“Owner is a gem. My grandma was visiting and doesn't speak English and he made her laugh many times. He also found us a seat on the patio after a very short wait despite it being busy.

Menu is varied and the food is great- local and well priced. Highly recommend the fish, the strawberry lemonade and the carrot cake.

“⁣ Earlier in December I was in Duncan running errands and stumbled across Westfalian bakery cafe tucked away in its own little spot. I wasn’t sure what to expect, but inside was a huge assortment of traditional baked goods and Korean-inspired treats! ⁣ By the time I got there (around noon), most of the Korean pastries were already sold out, but out of what I did grab, the carrot cake was the standout; spongy, light, and perfect with my coffee. ⁣ Next time you’re in Duncan, pop in and check them out!”

“We had a reservation for 6 adults at 4PM but we were running late as we were coming from Victoria, the staff did not rush us and were very accommodating! We also asked if we could swap one of the tasting wines and they let us. The cheese board was delicious and we enjoyed the sparkling and red wine. Views were epic, such a beautiful spot!”

“We hired Taco Revolution for our wedding this September and I couldn’t recommend them more! The staff is so friendly and the food was amazing. All of our guests were raving about the food for days after. It was so nice knowing that they were going to show up, set up, serve and then take down. We also had no issues with items running out and all of our guests were happily full after. It was wonderful having all the different dietary restrictions taken care of and big thumbs up for the nut free kitchen as we had a guest who is very allergic. Thank you so much for everything and I’ll be recommending you to all my friends!”

I will not only order another Eclipse Barolo wine kit, but I am very motivated to try the rest of the Eclipse line. Typically, it takes a long time to age Barolo wine, the pleasant and knowledgeable staff at Great Fermentations explained how Eclipse kits have a special secret process that makes it possible to have a delicious drinkable wine in a much shorter period of time. “I have a son with multiple severe food allergies so we are a bit of a pain when we order food from restaurants. I cannot say enough good things about the Duncan White Spot. They are always SO accommodating with finding food options that are safe for my son. Many (if not all) of their staff are familiar with how carefully food allergies need to be handled. As a parent of a child with allergies, it is a HUGE relief to find a place that you know your child can eat at safely. This White Spot has, and will continue to be, our go to place when we want too eat out as a family.”

“We've had several great experiences at Original Joe's in Duncan. Nicole is always a pleasure to have as our server. She's warm, friendly, attentive, and makes us feel genuinely welcome every time we visit.
We also appreciate the thoughtful little touches that make the experience even better. The gyoza is delicious, especially with the extra sauce, and it's a nice touch that they provide a towelette when you order wings. At Duncan OJ they take the time to pour a proper pint of Guinness, it takes patience. These small details show that they care about their guests' experience.
The manager is also very attentive. On one visit, when the restaurant wasn't too busy, he noticed our seating and took the time to adjust the TV screens so we had a better view. It was an unexpected gesture that demonstrated excellent customer service and attention to detail.
The restaurant has a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere, the food is consistently good, and the staff work together to make guests feel appreciated. It's always an enjoyable place to dine, and we look forward to coming back. Highly recommended!”

“Love all,of the food, amazing miso (not true of every restaurant), fresh sushi, tasty bento boxes, I can honestly say I’ve not been unhappy with anything they’ve prepared for me. But, if I was to tell you my favourite things the first would be the “Monkey Brains” we recently tried. We’ve had this dish in other restaurants and really thought we’d found the best version elsewhere...but we were wrong! Sushi House Monkey Brains are THE best! The spicy chopped scallop roll is a must, and if you like Pho, their soups are delectable. I recently ordered take out Pho and was so impressed when I realized that the broth was very obviously homemade and it was without a doubt the best Pho I’ve ever had. Thank you Sushi House, you’re our go to place!”

We love that they have so many crust options like stuffed crust, thin crust, and even gluten-free and cauliflower crust. The XL pizza with 3 toppings is a great deal, and you can't beat their famous creamy garlic dip. Perfect for a family dinner after a long day!”

This is the 5th year in a row that we have visited after the completion of a semester end activity. This semester my class was in the morning and Travis opened up earlier than usual, having his staff ready to accommodate my students. Wow! Talk about going above and beyond! My sister and I used to frequent Romeo’s in Victoria on Blanchard back in the early 90’s. had the fettuccine chicken Alfredo and it was absolutely amazing. Big portion so we took home leftovers and enjoyed them 4 hrs later and it tasted even more amazing!! Love that this is an indigenous owned business.”
