“My daughter and I went for dinner at Cactus Club in Nanaimo and besides the food being amazing our waitress Dani was very refreshing she made the experience even better just her cheery yet not fake but down to earth great personality and great service. We loved Dani our waitress for the night !“

“We came on Saturday of the long-term weekend to celebrate 3 things, my girlfriend's birthday, my graduation from college, and my engagement. The waitress, whose name I can't remember, that helped us on the patio was fabulous. Very friendly and excited for our celebration. When the bill came they paid for the first round of drinks to celebrate with us.
Best raspberry Margaritas in town.“

“Great little breakfast dive bar. A place you wouldn't expect has great food and service. Don't overlook this one from how it is on the outside. Service was awesome and food was amazing. Looks like they did some work on the inside as well. Love it“

“A great little get away from the hustle. A short ferry ride from Nanimo. It has a great cafe with delicious food. Beautiful hiking trails, tons of space to picnic and play and miles of quiet Beaches!“

“Work trip Lunch in Nanaimo, another awesome restaurant in an old house. There are a few in Nanaimo, definitely worth checking out
Got the last available table when I got there at noon, definitely recommend making reservations ahead of time
Food was awesome, the chicken wrap was amazing, tomato soup was great as well. My colleague had the clam chowder, it has more clams than soup, I recommend trying a few different items on the menu. All very tasty

“I have been meaning to make this review and forgot. My server Sophie was exceptional. She was so kind and quick to respond. I loved not having to wait to get a refill on my hot water the wine was always full. Sophie had gone out of her way to make this visit so fun. I will be back but I will be making sure Sophie is my server.“

“Before we arrived I was saying I'd love to get a Nanaimo Bar Gelato, hoping they had one along the waterfront and this place did! Very excited, but also lived up to exactly what I hoped it would be. My mouth is watering just thinking about it“
