“I’m actually in the restaurant now. We came in on a Saturday at 1.30 pm. We tried to order wine but were told wine was not available till happy hour at 2pm. I had a beer and waited. I tried at 2pm and was told I had a choice of one white or red house wine of which I had never heard of. I declined and decided I order wine at home. This is simply ridiculous. It’s a “upper” scale restaurant and I can’t see or order from a white list. Changes need to be made. The burger was excellent. My wife was also frustrated with the inability to order a glass of wine.”

We ordered one Oreo cookie shake to split, our waitress offered to pour it into 2 glasses, they also topped both with whipped cream and Oreo crumbles! We never order the tower of onion rings because of how big they are but, they now have a smaller one that comes with 6 rings called The O-Ring Shorty, genius! I ordered the southern charm burger, soo delicious! And my boyfriend ordered the Smoke & Pepper, he foolishly made his monster style by adding an additional patty, which he could not finish 🤣 The place was extremely busy, while following social distancing measures. Our waitress was very nice an attentive, we will definitely be back!”

My partner lived in Thailand for many many years, and in the three years we’ve been back he’s been hunting for authentic Thai. Finally, found Tom Yum soup and Tom Kai soup just like he used to have. All our other entrées were authentic, delicious, fresh, massive portions, definitely recommend, and will certainly order again.”

“This is one of the few restaurants in the Langley/Maple Ridge area that has a view of the Fraser River which is why we wanted to take a little drive out to dine there while visiting the area (we live in Kelowna). The river view did not disappoint, although for a major river its relatively "quiet" here. There is extensive glass so you have a good view from inside or you can sit out on the covered patio. It is a classically decorated pub style restaurant with a lively/noisy vibe and live music Friday/Saturday evenings starting at about 7:30 p.m. The menu is varied, includes and goes well beyond pub fare, and the quality of the food we ordered was good and tasty. The servers are friendly; however, our waitress was "new" and did not know the menu items and was unable to make any recommendations or comments on this dish vs that etc.. Better training would be useful. The kitchen is a bit lazy in that we wanted to share our salad as an appetizer and the kitchen would not do it. Also when we asked for extra dressing for the salad or gravy for the main it took a bit too long to come out. This is a stark contrast to our experience at the Kelowna Yacht Club where they split any dish we share without asking and the servers and kitchen coordinate faster responses to adjustments requested when we are asked if the food is to our liking. We enjoyed our experience and it was worth the trip out there. I'll probably return when the weather is good and we can expect a good sunset.”

“We’ve been coming here for years except the last few as we decided to branch out and try other local Italian restaurants. Needless to say we thoroughly enjoyed our meals, service and ambience. Glad we made a reservation tho or we wouldn’t have gotten our favorite table as it was busy for a Friday. Food was excellent and happy to see extra staff on. Portions are huge. Prepare for leftovers if you order the pasta. Desserts phenomenal ( tiramisu and chocolate cheesecake) and drinks were generous.
My son was set on celebrating his birthday at La Trattoria and it exceeded our expectations.
They also have a kids menu so although you may want a date night don’t hesitate to bring the kids. We will be back.”
