“The beautiful ladies at this location have shown me immense kindness today. My energetic 5 year old spilled his chocolate milk. Without me asking, they helped me move my kids and food to another table and insisted on cleaning up the milk for me. Then they gave me a new chocolate milk! My 2 year old then dropped her granola bar and cried. They brought her another one, again without me asking. To say this restaurant is family friendly is an understatement. Definitely different quality than other A&W. Always quality food and very clean.Kid-friendliness: The ladies working today clearly understand the kid struggle and were so kind. Replaced my kid's dropped milk and cleaned up our mess with such kindness.“

“We had such a delightful time here yesterday! It was the first very sunny weekend of spring, and Steveston was very busy as to be expected. We walked around and managed to grab a table on the patio right away here. We were quoted 30 minutes at other places, no one’s fault on their part being just but just shows how being a little more remote helps with getting a table. We had two kids in toe ( A three-year-old and a two-month-old in a stroller) and our beagle, and it was totally comfortable and accommodating. They have a great kids menu with an activity/colouring in sheet with pencil crayons. Our server was lovely - super friendly and attentive. All service staff were kind, relaxed, and very prompt. The view was wonderful, very hard to beat. Food was really good too, we shared a large salad and the steak and it was all super yummy and well-made. Cocktails are great too, we ordered the kids fish and chips and it was delish. Dogs are allowed on the inside part of the patio, so you don’t have to tie them up on the busy boardwalk side like other places, even though the boardwalk is not busy here. We also asked for some water for our dog, and they had a designated water dish - so very dog accommodating. Sometimes taking the whole family to dine out is a lot of work and there are not alot of good options that are dog friendly, kid friendly with a water view patio. This felt far more relaxing than other dining experiences we’ve had, patio or not, it seemed everything is very well managed. It feels like we found a little treasure, will definitely be back this summer!Kid-friendliness: Super kid friendly, for toddlers, older kids and babies. They have an activity sheet type of menu- I know some kids aren’t great with pencil crayons (chewing them, breaking the tips etc) so if that’s your kiddo pack some crayons maybe? It’s totally lovely and accommodating!“

“I am blown away !!! I just ordered a few orders of the spaghetti special’s and a couple of burgers and they were SO GOOD !!! I can’t believe how good these burgers are !! Tastes like a homemade patty not a cheap frozen one like everywhere else. The bun was fresh and delicious!!! And the spaghetti! It is also delicious again tastes like a homemade sauce not the usually generic tasting one that every restaurant seems to use including Boston pizza. This place is really really good. Great prices and great food. I will be back all te time now cheers guys great work !!! Sorry burger didn’t lAst long enough for the picture. It was too good !!“

“I came in here randomly because I had an hour to kill before a meeting. The staff was so sweet. I got hot wings. Amazing. And a beer. Which was cold and crisp. They made sure I had everything I needed and were so kind. If you're around this area..go in. It's so great :) thanks “

“I quite like all the mains and desserts here! The ube toast and waffles were crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, just the way I like them. My sweet chicken dish went so well with the waffle I can see myself ordering that again. Service was quick but it was hard to get a table. Full party has to be there before they let you in. There are street parking nearby but it was pretty difficult for me to find a spot when I went.“

“We had breakfast here today. Frankly I can make my own bacon and eggs but sometimes nice to have them made for us. Perfectly cooked eggs sunnyside up back nacin delicious. Toast needs toasting twice otherwise you get warm bread. I didnt know they deep fry smashed potatoes didnt use to do that. Would also like better coffee or lattes. Oj could be better like simply orangr insted of minute maid. Lovely kitchen manager Jas Serai both cooked and briught us our food. Our booth upholstery was ripped and manager insisted we move rather than letting us close the blinds.still food pretty good and people lovely.“

“Located along the board walk dock of the Fisherman's Wharf on Steveston. It's a tiny to go burger joint that serves hotdogs, burgers, fries, and drinks. Hardly any seats inside but plenty of benches outside. Burgers and hot dogs are cooked fresh off the grill. I wouldn't compare this to artisan burgers nor would I use the same standards when reviewing it. It's good enough. It's a street burger or hotdog "stand" comparable to the one's you see along metropolitan city streets in New York or Toronto. People flock to it. Are they connoisseur dogs? Nope. But they are good in their own right. Street food! It tastes good when ur really hungry or when you just came off of a walk or running along the boardwalk or strolling with a friend and wanted to get a bite. As you can see, it's not as sloppy as some big name burger joints I've had before in my reviews. Ahem! Carls Jr and Burger Priest! Veggies are fresh. There's ketchup, mustard and relish. No other bells and whistles. The place is really small but clean. Menu is simple. The cook was pleasant. Plenty of parking along the street for 3 hrs maximum. I'm giving this one less star cuz it's really small and cramped inside if there's more than two customers at a time. Lol!“

