9 Best Sushi Bars near Mill Bay

“This was one of those times for me . Should I go the old burger route or try something new.
I first asked to look at a menu and was given one right away. I don't claim to be the most sushi savvy person on Google. But I know what I like .
So always go with first choice or your intuition. My food was spectacular. And I love it when the chef gets a little artistic with the plate.
Service was excellent. Prices are right.
Sadly I live across the water in the USA or I would eat here at least once a week.“

“Just picked up some takeout from this gem, and I have to say, the sushi was absolutely delicious! So fresh and tasty. Not only that, but the service was incredibly fast – we barely had to wait! The owner is such a kind person, and restaurants like this are what make our community feel special. If you’re in the area, you have to try it! We’ll definitely be coming back often.“

“Felt like something fast but not the usual nasty burger. I stopped by here for some teriyaki chicken, and it was great! $16 for a large serving of chicken and sitr-fried vegetables on a bed of rice. There was plenty of both meat and veg. Tasted very good - and it was fast! I recommend!

Vegetarian options: Wide variety of Japanese food choices; some veggie stuff too.

“The sushi was pretty good, but I thought the tuna was a little mushy.I really liked the person who waited on me at the till I believe he was the cook. The sushi was made fresh and quickly. I Heard that this restaurant would be closing down and i'm sorry to hear that. I don't think you can get fresh sushi anywhere in these parts anymore if they are gone.There is a setting sitting bar along the window.And picnic tables outside to sit at.“

“This is a nice little spot. Better for takeout, but it does have a small eat-in space. The people who own/run the shop are quite lovely and the sushi itself is pretty yummy.

Vegetarian options: As with most sushi places, lots of good options for vegetarian rolls.

Parking: Lots of parking in the thrifty food parking lot next door.“

“Love all,of the food, amazing miso (not true of every restaurant), fresh sushi, tasty bento boxes, I can honestly say I’ve not been unhappy with anything they’ve prepared for me. But, if I was to tell you my favourite things the first would be the “Monkey Brains” we recently tried. We’ve had this dish in other restaurants and really thought we’d found the best version elsewhere...but we were wrong! Sushi House Monkey Brains are THE best! The spicy chopped scallop roll is a must, and if you like Pho, their soups are delectable. I recently ordered take out Pho and was so impressed when I realized that the broth was very obviously homemade and it was without a doubt the best Pho I’ve ever had. Thank you Sushi House, you’re our go to place!“
