“I love love love this place. I've only ever done Doordash so I have no idea what it's like inside or if the people who run it are nice, but they seriously stuff those takeout containers with delicious food so they're definitely generous. The mixed chicken/beef platter is my favorite, but we also love the tabblouleh. The rice is in the platter is wonderful. It looks pretty standard, even a little boring (it looks like it's going to be flavourless), but it is seasoned so nicely and is always cooked perfectly. The meats are super flavourful and have crispy edges, and the hummus and little salad that come with the platter are both perfect. The value is great - you get a lot of food for around $20, so much that we always have leftovers. My new Doordash favourite!“

“This place is QUITE!! The wait staff is exceptional and the food is to die for. If as higher rating had been available they would be higher.
We sat outside, the weather was nice. Reservations were for 7pm and we were seated immediately.
It was our 30th anniversary, I made the reservation using the “Open Table” app and when EVERYONE greeted us, they wished us “Happy Anniversary”“

“I went in for dinner with a couple friends, having never tried East African cuisine before, because I really wanted to try injera. We got the vegetarian combo for two, kapreto, and hummus, all to share, and oh my lord. Every single part of the dish was absolutely incredible. All of the flavors were so good, on their own and mixed together with anything else. Every bite was different, the varying levels of spice played so well together, the meat and vegetables were all so juicy. We dug in so fast that we didn't even take pictures, we ate until we were all completely stuffed and there was still food left on the table, and before tip it was a little under $20 per person. I haven't been blown away by a restaurant in a long time. The server was very sweet as well. Going to be coming back here again and again!“

“This Donair Dude location has become one of my go-to spots for a quick, satisfying meal. One thing that really stands out is how clean the store is. Every time I visit, the counters, tables, and even the sauce station are spotless. I’ve also never seen a single fly or fruit gnat here — which is honestly rare for a place that deals with fresh ingredients and open toppings. Major bonus points for hygiene!

The portions are generous, especially the chicken. I always order the chicken wrap or plate, and they never skimp on the meat. It’s always juicy, well-seasoned, and perfectly cooked. You definitely get good value for the price.

The service is also worth mentioning. There’s a young lady who often works at the front — she’s super friendly and always greets customers with a warm smile. She’s patient when I take forever choosing sauces, and she makes the whole experience more enjoyable.

“I don’t normally leave reviews for fast food spots since my experiences are usually quick and easy, but I left this location today (Sept 8, around 4:45pm) feeling a bit disappointed.

While ordering, the staff member preparing my food added pickles, which I hadn’t asked for. When I mentioned it, he thought I had requested them. I really dislike pickles and always make sure to leave them out, and since they were chopped and wrapped inside, it wasn’t something I could just remove.

What stood out most to me was the interaction. In my own work in restaurants, I’ve found it goes a long way to simply apologize and make the correction, rather than debating with the guest (he seemed really annoyed with me). The food was remade, which I appreciated, but the exchange left me feeling uncomfortable and not as positive about the experience overall.

As a suggestion, it might help to double-check with customers before finalizing toppings and perhaps adjust the tipping option so it appears after service is provided. I think those changes would really improve the guest experience.“

“Have been coming to Stefanos since its grand opening. My family has always loved the food and atmosphere. They’re great for private events as well, we held a celebration of life dinner there with dinner and dancing and everyone was amazed. Bill and Stefan have kept this place amazing for over 2 decades. I highly recommend.“

“A favourite bar in Vancouver for light snacks & aperitifs. Barra 41 is the bar attached to Minerva's Greek restaurant (which has been around forever) and serves the same great quality food from it's kitchen. All the food & beer on tap is good, and you can also order from the restaurant menu. The atmosphere & service of this bar takes Barra the next levrl. Highly recommended and worth the trip to karisdale. Happy hour specials are offered daily from 3 - 5 PM.“

The whole dining experience was great- the service, food and ambience is very satisfying. My wife and I got chicken souvlakis and my daughter got the Athenian Chicken. For appies, we had Calamari and Tzaziki with Bread.

The easy and free parking was a bonus! I strongly recommend reservations as this place is jam-packed particularly on Friday evenings!

We will return to try Lamb Shoulder next time!!“

“While I've eaten in the restaurant numerous times, it has become a favorite to order it for home delivery. Every meal I receive is excellent and piping hot. I couldn't be happier. I have taken to ordering extra potatoes to have with my own home-cooked meals the following days, too. You won't regret eating at Yiannis. I love the roast lamb dinner, the dolmathes, which are my main choices. Sorry, I have no photo to share. I'm too eager to eat my meal and never think to take a photo.“

“I'll try not to now waste your time - this place is really friendly, clean and serves really solid food with excellent portions for decent prices. I live in the neighborhood, and actual get take out there a few times a week. I do like me some donair meat, and every once in a while I go on a rampage lol. I usually get the beef platter, but I've been known to get the chicken, lamb or a combo. It's good food, what more can an honest donair fan ask for? I'll bet the majority of folks will really like it. Oh and the hummus is really good as well. Good food, very nice people, family run - it's nice to have a decent donair place in the neighborhood.“
