“Of the thousands of beers I’ve bought and drank in BC, there is no one that makes a hazy (and other ipas) as delicious as Backcountry. Their Za is also not to be missed, dough is chewy and wonderful, pairs nicely with their Caesar salad. 👌🏼“

“This place has become our go to in the last little while. We went a few weeks ago and had the chicken bowl and it was good. Went tonight again and had the chicken bowl and the tuna bowl and they were even better this time! Super fresh and tasty, good amount of protein, veggies and sauce. Ambience is so cozy and the service is excellent. Highly recommend this place whatever part of Squamish you live in! I'm glad it's in my neighborhood 😃“

“This pizza was so good, I didn’t even get a chance to take a photo—it disappeared that fast! Easily the best pizza I’ve had in the Sea to Sky region. It had everything a proper pizza should: incredible flavor, perfectly charred crust, and just the right balance of toppings. If you’re a true pizza lover, this spot is a must-visit!“

“Service has been really horrible no drink refill waiting 20 plus mins after we are finished for a bill no plates taken away.. sucks as I had it at 5 stars even a year ago. But the service has gone down 100 percent. The salad also had wilted soggy lettuce.
Great response and amazing manager Trina is amazing and definitely resolved the issue“

“Modest, no non-sense breakfast joint. Fast - though indifferent - service, serve-it-yourself coffee, and yes, the atmosphere is not the main focus. Don't expect James Beard level food, but in terms of a simple, filling and cost-effective, it's great. Leave your expectations at the door.“

“After Furry Creek Golf & Country Club cancelled our wedding 37 days prior to the event, Kyley, the Events Manager, and the entire team at Howe Sound Inn & Brewing swiftly came together and put on the BEST wedding reception we could have ever imagined! Kyley went above and beyond to ensure the event was flawlessly executed and made the entire planning experience stress free. From the moment I met her, I immediately knew we were in very capable and highly detail focused hands.
For a 90 person wedding, Kyley made sure to have plenty of staff available for food and beverage service which made for an effective, efficient, and comfortable dinning experience. Kyley and her team created custom cocktails and special entrees that were specific to certain guest dietary restrictions. From the buffet, to the desserts, to the late night pizza snack, and endless cocktail and tap beer options, our guests enjoyed it all! We cannot thank Kyley enough and highly recommend Howe Sound Inn & Brewing for those looking to host a private event or wedding reception in beautiful Squamish!!
