“i heard of JJ's from a reel months ago and was determined to have the high tea experience for my sober anniversary and they delivered! what a special place! the food and drinks were amazing - my favourite would have to be the blackberry maga melt and jungle club (the calamansi aioli is something else). the staff were so welcoming and friendly, even joined in on our silliness. jennifer, the owner, came by our table to greet me and chatted with us too. we're grateful for such a wholesome experience!“

“This is an amazing gem in Langley and I won't be going anywhere else for my coffee and treats in the area. I went in for an oat fudge bar (no picture because it was so good I demolished it on the walk out), and the barista whose name I didn't catch had some amazing suggestions and I also decided to try a cozy latte. The coffee was excellent, and the oat fudge bar is worth a drive from wherever you are.

There are amazing options, the atmosphere was great, and I am so sad I didn't get the name of the lovely woman serving me today because she was a joy to meet. She was incredibly friendly and welcoming, and had great suggestions for things I should try and options that would be available the next time I stopped by.

“I was taken here for my birthday and LOVED it! They even accommodated my allergies so I could enjoy high tea with my friends. This first positive experience is what led me to take my mom here for HER birthday, and it was another great experience. Fantastic staff, beautiful place and wonderful food. We will be back.“

“Visited this small bakery for the first time today. Grabbed a loaf of the jalapeno asiago sourdough and a ham and cheese croissant.

The jalapeno asiago sourdough was the best bread I've ever tasted. Its so soft on the inside. Crispy crunchy outside. There is a subtle hint of jalapeno and cheese but it's not overpowering. I made a sandwich with it when I got home, it was delicious.

The croissant was also delicious. I can't wait to try other items. I love that you can pre order ahead of time. I'm definitely pre ordering bread for the holidays.“

“I was looking for a last minute order of gluten & dairy free cupcakes for a friend’s birthday & the bakery I usually use couldn’t do such short notice so a friend recommended Marie’s & I’m so happy with my order. I walked in to the shop & was able to order them & have them decorated so quickly! The cupcakes were so delicious you wouldn’t know they were gf/df! Highly recommend.“

“Great customer service with engaging and friendly staff. The bread is quite good, definitely above average and priced accordingly. The cinnamon twist is so sweet. They are covered with/in brown sugars. (see photos) Best to enjoy it with a cup of black coffee or a glass of warm milk. The bakery is located in a warehouse district. Shared parking. Nearest bus stop is about 6 minutes walk, according to Map. You can also find their baked goods in some of the local stores.“

“I used to live in Brookswood and always went here during the 2000s. Was visiting the area this weekend and was thrilled to stop in for the western bagel and a specialty coffee. Was just as good I remembered it. Still a cute cafe with a great vibe, great variety of options, and good quality. I also appreciated the price point. Such a gem for the Brookswood community. Good memories and glad I was able to stop in!“
