bonus fact but we really liked their Basmati rice, it was cooked perfectly and was a perfect accompaniment with the two gravies! We also ordered the Tandoori chicken and the pieces were gigantic and very tender and tasty, I highly recommend trying it! Unfortunately they don't have normal beef or chicken samosas on the menu but we got the Samosa Bites and they were real yummy with the Mint Yogurt Sauce and the Tamarind Chutney dip! I wish they had normal full size Samosas on the menu but this place is fairly new so maybe they'll add them in the future! They also have great Naan bread, we got the Garlic Naan and it was perfect, loved every bite of it! In conclusion this place is definitely above average. The customer service is great! The food is delivered hot and tasty with large portions! I'd definitely recommend giving this place a try if you're in the area and craving some Indian cuisine!“

I had the Chichen Tikka Masalla rich, succulent & spices all at once. We shared the lamb chops - OMG heaven. We has a few other appies - all amazing. my wife had the butter chicken (chefs specialty) - yes it is! Drinks were very satisfying. I had a Moscow Mule - ok I had 2. The garlic naan is: wrap yourself up you're in heaven. Water was room temp to reduce the heat if needed but they brought a carafe which wa appreciated. Again, our server was attentive & knowledgeable about the kitchen and made great recommendations. The kitchen was on WoW mode. The food was extremely well prepared. what was left we gleefully packed to go. Is it good value? The quality ingredients and care I the kitchen says YES. This well above your average Indian Kitchen. I know there are lots of Indian restaurants in Surrey but this one will take your taste-buds places. The food; feels, smells, looks & tastes authentically amazing. “Let me tell you folks I just discover that place randomly today and after all the samousa I have try in surrey this one beat my expectations very well made samouse I have a feeling that I'm in my country . No hard crust or oily you can taste the freshness of the vegetables very well balance and feel light on your stomach. “chicken kebab was raw. prawns were not cooked. when I returned the food and asked for refund I was refused, even though the chef agreed the food was raw. if my family gets sick I will be revisiting the issue. I have reported Chef Kebab to the health inspection agency for this blatent refusal to deal with a health issue I will let everyone I know including govt authorities that I was not treated with respect and if my family gets sick.... that's a different issue“

“I had the Pav Bhaji the other Day.. on the Plate .. They Serve Bhaji on the small section of the Plate and Paav on the bigger one.. They don't even put Lemon Slice to squeeze in Bhaji.. The Bhaji is just Ok.. Since they must've used the Pav Bhaji Masala .. If you Don't know how to serve Bombay Style Paav Bhaji.. Just see some YouTube Videos and Google Images on Plating style.. When I spoke with Manager or Owner (The Bearded gentleman in Regular Clothes and not in Restaurant Uniform)... He just diplomatically explained that they have changed the "PLATES" recently.. Really !! Kids can come with better excuse.. I'd Rather go to other places at least for Pav Bhaji.. Today I went for Sev Puri and yea that was decent .. but not Praiseworthy ..“