“White Spot locations around the city are a go-to when we need to get food with a toddler. The staff are always efficient and accommodating. The service here was particularly good.Vegetarian options: There are limited vegetarian options, but they are pretty good, considering the target demoParking: It's in the far end of a mall's parking lot. There are always spaces available.Kid-friendliness: The staff are very accommodating of kids. There are booster seats and highchairs, and they let us move to a larger booth because we had a diaper bag and a bunch of winter coats that need to be stored.“
“Fresh fruit smoothie stall with very reasonable prices (most drinks are $5!). It’s located inside the Crystal Mall food court. A bit of a dingy looking place but it is sooo legit. Got the mango smoothie and it was so fresh! No added sugar to their fruits, and they have ice cream or coconut milk to add on if you want more of a dessert. Cash only.“

“This Triple Os drive thru has basic White Spot burgers and fries, Shakes, coffee, milkshakes. Not the full White Spot menu, of course. The service is friendly and helpful and I’ve had no issues. The food comes out fresh and well made( not hurriedly done). There is usually a minimal wait every time I’ve gone. The place is kept clean and tidy.“

“It has been a while since we last dined at this restaurant. We went for Happy Hour yesterday & had a grand time - service by Celina was excellent. She is courteous, friendly & the food was delicious. Given the nature of our food, Celina was extremely considerate giving us extra paper napkins without us even asking her for it.“

“Didn't even know they make breakfast and they currently have this deal for $7.99 (egg and toast), which for that price is hard to find anywhere. But I suggest to upgrade to 9.99 which gets you one more egg, and you getta pick between pancake, sausage or bacon.Kid-friendliness: Also this is a great place to bring kids. My 8 yr old love coming here since they get to pick a toy from the toy bin.Parking: Tons of parking close by!“

“I have been in the Fast Food Service Industry for 44 years and still going strong. I work in a burger place as well, but on my days off I always come to your Richmond Center location. You have the most pleasant, happy staff I have ever had the pleasure of serving me. They are consistent in serving everyone with a smile. I didn't look at name tabs but they are all great. Makes my day happier when they serve me. Good job in hiring such competent staff ❤“

“I have been going to the White Spot since the 70's and consider myself a good customer, but the prices fir for a meal are just too expensive. The Nat Bailey breakfast with coffee and a tip is $25. I can buy a dozen premium free range eggs at the supermarket for $6. The Double Double Triple O burger is $21.50. Add a drink and a tip you are over $30 for a hamburger. The prices are not fairly priced in my opinion. Way too high.“

“Airport restaurants are the best! This little gem is closing down soon cause it's lease isn't being renewed. Get there soon. The service was friendly and efficient even though there were two large groups there. Food was just what you'd expect at a diner style restaurant. Had a couple good ol' favorites - toasted Denver sandwich (who else dips them in Catsup!) and a patty melt. Fries were great too.It was so fun watching the small planes take off and land.“

“Came for a the Friday happy hour. Sat at the patio, which is well covered, not too cold.Huge plate of nachos, great for sharing and enjoying some chilled time with friends. The burgers are well made with good ingredients, and really really crispy bacon. It was a busy Friday afternoon, so we had to wait a bit for the waitress when we want to order our food or pay the bill. But she was very nice and we really enjoyed dining there.*note* the items we ordered were on the oily side, but it is expected as well.Parking: There are a few spots in front of Romer’s, and another free public parking lot just beside if necessary.“

“Honestly my favourite five guys in all of metro Vancouver!!! The food is always super tasty but it’s the staff that are incredibly kind, I’ve never had bad service, even when things are busy and staff are clearly doing a lot of work they still serve with a smile! The staff make it feel like you’re being looked after by friends! my boyfriend and I are locals and probably eat here more often then we should, but it’s because it’s always such a good experience and a guarantee of good food. Also best fries on the PLANET“

