“Haven't been to Kypriakis for many decades. The service was great. Food was average. Had the roast lamb. It certainly fell off the bone but was lacking some flavor and the presentation of food was not stellar. The salad was squeezed in a small dish and squeezed on plate. I think the dinner plate was too small.. All in all is was very editable and my other guests e enjoyed there meal too.“

“We went there for dinner with a group of friends. It was my second time visiting. I ordered the Joojeh Kebab (Thai chicken) and kebab loghme which was good quality and served in a generous portion. However, one of the waiters was not polite —especially considering it was only 8:30 p.m. They seemed tired and a bit rude. Overall, I liked the food, but the restaurant needs a strong manager to better train the staff.“

“This is my all-time favorite restaurant. I was there with my friend Reg for lunch last Tuesday, June 3, 2025. I had heard that they were bringing back burgers and omelets and other favorite lunchtime fares on their new lunch menus. Me and my friend were treated to the best and freshest burger that I have ever eaten in my life. A delicious quarter pound beef patty prepared ground on the spot and prepared fresh for us. I thought I had died and gone to burger heaven. The burger was cooked perfectly with mozzarella cheese, onions, mushrooms, bacon, and lettuce and tomato on a fresh made in restaurant delicious bun. We were the first to be treated to these fantastic burgers and am planning to go back over the weekend and chow down on more burger comfort food. It was out of this world delicious. I had ordered a side of french fries before my meal so when my deluxe burger arrived I chose to have rice on the side. Great choice by me again! ! I just want to thank my friends at Andreas restaurant (North Vancouver) for bringing back burgers to their establishment. It was a bon bon day to have such a delicious lunch at my favorite food place and it was wallet-friendly as well as this big burger meal only cost me CA $15.50. Cheers and thank you for the great meal and service. My server Jason was amazing and super attentive. Can't wait to go back with my friends for lunch this coming weekend. The prices are all super reasonable and you can get a full balanced meal that tastes good for less then 20 bucks. This is the only donair shop I ever spend money in.“

“A great late-night option for wraps and platters, my personal preference.

Chicken/Lamb/Beef platters are $18.49 each, and my portion was happily hefty when I picked it up in person versus ordering via DoorDash/Uber Eats. It comes with Greek salad, 2x domaldes, 2 potatoes, rice, and a heap of meat that gets covered in 2 sauces of your choice.

I also ordered a side tabbouleh that I wish was more dominant with parsley, but it’s still decent, and quite filling with the extra quinoa.

The location was super clean, and the customer service was sincerely warm and friendly. Not sure what’s with all the negative reviews, but in my opinion, if you enter with a smile, you’ll get served with smiles in return.

The beef was flavorful and not salty, and the injera was spongy and a bit sour but good. They even gave me more injera on the side.

The food was just like the pictures but I was pleasantly surprised by the humongous portion size. I’ll say you could order one and share for two people. I ordered one for myself but was left filled to the brim.

“Yesterday was my second time at Chickpea, and I have to say they offer a wide variety of options for any time of the day.

On both visits, Laura was my server, and she has been a big part of why I’ve enjoyed this place so much. Her service was incredible, and I always feel very well taken care of every time I come here.

“This place is an absolute gem. I went on a Thursday and got the curry fish on rice with potatoes/peas and kidney beans. You get two veg curries along with one meat option is how it works. You can get a half order or a full order. I got a full order. The fish is only available on Thursdays. I knew it was Salmon once I tasted it and the kind gentleman who took my order told me it's in fact wild pink salmon. Tasted amazing. The order also comes with a pappaddum. Nice touch. Priced very fair for what you get. Excellent salt and spice levels. It's like a home cooked meal. Will be back.“
