“Enjoyed another wonderful meal of fresh nigiri sushi, rolls and teriyaki chicken. Always enjoy the miso soup to start, and the ginger in between and the delicious entree. The staff are so friendly and helpful. We’ll be back again soon!“

“I can't say enough good things about this place. This is as authentic, quality sushi with a remarkably positive and friendly attitude on the phone and in person. Look at my other reviews, I'm very critical of everything but these guys deserve every star I give them in this review.
5 stars.“

“The food was really good for the price I paid. The sashimi was very fresh and good decent cuts. I got the Hitori 4. The deep fried shrimp was the star of the show. The sushi was really flavorful and the rice was perfectly cooked. It was a nice sampler dish and its the perfert portion for lunch. I also ordered the ebi sunomono which was very refreshing, a bit too much vinegar taste for me since I like drinking the mixture the salad comes in. Overall such a great experience for my first time eating here.“

“The mango avocado roll is absolutely delicious, topped with a drizzle of flavorful mango sauce. The Alaska roll is perfectly prepared, and the yam tempura is delightfully crispy, with a thinner, more refined slice that enhances the texture. The food was ready in just about 10 minutes, making for a quick and satisfying experience. Well priced too.“

“This place has been around forever and I popped for a vegetarian lunch. The sushi presentation was adorable. There are a million sushi places with the exact same looking plates, but this was the first time I had my sushi presented in a cute little flower. It tasted great as well. The salad was super colourful and delicious and I even ate the little lemons and enjoyed them. Excited to come back and have another cute little tasty meal.(The server was absolutely lovely, but she took the order of a person who was seated at a table after me and there was a few minute delay in taking my order with only bothered my because I was starving and a bit hangry lol)“

“Been going to this place for a long time. Ordered a spicy tuna roll, among other things, it was different..the sauce..idk just didn't taste the same. Other than that was great.“

“I usually like this Japanese restaurant, I have introduced this to my friends, students, family and friends. I tried their sashimi salad and boy am I disappointed. I ask the server if it’s a Japanese recipe or Korean recipe, it tasted and smelled like kimchi. I like kimchi but I’m in a Japanese restaurant so I am expecting a Japanese cuisine. The sashimi salad doesn’t taste good at all it even has a bitter taste on it. When I mentioned it to the server she didn’t say anything, I felt ignored. In spite of that I will still eat there ( but will never try again their sashimi salad, not recommended needs to change their dressing) because I love their chicken teriyaki and their deluxe tempura. I also find them not that expensive.“

“Recommend Sushi Gio! Great service, great food and great prices. Amazing staff and pleasant atmosphere. When you order a pop it comes with a glass with ice instead of just a can like other places. Daughter says the washrooms had a good vibe and that she wants to recommend and she gives it five stars!“

“Just had lunch today and while the food was pretty good, I can’t say much for our server. It would appear that she has decided that everyone she waits on must pay her a tip. We had left the restaurant and walking to our car when she followed us outside and questioned about her service. What she was inquiring about was her tip that she felt she was entitled to! After informing her the tip was on the table she immediately turned around and left without offering a thank you. What the hell?“

“Sushi Monster is my go-to spot for sushi takeout! The service is always friendly, the prices are fantastic, and the food is consistent - average and good quality for what you pay. Tip: make sure to call a few hours ahead to schedule your pickup, especially during busy times, as walk-ins may face long wait times. A solid choice for delicious and affordable sushi to take home and enjoy with friends and family.“

“We Had a wonderful dinner at Sushi California, Willowbrook Drive, Langley location
We ordered chicken karaage, agedashi tofu, miso soup, dynamite rolls, and ika karaage. Everything was delicious and fresh. The only dish that was a bit of a miss for us was the ika karaage it was quite chewy and may have been slightly over-fried.
What truly stood out was the exceptional service. Our servers, Sue and Daniel, were very attentive throughout the meal. Sue even noticed our concern with the ika karaage and kindly removed it from the bill, which really reflects their commitment to great customer service.
Highly recommend this spot for tasty Japanese food and warm, accommodating service.“

“This was the first time I went to sushi hinder in a long time, but I forgot how good it is! Menu is vast! We had edamame, sushi mango roll and some udon soups, which were all fantastic, fresh and delicious! Prices were quite reasonable. It’s a small location, but finding a seat was no problem on a Saturday night!
Vegetarian options: Lots of vegetarian options!“

“Came in on a Sunday morning right when they opened at 1130 as a party of 8. This wasn't all the food we ordered, but at least 50% of it and I must say, the sushi was really good and tasted fresh, the tempura had a nice batter to it and the chicken yakisoba had a good balance of veggies and noodles.
The staff were very nice and the food came out within a decent amount of time.
The price for the lunch bentos ranged $21-30, and the choose your own items was $21 (3 items) - $24 (4 items) and the sushi combos were about $18-21, but the amount of food you get was A LOT! So I'd say for the amount and quality, it's worth the price tag.
I would definitely come here again.“

“We love our Noma! It is always fresh and delicious! I love the variety - you can choose among various types of rolls but also udons, yakisoba, soups etc.. we are happy to have such a great place with reasonable prices in our plaza!!“
“The Honest Truth (Facts):- menu prices are reasonable and affordable;- cafe is clean inside and has a subtle hint of a sushi restaurant;- located steps outside the Langley hospital;- pay parking and no free parking, as it is on the hospital grounds;- accessible if disabled, via wheel chair, walkers, or crutches;- open weekdays 9am to 7pm, Saturday 11am to 3pm, holidays and Sundays closed;(Personal Experience)If you don't want to wait in the hospital just come to this little paradise. The food was average, I had mixed veggie sushi roll and an avacado roll, but it was fresh and healthy.Lots of options here so my opinion is very limited to those two options. The owner's are friendly and respectful.“

“Rolled in at dinner time on a Saturday and had no problem getting seated right away. The food was expected to be good, based on report for one member of the party. I was not disappointed. We all had rolls of different sorts. My French Kiss roll was as good as I've had anywhere.
The only knock on the atmosphere in the place is the extremely loud heating/ventilation air noise. Makes it difficult to have a conversation without speaking abnormally loudly.
Lots of free parking close by. Prices seemed a bit high, but I've been saying that a lot lately, so maybe just my perception for the time.
I will be back.“

“Went here for lunch one day with my son because he wanted ramen. Of course once he realized they served cold soba noodles he got that instead. He loves cold soba and really enjoyed it. I tried the tantan ramen and it was ok, but not great. Will try something else next time. Will certainly pay them another visit.“

“Still the best bibimbap I've had. This is a staple stop when I'm working in the area. Also a treat for the fam when we make the drive from Burnaby. Great for sushi and their Korean menu. A definite must buy. Guaranteed bang for your buck too! Great owners!“
