“I was walking by the shop last week, and I decided to see if they had any gluten free cupcakes. Lo and behold, GF and dairy free (vegan)! And oh my gosh, they were delicious! The flavour of the chocolate cake was rich and with a perfect crumb. The frosting was generous and flavourful, and topped with a real and really delicious raspberry. The toasted coconut frosting was just perfect! I almost ate all 4 cupcakes all by myself… ?Thank you for making vegan and gluten free cupcakes The shop is tiny so not a place where you can sit indoors, but it is pretty, so you can admire the décor while you’re ordering your cupcakes to go.“
“Nice location easily accessible by bus [route #1] and with many other shops in the same mall/area. Very friendly and helpful staff, you can clearly see all of their items on display in the shop and they slice your bread when you buy it. The baked goods are incredibly fresh, picked up a pack of apple cinnamon hot cross buns [multiple flavors/varieties available!] and a loaf of bread, both were baked earlier today. The hot cross buns are amazing! Will definitely be back again to explore more of their offerings.“

“One of my favourite places in Nanaimo. Their bread is unbeatable, and the Fig Hazelnut loaf is without a doubt my favourite bread of all time. Whenever I have company visiting, this is where we go and it is adored every time. Seriously love this bakery, could not recommend it enough!“
“I buy from this bakery and love their baked items. I am also saddened by the harsh/rudeness from the servers. I asked for a loaf of bread to be sliced and you would have thought I’d have asked her to slice her hand off. No she said curtly and added that they don’t slice bread until after 11:30. I was perplexed as I was the only one in the bakery that moment and upon taking my unsliced bread to my car it was cold, not a bit warm which is why I thought maybe they couldn’t slice it.I usually brace myself to be snapped at when I go in and ask for something I want.“

“First time going since reopening. Had a great treat and coffee. Love how bright and clean it is. Found the staff very happy and friendly, even when some one is critical to them about the changes. For those that have trouble adjusting to change, give it and the staff a chance. There is enough negativity in the world today. The bakery/cafe will help many people and the community at large will benefit from it. Hats off to all the behind workers in this ministry.“

“We stopped in just passing by and bought the quiche, the chicken pot an apple fritter and sweet cream cup; the quiche is the BEST we have ever had! The rest was absolutely delicious as well! Highly recommend it. I am seriously going to see if they will ship some of their products to the us in the lower mainland“