“The female staff here is really friendly. it seems like they pre fry the chicken and then fry it again when the order comes in..I got fresh fried chicken and it was soo good. But you'll probably receive chicken that has been cooked twice the chicken is crispy and not bad but you may taste the old “

“Tried the burger at the night market. By far, one of my favorite smash burger joint in Vancouver, and here's why. Every condiment / burger filling taste homemade, flavorful, and unique. Each burger is different from each other and thought out perfectly. No boring fillings. It was tough picking because they all sounded delicious. We ended up trying the longaniza burger. It's juicy, flavorful, the bun was soft nicely buttered, the patty was juicy and crispy, and the perfect amount of topping. Ratio of everything was spot on. Simple and delicious.“

“These days I hear many people complain about service and wait times. It is unfortunate so many have such a narrow view of what is going on in this country. The majority of workers are doing all they can to keep up.I did a drive through order this morning. The individual taking my order was so polite and patient. They spoke clearly and enunciated their words to ensure they were understood over the speaker. They carefully reread my order to ensure it was correct t and then ensured I had the opt to ask for everything before telling me to drive ahead. No rush, no push, no attitude. It may seem like a small thing but consider in daily life for us all at present, this stands out brightly in my day.Thank-you to the staff for this small but lovely experience!“

“Best a&w I've been to in years. Staff was friendly, food came out fast and fresh and they gave us an ample amount of fries and onion rings. I will often get onion rings and there is only 4-5 rings and I am always disappointed because onions are so cheap and it just seems like they are scamming me. This is how it sounds be done. Also, the free root beer refills were very welcome after a hard day of exercise.“

“The first thing I would like to address is that it's a very unique place and does fit the 50s theme. Otherwise, I will be talking about my experiences and will base my rating on the 3 categories (food, service, environment/atmosphere)When walking into the restaurant, it was very tight and compact. No more than 6-7 people can fit inside, hence the seats outside and behind the restaurant. Restaurant holds the 50s theme inside and uses an old milkshake mixing machine, which was a nice touch. No washroom available, so make sure you have something to clean your hands with.Service was neutral, nothing much to talk about. We order, wait, get the food, and eat. Honestly, it doesn't make a memorable experience, but my expectations weren't high. The food, however, impressed me. Thick cut grandma fries were alright, and some don't maintain crispness for a long period of time. The LA burger, on the other hand, was very nice. Housemade bun held all the ingredients together and did not crumble. The patty was nicely seasoned and had the grill char flavor. The mushrooms, bacon, cheese, lettuce, and tomatoes combined nicely offer a perfectly balanced burger. One tiny gripe I had was that my burger had more mustard than anticipated. When it came down to the milkshake, I was thoroughly impressed. Perfect balance of sweetness, and you can taste the ice cream, milk, and then the strawberry. Simply amazing! Before I left, I decided to try the bulldog. It was alright, but bun held everything together but proved to be messy to consume. The amount of mustard added was again too much, and other than the sausage (which was nice and had a nice slight char smoky flavor and the casing pops) was all I tasted. I'm not too impressed with it compared to the burger.Overall, it's an impressive burger spot and definitely hits the spot if you are looking for a quality burger. Probably would recommend eating on an outside table, bringing your own hand wipes, and don't expect an amazing customer service from the establishment. Would definitely come back if im passing by Burnaby and craving a burger and milkshake. Would recommend to friends and family!“

“It's my first time at Wally's Easy to find burger joint in the plaza on Elliot St and 49th Ave.I got the Southwest Ring Tangler burger ($8.75) and added a Root Beer milkshakeThe bun held the patty and sauce together well. The onion ring in the burger didn't really stand out for me, and the burger is very saucy. Maybe too saucy for me but the price was pretty good, I would come back next time to try a different burger Staff were quite friendly and helpful. Fries were well seasoned, good portion and fresh for $4.50. A no frills casual place that I can see myself coming back again for that burger craving when I am in the area“

“I gave a very negative review regarding the quality of the food, the level of customer service at this location about one year ago.It was warranted. It was terrible. For the past 2 months I’ve been coming back here late at night, everything has changed. They tell you to wait a few mins for your order but that’s because they are cooking it fresher for you.Even though it seems they are still understaffed at times, the STAFF is putting in the effort to make each and every order the way it should be. Fresh, hot and with a smile.Dear owner and managers, I know margins are very low right now but please try to do your best to have enough staff on to help them do their jobs better and also happier.Keep up the good work and thanks for doing a great job serving your local community!“
