“I’m actually in the restaurant now. We came in on a Saturday at 1.30 pm. We tried to order wine but were told wine was not available till happy hour at 2pm. I had a beer and waited. I tried at 2pm and was told I had a choice of one white or red house wine of which I had never heard of. I declined and decided I order wine at home. This is simply ridiculous. It’s a “upper” scale restaurant and I can’t see or order from a white list. Changes need to be made. The burger was excellent. My wife was also frustrated with the inability to order a glass of wine.”

We ordered one Oreo cookie shake to split, our waitress offered to pour it into 2 glasses, they also topped both with whipped cream and Oreo crumbles! We never order the tower of onion rings because of how big they are but, they now have a smaller one that comes with 6 rings called The O-Ring Shorty, genius! I ordered the southern charm burger, soo delicious! And my boyfriend ordered the Smoke & Pepper, he foolishly made his monster style by adding an additional patty, which he could not finish 🤣 The place was extremely busy, while following social distancing measures. “We visited Home Restaurant for Thanksgiving dinner and had a wonderful experience. Due to the size of our party, there was a longer wait than expected, but it was absolutely worth it.
The Thanksgiving turkey dinner with all the trimmings was delicious and tasted like a true holiday meal. Unfortunately, the pumpkin pie was sold out, but we opted for the pumpkin cheesecake instead, and it was a great alternative that didn't disappoint.
A special shoutout to our server, Maya, who was friendly and attentive throughout our visit. Despite the restaurant being extremely busy and clearly having a lot on her plate, she made sure we were well looked after.

“Always have such a great experience at The Keg in Maple Ridge! The food is consistently amazing and everything we’ve ordered has always come out hot, fresh, and cooked perfectly. It’s one of those restaurants where you know you’re going to get a really good meal every time you go.

The staff at this location are also fantastic. Everyone we’ve dealt with has been friendly, welcoming, and attentive without constantly hovering over the table. The service is surprisingly quick as well, even when the restaurant is busy. We’ve never felt like we were sitting around forever waiting for our food or trying to get someone’s attention.

I also really like the atmosphere at this location. It’s nice enough for a special occasion or date night, but still comfortable enough that you can come in for a regular dinner without it feeling overly formal.

Overall, the Maple Ridge Keg has been consistently great for us. Amazing food, excellent staff, and quick and efficient service. We’ve had nothing but good experiences here and will absolutely continue coming back!”

“This is a fantastic restaurant. I enjoyed everything about this restaurant. The service is optimistic and professional. I like the design of the interior, despite the small venue space. I ate there for lunch and had the Lennon's French Toast. It was the best French toast I have ever had at any establishment. All of the ingredients pay compliments to each other and taste great altogether. The coffee was not just great, it was Grade-A quality. I hope to come back to Big Feast Bistro very soon when I am in Maple Ridge again.”

The cafe was very busy when I came on a Tuesday afternoon, yet I still found a table for myself. I only came in for a drink and a snack, however, that was enough to make up my mind. I ordered the Spanish Latte with the Pumpkin Spiced Cream Muffin and the Cappuccino Cream Puff. The latte was potent with that espresso flavour while having that nice balance of earthy and creamy piquancy in the drink. The muffin was fresh and full of flavour, thanks to the pumpkin cream filling and the toppings. The Cappuccino Cream Puff was spectacular; everything about it was tasty from the powdered sugar on top to the light cream-filling. The aesthetic has a modern yet traditional design to its countenance with its spacious studio structure and brick wall to the antiquated decor and antiques. The service was quite good and have no complaints against. I hope the next time I come to Gratia, it will be for a full lunch, so I could try their sandwiches or brunch choices.”

I highly recommend trying Andiamo’s Pizza whenever you are in the Maple Ridge area.”

“I think you’ve changed your cook because the chop suey has changed a lot & not for the good. Way too much cabbage in it when there was never in it before. I miss the book choy , bean sprouts & more celery & baby corm. Price has gone up but you’re now using cabbage as a filler. The chow Mein was greasy & our sweet & sour pork was a little fatty. This was a order for pick up & we have been going here for a long time so to see the quality of the food going down is disappointing.”

“I had an absolutely wonderful first experience with Picasso Bakery and will definitely be returning for future custom cakes.
I stopped in on a Thursday looking for a custom birthday cake for my daughter’s 15th birthday that I needed by Sunday morning. I knew it was very short notice, especially for a custom order, but the owner was incredibly kind, helpful, and welcoming from the moment I walked in. She explained that she normally prefers about a week’s notice for custom cakes, but without hesitation told me she could make it happen.
She took the time to show me different designs and sizes and helped me work through the flavours, filling, icing, and overall look. We decided on a beautiful light-pink, four-layer vanilla cake with buttercream icing and raspberry filling between the layers.
What really stood out was the level of service. The bakery is normally closed on Sundays, yet she went out of her way to meet me at the shop at 8:00 a.m. Sunday morning so I could pick up the cake in time for the birthday. That kind of customer service is becoming very hard to find.
And the cake itself exceeded my expectations. It was beautifully decorated with detailed piping, delicate accents, ribbons, and just the right amount of decoration. More importantly, it tasted every bit as good as it looked. The cake was moist and flavourful, the raspberry complemented the vanilla perfectly, and the scratch-made ingredients really came through. You could tell that a lot of care and craftsmanship went into making it.
She delivered exactly what she promised — and then some. The cake was perfect for my daughter’s 15th birthday, and the entire experience from ordering to pickup was fantastic.
Picasso Bakery has absolutely earned my business for future custom cakes. Beautiful work, delicious cake, exceptional service, and an owner who genuinely seems to care about her customers. Highly recommended!”
