“Bought 2 wraps, beef was pretty good. Chicken was pretty much all lettuce, definitely needed more chicken, did not much. To much lettuce and not enough anything else. I see in the reviews this has been an issue before. Pita was really good tho.“

“I was so impressed tonight! The atmosphere perfectly lit and decorated with cheer, and the accommodation for a dear friends 75th birthday and impeccable service amazing ladies and 5 star service! The food! Let's talk the food ! My lanta ! EVERYTHING tasted amazing. The garlic the breads the rice the potatoes ! Im an avid greek food gal, and let me say, hands down the best greek food ever ! I will be making trips over the bridge everytime to this place! Thankyou so much for having us enjoy a surprise evening with the lovely birthday woman. Hands down top notch , and to serve over 50 people and all the food come out hot and fresh? Outstanding! Bravo to your kitchen and chef 👩🍳 👏“

“Huge portion size and delicious food. It’s my first time trying out East African food, so I asked the staff for recommendations and ended up ordering their Massawa Tibs with beef and of mild spice. The beef was flavorful and not salty, and the injera was spongy and a bit sour but good. They even gave me more injera on the side.
The food was just like the pictures but I was pleasantly surprised by the humongous portion size. I’ll say you could order one and share for two people. I ordered one for myself but was left filled to the brim.

“Really nice spot overlooking Deer Lake, quiet, out of the way but still central location, good service, excellent food (pasta was too salty but soup, steak, dessert and other things were excellent) nice old mansion, interesting heritage building. Definitely worth a visit!“

“This Donair Dude location has become one of my go-to spots for a quick, satisfying meal. One thing that really stands out is how clean the store is. Every time I visit, the counters, tables, and even the sauce station are spotless. I’ve also never seen a single fly or fruit gnat here — which is honestly rare for a place that deals with fresh ingredients and open toppings. Major bonus points for hygiene!
The portions are generous, especially the chicken. I always order the chicken wrap or plate, and they never skimp on the meat. It’s always juicy, well-seasoned, and perfectly cooked. You definitely get good value for the price.
The service is also worth mentioning. There’s a young lady who often works at the front — she’s super friendly and always greets customers with a warm smile. She’s patient when I take forever choosing sauces, and she makes the whole experience more enjoyable.
It’s refreshing to see a fast food-style place that puts this much care into both food and service. Highly recommend if you’re looking for clean, tasty, and generous donairs with great vibes!“

“Came in to try this place out with my parents! Really great place and service, very welcoming and sweet staff. Portions on the Shawarma are not cheap and full of meat, tried out the lamb and chicken it was delicious. Would recommend this place out for sure if you’re ever around.“

“Best chain/lunch/fast donair in the city this location has 3 of the nicest service workers (they know who they are) that I've met since coming to the lowermainland for work. Me and rebar crew work up a very large appetite and are always super full when we return after lunch. Definitely recommend if you in a rush you can be on and out in under 10 minutes.“

“A favourite bar in Vancouver for light snacks & aperitifs. Barra 41 is the bar attached to Minerva's Greek restaurant (which has been around forever) and serves the same great quality food from it's kitchen. All the food & beer on tap is good, and you can also order from the restaurant menu. The atmosphere & service of this bar takes Barra the next levrl. Highly recommended and worth the trip to karisdale. Happy hour specials are offered daily from 3 - 5 PM.“

“Have been coming to Stefanos since its grand opening. My family has always loved the food and atmosphere. They’re great for private events as well, we held a celebration of life dinner there with dinner and dancing and everyone was amazed. Bill and Stefan have kept this place amazing for over 2 decades. “Food is great, we've been going there for years, we're picky, we like the food to be delicious and presented properly with good costumer service ..this place has it all with authentic Greek taste and cosy atmosphere... The only drawback back is the price .. a little way far ahead of inflation ... Must consider lowering the price in order to survive in this day and age ... 4 ⭐❤️“
